17/12/2024: 9€ the sandwich menu + fries drinks...because the can is extra at 2€ and the sandwich at 7€, vegetables almost non-existent in the sandwich, no sauce either, bread ok but dry, the meat is good cooked is the only good point. The falafels are not homemade and only taste like fried foods. It's really limit for the price.

14/12/2024: basic quality, they don't make their own pins. When you arrive, no one says hello to you anyway otherwise I have never seen so many people in a kebab, respect to the young waiter who is all alone he is the boss (apart from him they are not made for catering briefff)

14/09/2024: Very unpleasant waitress who asks us for a supplement to have a second pair of cutlery... And no hot drink when it's not even 4:30 p.m. yet. As if people didn't have a snack. The crepe we ordered wasn't even good and was served with pieces of butter straight out of the fridge... The toilets are on the same level as the rest... To avoid, there are much better ones in Chatelet.

23/09/2024: What can I say except for a quick meal and nothing more, this is the place. It wasn't bad but really very simple and not very filling. It doesn't smell like fresh vegetables but frozen ones.

20/11/2025: We ate at Pizzeria de la Plaine last night, and even though we didn't order pizza, the food was absolutely delicious. Generous portions, fresh and well-prepared ingredients—we enjoyed every bite. The welcome was incredibly warm, the staff very friendly, and the atmosphere perfect for a family meal. The service was quick and attentive; no complaints whatsoever. A fantastic place we'll definitely be back to!

14/11/2025: La Pizzeria de la Plaine is a real gem! The kebab is delicious, made with fresh ingredients and perfectly cooked. The welcome is warm, the atmosphere friendly, and the service always smiling. You can tell the team puts their heart into every dish. Whether you're eating in or taking away, it's an excellent place not to be missed. I highly recommend it! 🍕✨

11/12/2024: several visits, really very good Greek a bit like the Greek of the 90s served in a paper, super simple. 4 stars because top and super friendly staff but I wouldn't say it's the best. it all depends on taste. price higher than others, much higher even. for that I don't give it 5 stars. Very spicy meat however, but very good and frozen fries but good too

19/09/2024: Every year we celebrate the anniversary of my parents' wedding with a dinner at Idylle. Unfortunately, it is no longer what it used to be. A very limited and expensive card. When we asked if there was a vegetarian dish, it was immediately made clear that they did not have one. Anyway, we are not difficult people: 'just throw something together', 'Make that salad, but just without the chicken and charge the same rate'. After 30 minutes and 7 back and forth trips to the kitchen, it was reported that this was really not possible. Too bad you have to get angry first before something like this eventually works. But what was the result? Cold cooked pasta, without sauce or vegetables. Probably to send a signal from the kitchen... And this for customers who have been visiting them for more than 15 years. Sad... A good tip -> go 100m further to 'Histoire De..: nice music, tasty cocktails, good food at very reasonable prices. And above all, much better service.

22/09/2024: Very friendly and good-willed waitress… But then big organizational problem, dishes come with sauce instead of without, the fondue nothing exceptional, out of stock for certain accompaniments... You are forced to listen to rap for 30 minutes in a restaurant in the evening... thanks to the waitress who asked the manager to change the music for the customers... the crème brûlée served on a second plate full of sauce (see in the photo)… really not professional at all and catastrophic management… and above all, completely false and uncontrolled notes. We paid 103€ and the wrong bill was 179€!!! Free salad (it was the minimum!) I left a tip for the waitress who did her best.

18/09/2024: We have already been here for the first time and the waiter was very welcoming. But this time, a very cold reception. The lights went out and then back on. It took 1 hour to get the first dish, a table much too small for that. We had no place, we were not offered water during the meal. While the other customers for the same meal had the biggest drinks and were offered water. The fondue was all lumpy, the servers were also very rough. No “bon appetit” or “please” The cutlery was barely taken from our hands. For dessert, we had to wait another 45 minutes, even though there were 6 tables in the restaurant. I wouldn't come back, when I have the other negative opinions I completely agree with them. Then there is a bell that just rings throughout the meal. The waiters come and go outside. Restaurant to avoid!

16/12/2024: 3-meat tacos barely larger than a 1-meat taco, itself not very full... no effort on mixing the meats inside, no or very little sauce and barely cooked fried... If you want to eat a good taco, go to any of the others which are all pretty decent in Cognac but avoid this one.

19/12/2024: I spent two magnificent weekends (in autumn and winter) in the beautiful Refuge du Roc located in the Parc de la Vanoise, which I discovered, a wild place as I love them. I highly recommend this place, where you are warmly welcomed by Alexandre, the refuge keeper, and Gaspard, and where you eat delicious and sometimes surprising dishes concocted by Bjørn, the chef. I plan to return to the shelter in 2025 for a longer stay!
