09/09/2026: How to put it…nice terrace, nice menu, fries and coffee okay…but tense atmosphere! We heard the owner yelling at customers because “you have to book to use a gift card”…then the overwhelmed waitress saying “the customers are unpleasant”…in short, we won’t be back.

07/09/2026: We came for a birthday celebration and everything went very well. The food was good and the service was quick. However, we were shocked by the attitude of a rather older waitress, who wore glasses and treated another, younger waitress very rudely. She even said to her outright, "Aren't you tired of doing nothing?" even though the younger waitress was taking good care of us. The younger waitress started crying in front of us. It's really a shame for the atmosphere, because this kind of behavior affects the other customers.

05/07/2026: Wonderful in every espect! The staff are attentive and caring, the rooms are clean, well-equipped, and thoughtfully maintained down to the smallest detail. (Our room did not have air conditioning, but that was not a major issue.) The restaurant, which has one Michelin star, is truly excellent—don't miss the dinner. We enjoyed it tremendously. The same goes for breakfast. Highly recommended.

29/05/2026: Our experience at La Mare aux Oiseaux was mixed. The welcome was good, and we were seated on the terrace, which, admittedly, has a beautiful setting. However, seven times throughout lunch, we were defecated by bird droppings that had settled directly above our table (including one dropping that fell into a glass of water). While these inconveniences were not the fault of the establishment, no compensation or solution (such as changing tables or removing the birds) was offered, despite our repeated complaints. This spoiled our meal, as we were constantly worried about another dropping. We weren't even offered complimentary coffee to ease our dissatisfaction. We didn't find this to be what one would expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant. As for the food, the dishes were well-prepared, without any mistakes, but also without any surprises. The food and wine pairing surprised us and introduced us to new flavors. The service was very attentive (numerous servers) and welcoming, although it felt a bit like a rehearsed, mechanical routine. The real highlight was the discovery of the food and wine pairing, which delighted and surprised us.

10/09/2026: I came with friends and we had a very good meal and a very warm welcome in a friendly atmosphere; everyone at the table was chatting. I noticed there were a lot of regulars, so it's a good place. I'll definitely go back.

27/08/2026: Still as good as ever! Second meal and absolutely not disappointed. Simple but tasty cuisine, friendly staff, and the owner is fantastic.

09/04/2026: Excellent Japanese restaurant! The dishes are delicious and the ingredients are incredibly fresh. The location is convenient, very close to the subway. The service is also excellent; the staff is welcoming and attentive. I highly recommend it.

23/06/2026: I only had a coffee at the start of the day, but I must commend the impeccably clean restrooms and the neighborhood bistro atmosphere—two rare things. What's more, the Americano was rich and flavorful, and the glass of water was perfectly chilled. I also appreciated that the owner and the young waitress were busy preparing for lunch service, yet careful not to make too much noise, and that there was a good rapport between them. Clearly, previous comments have been taken into account.

05/09/2026: Open on the evening of July 13th (fireworks at the Trocadero). Their veggie sandwich was very good. Same for their smoothie.

29/08/2026: The must-visit restaurant in Valloire! The service is very friendly, and what can I say about the food! The raclette (all-you-can-eat!) is excellent, and the cheese fondues are to die for. It's impossible to leave hungry 😋! And the owner offers a complimentary digestif! Highly recommended!

28/08/2026: A fantastic time at L’Asile des Fondues (a former farmhouse, one of the oldest buildings in Valloire!). With two porcini mushroom fondues and two raclettes on the table, everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The ingredients are top-notch, the porcini mushroom flavor is truly exceptional, and the portions are so generous that you won't leave hungry. The welcome is warm and the setting is lovely. We highly recommend it!

13/09/2026: The unique charm of a chalet right in the heart of Rouen. Fresh produce, including delicious mussels, real crispy fries, efficient service, all offered at very reasonable prices.

13/09/2026: The setting is pretty, resembling a mountain set, but the mussels have no taste. They were probably frozen or vacuum-packed. There was no Camembert or Roquefort cheese. The cream didn't taste like cream. The bread was at least two days old.

28/09/2026: I came to eat without really knowing what to expect, and it was a very pleasant surprise. The kebab was generous, well-filled, with perfectly seasoned meat that wasn't too greasy. The fries were also very good. The staff was welcoming and quick, and the service was impeccable from start to finish. The place was very clean, and the atmosphere was friendly. It's just a shame it's only takeout, as we'd love to be able to eat in! A must-try in the neighborhood; I'll definitely be back.

05/06/2026: A wonderful discovery during lunch with a friend! The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and homemade. The only downside was the lack of parking. I highly recommend this Portuguese cuisine!

24/05/2026: Very rude staff... I went into the restaurant with my girlfriend to eat. I spoke French with a waiter, whose French was broken, and his overweight colleague behind him kept shouting "not English"... You work in the hotel and restaurant industry, a little common courtesy wouldn't hurt.

18/06/2026: I've known Anatolia for a long time. I live in Saint-Claude and I go there regularly. But finally… YES, finally in Saint-Claude I can eat something other than sandwiches! Between the stuffed eggplant, the moussaka, the generously topped salads, and the other dishes on offer, it's a real treat. Everything is delicious, hearty, and you can even get takeout. Honestly, it's a wonderful surprise!

03/06/2026: What a great idea this bread is! Large enough to hold a good amount of food, but not so much as to be overwhelming. The originality and freshness of the parsley in the filling are noticeable and appreciated. And speaking of fillings, the balance between the meat and the seasonings is masterful (all four of our kebabs were similar) and subtle. The meat and spices provide that final, perfectly coated and seasoned touch. A pleasant place with a welcoming atmosphere.

23/09/2026: Lunch during the King Bird Festival. Excellent setting and atmosphere. Very good value for money.

21/09/2026: No hello, no goodbye! A Guinness served in a plastic cup (did you miss the rules on disposables?) and you wondered if it wasn't watered down... The star for the chair. In short, avoid at all costs.
