14/04/2026: Ate here twice with my wife and 14 months old todler. No issues with service even with additional requirements for toddler (unsalted fries, underseasoned pasta etc.) Nice and profesional crew inside, tasty food and reasonable prices. Worth to visit for sure.

18/07/2026: We ordered two hours ago and the pizza still hasn't arrived. They won't pick up the phone. They won't refund. Horrible place, horrible service. WASTE OF MONEY

12/06/2026: Restaurant with excellent food and service. Magnificent view. My family and I have been coming here for 50 years. Always the same warm welcome and the same high quality. It's a shame they don't host weddings; my son is getting married next year, and we would have loved to have our reception in this beautiful setting. I recommend it 1000%!

17/07/2026: When we ordered, we were a little worried about the portion size. We ordered three tapas for two people, and we couldn't even finish them all because the portions were so generous. The dishes were beautifully presented, and we found them very tasty. The service was pleasant and quick! Three tapas and two drinks for under €50 seemed reasonable considering the quantity and quality.

24/03/2026: We stopped there by chance because the ski lift was out of order. And that's when the "trap" tightened: Excellent experience! Warm service, delicious and beautifully presented dishes. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the culinary expertise. And reasonable prices. We went back three times! I highly recommend it!

20/04/2026: A very good experience at this shop. We went there several times during our stay. The staff (a young man and the manager) were always welcoming and friendly. They even gave our children little treats (a few sweets on the way out). A wide selection of Savoyard and Swiss products. You can sample the charcuterie, and when you ask for advice, the staff are always happy to explain. I didn't find the prices excessive! We stocked up before leaving... but I'll be back. A nice touch: the anti-waste initiative at the end of the shop! A great idea to combat food waste! The option to order online is also a fantastic idea. And finally, their sausage is a gold medal winner in 2025.

22/04/2026: We had burgers. They were very good, and their homemade desserts were excellent. The waiter was very friendly. It's a great place to eat in a welcoming atmosphere.

15/08/2026: A fairly ordinary restaurant with poor value for money. Very little refinement in the presentation. (The charcuterie board was less well-prepared than what I'd make at home: whole slices of ham, large chunks of cheese, loose salad...) Frozen fries and an average burger (still not up to the standard of what you can make at home). All this for almost €40 per person. It would be better to reduce the portion sizes and improve the quality. Thankfully, the service was pleasant.

13/08/2026: The service and food were excellent; however, it's deplorable to use AI to create the restaurant's menus. Graphic design is a real profession, art is important, and above all, AI is extremely polluting, which obviously contributes to the melting of the Alpine glaciers so close to the restaurant. Creating a simple collage, or ideally, employing a graphic artist, is infinitely more pleasant for the customer, better for the environment, and beneficial for the restaurant. Aside from that, don't change a thing!

01/08/2026: We've been going to this restaurant for several years, every winter and summer, and unfortunately, we can only note the price increases and the decline in the quality of the food. A charcuterie platter costing €8 and very meagerly presented to accompany a fondue (€26 per person), €5 for four potatoes… And what about the children's menu at €16: pasta boiled in water, without butter, oil, cream, cheese, or Parmesan, and a sad slice of ham thrown on top. There's a minimum standard, after all… We recommend Les Petits Sablés instead, where the menu is admittedly smaller, but the quality of the food is far superior. We won't be returning to Aux Copeaux, much to our disappointment, as we loved the ambiance.

16/07/2026: I'd walked past it several times without ever paying it any attention, but I finally went in today, and for a first-timer, I was pleasantly surprised. I was impressed by the service; the term is quite fitting. One small drawback: I suggest going in the summer, especially during a heatwave. My fault for not going in, I was wearing a suit. Aside from that, I ordered the carbonara. The subtle addition of fried onions was a clever touch; it added a nice crunch, enhanced the flavor, and softened the bitterness of the pepper without altering the taste of the pasta. As for coffee, it's simple: I ordered a cappuccino, a reliable choice. Since I hate bitter coffee, it was the perfect solution. Actually, even though it was a little bitter at the end, the cappuccino was still quite acceptable. In total, it cost me €16.50. For an Italian restaurant with prices between €20 and €30, this is really inexpensive; it's a normal price. And it's definitely worth the price. I want to address the negative reviews of this restaurant that say there isn't enough parmesan, that nothing is cooked properly, and that it's too expensive—that's simply not true! I loved it, so the restaurant truly deserves the 5 stars I'm giving it. Congratulations to them; I'll definitely be back. I highly recommend this restaurant. Arthur Montclar

25/07/2026: We enjoyed a raclette cooked over a wood fire with charcuterie—a real treat! For dessert, we had chocolate mousse and pavlova, perfect! The restaurant's setting is truly lovely, and the service was excellent! A special thank you to Fanny for her recommendations and the quality of her service. We ordered the wrong coffee, and she exchanged it without any problem. We appreciated this thoughtful gesture and will definitely be back soon to try other dishes on the menu, which look very tempting. It was a pleasure to eat in this very friendly restaurant with its high-quality food. It's not a tourist trap; give it a try if you're ever in Chamonix!
