08/05/2026: Excellent lunch for 7 people. We enjoyed a meal on the terrace overlooking the lake. The service was friendly and pleasant. We particularly liked the fried perch fillet, the signature burger, and the tuna tartare. Don't hesitate to put your name on the waiting list: we did, and a table eventually became available. Fantastic!

01/04/2026: I've visited Vaffieu many times over the last 5yrs of their 25yrs since 2001, and ALWAYS had great food, service with a smile, and they always do their best to accommodate you, even when so busy they don't have to! The boss & très élégant Carole & Christian Gravier (divorced, but still a team!) It's a great family business with son Hugo running the bar team. (not forgetting son Ronan, super DJ, see him at Happy Hours and more Morzine venues) Kitchen headed by Chef Marco, 14yrs and counting + team of 5 Super service from Amandine, thankyou, thankyou, Merci Beacoup!

20/04/2026: Avoid at all costs. The person who prepared my order forgot my extras (double steak, cheese, bacon). Once I arrived at my worksite, I realized all my extras were missing. I went back to get what I had actually ordered… and was called a thief. Since that was impossible, the man couldn't possibly make a mistake. He refused to give me what I had ordered. I had to threaten to go back to the manager at the head office (where my worksite was located) to finally get what I had ordered. As a result, I wasted almost an hour (my break) and had to eat on the go… I will never set foot in that establishment again and I strongly advise against it… for that price, there are much better restaurants that make good burgers with real service…

14/04/2026: The burgers are really good, with a focus on quality and local ingredients (the burger in the photo is 100% local!), homemade fries and milkshakes with artisanal ice cream, a friendly atmosphere and a great team to serve you!

07/03/2026: Reblochon burger, nothing special. A bit dry. The waitress was friendly, but the owner wouldn't let me take my Perrier home as soon as I started drinking it because the bottle was returnable. That's petty considering the deposit, especially since I'd already paid for the Perrier at the price I was charged. SO THANKS TO THE WAITRESS FOR THE PLASTIC CUP.

06/03/2026: A place to grab a bite to eat on the way to the ski resorts, but the price doesn't justify the quality. The Reblochon burger was nothing special. A large bottle of water cost €7. At that price, I'd rather have Super La Neige. The atmosphere was terrible. I don't recommend it.

02/05/2026: A very warm welcome and impeccable service! There were four of us, and we each chose a different menu: everything was excellent. The portions were truly generous! Despite this, we couldn't resist a dessert, which was just as delicious and substantial as the main courses. We had a wonderful time on the terrace, enjoying the beautiful weather and surrounding scenery… a real treat! Thank you so much!

13/04/2026: Exceptional hotel. We had a wonderful stay. All the staff were incredibly attentive. The hotel's view of Mont Blanc is magnificent; we dined there on our first evening and thoroughly enjoyed the quality of the meal. We also had the opportunity to use the spa during our stay. Thank you to the entire team, and especially to Ms. Nitram, who ensured our stay was perfect. We will definitely be back!

08/04/2026: We had an absolutely wonderful time here and cannot recommend this place enough. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They are so thoughtful that even gave my 3-year-old daughter a present. The food was amazing. The quality and flavors were top-notch. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and can't wait to come back!

08/04/2026: The fondue was very good, and the place was quite nice, although very noisy. The welcome was very pleasant, and the service was attentive. The price was very high, but average for Megève.

03/04/2026: My favourite is the truffle fondue! It is absolutely delicious. The roast salmon was so yummy and the meat fondue varietals. Lovely service and pleasant staff. Fantastic main playlist. Delightful ambience. Our second time visiting back again- we love it and you will too.

04/04/2026: The chicken was so juicy. The portions were large and the fries were crispy. Therefore we decided to come back to do cheese fondue, which was creamy and smooth. As we don’t eat pork we got vegetables and potatoes. We enjoyed both times having lunch here. The service is very friendly and easy going. The guy serving us has such a positive energy. The lady serving us is a bit stressed and running around which makes she is not fully listening, but she made us feel comfortable welcome and checking in with us regularly. The restaurant itself is really authentic and and nicely decorated. The terrace is in the full sun. It is a pleasure to visit this restaurant.

27/01/2026: I hadn't been back to Pont de Bonlieu since 1982... And I was so glad to be back! My wife and I ordered the set menu. We ate very well, the portions were generous and delicious. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. We'll be back very soon on a Saturday for the frog legs or the perch fillets.

07/03/2026: The hotel is very well located on the slopes. The restaurant is very good and the spa is excellent. We booked the family suite, which cost us a fortune (€2400 for 3 nights), and frankly, at that price, we expected a slightly higher-end service: no amenities, the sitting area was reduced to two small armchairs, one of the sinks didn't work, the coffee machine and cups weren't changed daily, the terrace overlooked the parking lot, and the staff was not very available… so, a bit disappointed!

25/02/2026: I very rarely give 5 stars but this hotel was so perfect for our holiday, I couldn't fault anything and therefore its very deserving. The location is ideal with a boot room that opens out directly onto a slope which takes you down to the main cable cars. It was about a 10-15 minute walk downhill, with a slow toddler,(quicker if skiing down), but it made the main town area more accessible than if we walked down the various roads at the front of the hotel. The views from the hotel were lovely, we were fortunate to be able to see some of the slopes from our bathroom window which was a nice touch. The hotel itself was very family friendly and is run by an actual family who together with their staff members were so friendly, helpful and professional throughout our stay. We went with a 1 year old toddler who enjoyed running around the hotel and everyone was very patient and lovely about it, when he became a bit too unsettled during diner times in the main room, arrangements were made for us to eat separately in the "lounge room" which helped him feel more relaxed and allowed us as parents to enjoy our meal. Speaking of which, the food was varied, satisfying and incredibly tasty, we opted for half board and dinner was a set menu one night with a special option the following night and so on. On the specials nights we managed to try raclette, fondue and an amazing duck. Breakfast was also of a very high quality with a good variety of items, I still think about the french toast which was a joy to have each morning. I appreciated the breakfast not feeling like a mass market buffet and it felt as if the dishes were prepared thoughtfully. The spa area and pool were a great bonus and our room layout itself was functional and cosy. The alpine charm was felt throughout the hotel. If considering a stay I would highly recommend this gem.
