Les meilleurs restaurants en Haute-Savoie

18/08/2024: This is a really lovely little restaurant bursting with charm and character, and much nicer than many of the larger and more commercial options at the mountain top. There's only one option on the regular menu but it is a good one - potato fritters, with dried meat and some very interesting locally made cheeses, and a small salad. The food was excellent. The tiny kitchen and very small menu mean you may struggle a bit if you have dietary restrictions, but if you are happy with local cheeses and meats you can't go wrong here. It's a very small place, maybe 20 seats inside and a similar number outside, and the inside with its open kitchen and cosy fireplace very much has the feel of a family house rather than a restaurant. On the terrace you have amazing views, and the accompaniment of the bells of the herd of cows who live in the field next door. Service is friendly and personable, and we were also offered a digestif on the house at the end of the meal. It's maybe a 15 minute walk from the Mont d'Arbois cable car, a bit further than the most of the other options - but overall it is well worth the detour.

10/12/2024: Putting aside the successful decor, mediocre restaurant. No menu, you manage with your phone for the menu. €14 for a veggie burger (a rosti between 2 slices of bread), Waiter who twice forgot the carafe of water, who brought fries instead of a salad. No caramel coulis on dessert... Go on your way. It's bad and expensive.

16/09/2024: Ambiance très chaleureuse et équipe très sympa. Reblochonnade très bonne et copieuse... idem pour la braserade... car on a fait un 2ème repas le lendemain ! 😜🤪 Un dessert exceptionnel : petite sphère de meringue avec glace au citron et... à découvrir ! 🤣 4 étoile sur 5, car je trouve dommage qu'un petit digestif ne soit pas offert... surtout au bout du 2ème repas (120/130€ pour 2 à chaque repas).

This is rare enough to be reported. Well, on the other hand, I forgot my sunglasses on your table but you had nothing to do with it.
