29/03/2026: First of all, the staff were very friendly... a lovely owner... and traditional cuisine with generous portions. We ate very well, enjoying the truffade and charcuterie. The only slight drawback was the very expensive wine, but that's just my personal opinion, and I highly recommend this establishment.

15/02/2026: For Valentine's Day, we were worried our evening would be noisy and crowded, but not at all! We had a wonderful evening. The food was excellent, and the waitresses were lovely. The children's menu for our 5-year-old daughter was very generous and delicious! Our fondues were incredible too! I highly recommend it! Thank you for this wonderful discovery.

17/06/2026: Wow, great value for money! The Normandy burger with Camembert and apples is absolutely amazing! 😀 Their steak is high-quality meat. The service is friendly and welcoming.

31/07/2026: This restaurant has pretentious staff. I went twice to make sure the first time wasn't just bad luck, but the second time only confirmed my impression. They prevented us from ordering what we wanted with an exasperated and condescending air, rolling their eyes. The same thing happened when I asked about portion sizes: eye-rolling and an ironic comment. It's a shame because the first time, another staff member was very welcoming and accommodating with our orders (he agreed that for a party of eight, ordering two dishes to share for six and two of the same dish for two wasn't insurmountable). They offered no advice on wine. In any self-respecting establishment of this kind, if you see a customer hesitating, you offer advice. You don't come back three times, sighing, only to give them the first bottle they think might be okay. Speaking of wine, you have to pray they actually have it and that it takes them more than 40 minutes to get it. (Delicious wines, though, a nice selection) Sorry for my harsh comment, but if hosting guests is so unbearable for some people, they should find another line of work.

30/07/2026: We went to this restaurant for the third time (we live in the neighborhood), twice for dinner and once for lunch, and it's become our favorite! The value for money is unbeatable. The food is delicious, full of flavor, and the service is impeccable.

30/09/2025: When we were told we could use the UP lunch card at the entrance, I was supposed to be able to pay with it. However, when the bill arrived, it was impossible to pay with the lunch card, neither with my card nor my wife's. To claim they were accepting the card but then not actually accept it upon arrival seems dishonest to me. (The card hadn't been used before, so a €25 charge was possible, and it was a Thursday!) It made for a poor customer experience.

06/08/2026: Simple but friendly atmosphere and service. We tried the meat skewers and they were excellent. The Aligout d'Aubrac was also excellent! A children's menu is available.

04/08/2026: Pleasant setting, generous and delicious meal, fair price considering the quality and quantity. A huge shout-out to the waitress who served us this evening, August 4th. Warm, smiling, quick-witted, and honest. In short, a waitress like that makes dining out even more enjoyable.

16/07/2026: Great experience! We received a very warm welcome from Ophélie and Julie. They even gave our 4-year-old a little treat to keep her entertained while her food was being prepared. For us, Léon is all about the mussels! They were cooked to perfection and very well prepared. My father ordered the seafood sauerkraut and wasn't disappointed either. 23/06/2026: I came with my wife and daughter. Despite the overall rating, we decided to try the first beer. It arrived undrinkable; even the owner admitted it and brought me a lukewarm bottled beer instead. The starter was a semi-cooked foie gras that was foie gras in name only—a raw foie gras, not energized—with an onion molasses. Following that, my wife ordered a scallop dish. It arrived served with chorizo, chorizo ​​sauce, and a kind of gingerbread, also with chorizo. The worst part was that the scallops weren't fresh. As a result, after a few bites, my wife felt really unwell and ended up vomiting in the restroom. We pointed this out to the waitress, who sent over the so-called head chef. He arrived with a plastic container with a label stuck on it, telling us they were still good, but look at the date. A real chef would never have taken seafood out of the cold room and brought it into the dining room in 30-degree heat, let alone opened the container. We got to the till, and I explained that my wife... My wife is 16 weeks pregnant. Barely out of the Tivoli restaurant in Vic-en-Bigorre, she started feeling very unwell: repeated vomiting, shortness of breath, and a headache. We called emergency services (15 in France), who immediately directed us to the emergency room. As a result, she was admitted to the hospital from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., underwent a full examination, received an IV drip, and was under medical observation. The doctor told us it was likely food poisoning. When I pointed out that the dish wasn't good, the cook came out of the kitchen with a simple plastic container holding the raw scallops to show them to me. This scene particularly surprised me. In my opinion, such delicate products shouldn't be handled or presented in this way in the dining room, especially during a heatwave. During our conversation, the owner told us he had personally brought the scallops back that very morning. Upon inspection, we found no refrigerated vehicles belonging to the establishment, only a Peugeot 5008 parked in front. This raised serious concerns about the conditions under which the food was transported and stored. When we inquired about the kitchen staff's qualifications, we were told that everyone was properly trained. Given the circumstances, this response did little to reassure us. The owner offered my wife's meal free of charge, as if the problem were a matter of a few euros, when our sole concern was her health and the risks associated with her pregnancy. Given the seriousness of the situation, I filed a complaint with the Regional Health Agency (ARS) and the relevant authorities so that the necessary inspections could be carried out and this would not happen again to other customers. I am recounting the events as we experienced them. After several hours spent in the emergency room and the consequences suffered by my pregnant wife, we will never set foot in this establishment again.

For me, it's a great little Chinese restaurant in Bordeaux!
