28/05/2026: such great pastries that will always hit the spot !! super nice and friendly staff who recommended the authentic babka, and my personal favourite turned out to be the pecan sticky buns !!

27/05/2026: Not impressed by the pistachio roll I bought last Saturday. In the end, rather overpriced (€5.80), especially compared to similar quality options in neighboring bakeries.

25/04/2026: Hello, I strongly advise against this restaurant on all counts. I arrived at 9:30 PM for a meal on a Saturday (which, according to Google, closes at midnight). The welcome was icy; they seated us near the restrooms even though the entire dining room was available. The waitress told us to order very quickly because they were about to leave (great for waiters!). The head waiter, a tall man, was the worst waiter I've ever seen in my life—sorry, but he should find another line of work… Anyway, the cocktails were rushed, and our order arrived five minutes later… so we didn't order dessert because we were bothering them… Moral of the story: don't come here, or completely change your staff (and change your hours, because being open until midnight when they say they close at 10 PM is pushing it).

23/05/2026: Hello, I come to this café regularly, and unfortunately, the experience is often disappointing. The gentleman who seems to be the owner is very bitter, and his way of speaking to customers is cold and unpleasant. This isn't the first time I've noticed this behavior. In addition, the glasses were dirty, which is really unacceptable. I also got the impression that the welcome varies depending on the customer, which is very uncomfortable and gives the impression of unfair, even discriminatory, treatment. It's a shame, because respect and hospitality should be the same for everyone. I hope that an effort will be made in the future.

25/02/2026: I discovered the place when I went to vote at the Consulate. I searched on Google and decided on "La Belote." It was full, but since it was almost closing time, there were tables available. I loved the cod, the dessert, and I'd been missing a good coffee. The waitress is a sweetheart, always available.

04/05/2026: I come every month and it was very good until now, but for the last two months I've noticed a significant drop in the quality of the meat—more fat and tough pieces. And the price increase makes it less appealing: €9 for a meal (small fries, minimal sauce), €6.50 just for a sandwich. It's a shame, I used to love this kebab.
