18/08/2024: Finally a decent pizzeria in Loctudy. 10 days into my vacation, I discovered this little pizzeria with no exterior frills, but what a surprise with the quality inside. My wife ate a burger (snack) which made me really want it in front of my very good tartiflette. well stocked and good value for money A little half and half granita was also perfect. Thank you very much for your welcome and your kindness, see you soon before the end of my vacation

28/08/2024: We were stopping at Austerlitz station with my partner. Loaded like mules looking for a restaurant or a quick meal. And we were served in less than two! On top of that, the food was delicious! A real treat!

24/08/2024: Japanese restaurant with incredible value for money, close to Paris Austerlitz station. You eat very well there for less than 20 euros. Very good sushi, skewers and other specialties. There are plenty of choices. I recommend the ME05 menu, a mix of sushi and skewers. It’s very good and plentiful. Fast and efficient service. I've been coming here for years. The new decor has really modernized and rejuvenated this restaurant. I recommend. PS there is no one in the photos because I went there just before closing!

28/11/2024: Plus de 60 ans qu'il m'arrivait de passer devant cet hôtel-restaurant et jamais encore je n'avais eu l'occasion de m'y arrêter. Cette fois-ci, mon épouse et moi, en route pour le Sud-Ouest, avons choisi d'y faire étape en fin de journée. Quelle excellente idée ce fut ! Emplacement immanquable à l'entrée d'une petite ville sympathique, parking aisément accessible, accueil très aimable et jolie salle : bon début. Côté restaurant, du choix tant en matière de menus qu'à la carte, qui plus est à des prix raisonnables. Quant à la qualité des mets, rien à dire si ce n'est du bien. Côté hôtellerie, là encore aucune critique négative, il y a tout ce qu'il faut, la literie est bonne et, cerise sur le gâteau, la climatisation est facilement réglable, ce qui est loin d'être toujours le cas. Le petit-déjeuner fut, sans surprise, à la hauteur de tout ce qui l'avait précédé. L'offre y est vaste, les produits de qualité, avec même, pour l'incorrigible et très expérimenté amateur de croissanterie que je suis, mention spéciale à cette catégorie de produits. Bref : si Dieu nous prête vie, ce Lion là nous reverra à coup sûr. Félicitations à l'ensemble du personnel.

04/08/2024: We stayed six nights at the Les Gentianettes hotel, and overall, our experience was quite satisfactory. The setting of the hotel is elegant, offering a real change of scenery. The services offered, such as the swimming pool, sauna, hammam and jacuzzis, are in perfect condition and greatly contributed to our well-being during our stay. The welcome from all the staff of the establishment was very warm. However, we were disappointed by the attitude of the hostess, who lacked commercial sense and friendliness. After five nights, we noticed that the bedding, although of good quality, did not suit us (too hard) because there was no real mattress topper. We asked if it was possible to add one to soften our mattress, but she simply replied that the bedding was exceptional and that she did not understand our request, and above all, she did not try to find one. solution. This unsympathetic response tarnished our stay. As a result, we considered leaving the hotel early, but no refund was possible, forcing us to stay. It's a shame to end on a negative note when the establishment as a whole is rather satisfactory. For future customers, it is also important to note that catering and breakfasts are quite expensive. Plan a substantial budget, with prices of €25 for breakfast and €37 per person for a pierrade, for example. Even if the staff remains very friendly, apart from the hostess, they lack a lot of experience. We had to request drinks at a dinner several times and also had to request that part of our bill be canceled for drinks at the pool that did not concern us. Despite these inconveniences, the Les Gentianettes hotel remains a pleasant place for a relaxing stay, provided you are prepared for certain costs and a variable welcome depending on the people you talk to.
