31/03/2026: The staff is rude, arrogant, and unpleasant. I was blogging about this restaurant, featuring the cassoulet dish in Occitania in Toulouse. Google told me the cassoulet was delicious. But that's not true. When I asked what the dish was and what was inside, the waiter said nothing. He didn't know what kind of meat was inside and simply shrugged. The dish itself was incredibly greasy, with everything swimming in oil. The restaurant is beautiful, a very atmospheric place, perhaps for the French, but not for tourists in the city.

10/02/2026: A very friendly welcome, quick and friendly service, and the order was taken quickly. But most importantly, the food was absolutely delicious. Good quality ingredients, well prepared. Superb from start to finish. Thank you.

12/12/2025: Avoid this restaurant! I don't usually take the time to write reviews, but this time I felt compelled to share my experience because the Google reviews seem contradictory. Given the restaurant's rating, I didn't expect to be this disappointed. To put it simply, the portions were small (it seemed to be a matter of personal preference) and the price was far too high for what was served. We left the table still hungry. For €21, you get four measly porcini mushroom ravioli on a large plate... Bon appétit!

27/05/2026: I came for my birthday; the setting is lovely, very peaceful, surrounded by greenery. The meal was very good and plentiful.

20/05/2026: A haven of peace. The service was remarkable from beginning to end: attentive, warm, and caring without ever being intrusive. Exactly the desired effect for a timeless escape. The setting is magnificent and soothing, and the atmosphere immediately invites you to slow down and savor the moment. A truly wonderful place where you feel genuinely welcomed. Thank you to the entire team for this experience filled with gentleness and elegance.

28/04/2026: This lunchtime, a group of 9, we were all very happy with our meal, whether we chose the set menu or the Perron menu. The hanger steak was very tender, and for dessert I had a chocolate fondant with a scoop of ice cream – absolutely delicious! I thoroughly enjoyed it. The atmosphere was lovely. We'll be back!

26/04/2026: Delicious ice cream! They serve it in the afternoon, which we really appreciate. The service was friendly; if the server had been there more often, we would have ordered more. We like to have a drink first, then browse the menu, order again, and maybe another drink. The interior is very cool, and the terrace offers a great view.

13/06/2026: Unacceptable. Seated at a table with my family, I only learned when I went to order that a kebab couldn't be served at the table. Other people could eat in, but not me. So I had to leave without eating. An absurd rule and service that completely lacks business sense. First and last visit.

10/06/2026: Very, very disappointing. The meat is good, but you seriously need to reconsider your staff. The waiter, who wears glasses, is very arrogant, even rude. We were a family of four—two parents and two children—and we wanted to order three main courses and just one sandwich, since my daughter doesn't eat salad or wheat. She absolutely insisted on a sandwich. I politely asked if she could have a sandwich while we ordered the main courses. He told me, with an indifferent and arrogant air, "Well, she can sit on the terrace by herself; we don't serve sandwiches here" (a 5-year-old child). However, I pointed out that we were in the same situation a while ago, and yet they served her a sandwich with our meals. He then had the nerve to tell me I was lying and that he'd worked at the restaurant for five years and had never served a sandwich in the dining room. A colleague of his came to explain the situation to us kindly. We ordered our meals, but my daughter stayed without eating anything. (We stayed because my husband is diabetic and needs to eat.) We'll never set foot in there again!!

The hours are not indicated on Google or on the door (just "open lunch and dinner" without any details). We also called, without answer. Passing through La Rochelle, we were disappointed not to have been able to try it.

04/04/2026: A restaurant I highly recommend for its warm welcome, excellent service, and homemade food. Sea bream with baby vegetables, accompanied by a salad, followed by apple crumble with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Delicious.
