08/09/2024: Shocking restaurant. Food below average and the owner is rude and ignorant. How he works in hospitality is beyond us. Not a nice person at all. Best advice would be to walk straight past. There are plenty of fabulous restaurants nearby with a far better attitude to paying customers. Needless to say no tip was left.

07/09/2024: We went there around 3 pm and were just looking for a kid pizza for my daughter and a cappuccino for myself. The waitress didn’t quite seem to like it that we didn’t place a bigger order. She took our order. After a minute or so she came back and quite sternly asked me to remove my personal water bottle from the table as it was “against restaurant’s policy”. It was a standard 500ml water bottle. We asked her to not bother our order then and that we can go somewhere else. I came out and too a picture of the restaurant, so I could record the restaurant name. It was then, the restaurant owner came charging towards me with a clear intent to intimidate me. He brought along the same waitress to help translate between French and English. He asked me how dare I take a photo of his restaurant. I told him this is so I leave a review of my experience. He said few things in French and continued to try to physically intimidate me with his body language; as if he is going to strike me at any moment. My daughter and I just walked away. The owner is clearly a goon.

07/12/2024: Second time in this restaurant. Delicious food, fair prices and friendly service. Suitable for children because they have books and small games available. We will come back!

06/12/2024: Always so much fun stopping at Les Marronnier. The welcome is warm, the service efficient, the cuisine very good and generous. A lunchtime formula that defies all competition. THANKS.

02/12/2024: A great restaurant. Very simple atmosphere, old-fashioned decor that reminded me of my grandmother in details. The napkins, the little orange cast iron casserole dishes.... A diverse menu that's just what you need. A cuisine that will knock your socks off.... The warm and friendly service. When leaving the station, don't hesitate to walk a few kilometers to eat much better there, and at a reasonable price. Thanks to them for welcoming us at 9 p.m. In short, we will go back... 🤩

13/12/2024: A nugget! The food is delicious, the view is superb, the team is adorable: everything you need to have a good time in the mountains.

23/09/2024: Humid. Heavy rain when we arrived and no possibility of drying our belongings. We interrupted our TMB because our things had not dried overnight

28/01/2025: Lovely, well equipped hotel. The food was delicious, lots of options and varying the specialities each day was really welcome. What made the hotel was the staff, really friendly and helpful and superbly knowledgeable about local amenities/facilities/services. We loved the spa too and popped in there a couple of times. Our only slight complaint were the smelly lifts! Don't know if it was the carpets or just that we mis-timed going in after a smelly guest, but we always felt like we had to hold our breath in the lifts! A minor point though compared to our overall feeling about the hotel which we adored.

25/01/2025: Everything was wonderful, staff friendly and really wonderful hotel. Just a couple minutes walk from everything including the busses to the mountains. Would happily stay again!!

24/01/2025: Exceptional food and service. Could not fault either. One of the best restaurants in Morzine, without a doubt. And incredibly friendly owners who serve with a smile, and are obviously incredibly proud of their restaurant.

21/01/2025: Very good service But much too noisy and above all high prices for a very small quantity 27€/person per pierrade to have only 3/4 pieces of beef and the same of chicken is exaggerated

15/09/2024: Cuisine raffinée avec des produits du terroir . Mon mari a pris les filets de perches au chorizo, tomates confites avec ses petits légumes frais et frites : l'association était parfaite. Moi je me suis régalée avec le Berthout Chablaisien ( abondance fondu) et ses accompagnements : très copieux Un grand merci à l'équipe qui est très accueillante et souriante, nous nous sommes sentis en famille

06/09/2024: What a wonderful discovery. Super pleasant and kind staff And the meal...exceptional Well done. Homemade aperitif a real discovery. The little frying and its tarragon sauce was a real delight. The scallop skewer melted in the mouth. The perch fillets took me back to my childhood... rice pudding and tiramisu to finish this succulent meal Everything was excellent Congratulations again to the entire drunk boat team. We strongly recommend

25/08/2024: Que dire c'est un regal pour les papilles avec des plats tous tres copieux et tres parfumes avec des odeurs tres suptiles, sommes restes une semaine en demi pension avec une variete de plats Bravo les cuistos Un accueuil tres bien, Un personnel competent et souriant ( un grand merci a Leia en particulier vous savez la ptite brunette avec ces barrettes! pour son sourire naturel et la presentation des plats Un beau decor interieur et exterieur bien propre Pti bemol sur la chambre qui donne sur la rue avec un petit peu de circulation mais il faut bien que les livreurs passent!! mais comme il faut se lever pour visiter!! Je ne mange pas de dessert mais l'omelette Norvergienne j'ai pas resiste! ( Un pti Genepy aurait ete bien venu!! A bientot de revoir votre belle region Dan & Vivi
