15/03/2026: i love ghandi restaurant. firstly, i live in the area and having such good, authentic food close by is wonderful. second, the owners and staff at ghandi are such lovely people that it makes any visit very pleasant. moreover ghandi adds much needed variety to the overall food scene in the valley. highly recommended!

24/03/2026: The hotel’s location is very good, we could go everywhere in the village on foot. The service is very good. A special mention to Lea, who was very helpful and kind from the very beginning. The breakfast was good.

14/04/2026: A disappointing visit for a coffee on the terrace!
The Caramel Latte was €3.80 on the menu, but the bill came to €4.50 with an extra €0.50 for caramel, totaling €5! When I pointed this out, the waitress told me that was the price, that they had changed it since January but it wasn't reflected on the menus, and that they offered no refund. Therefore, I do not recommend this place; it's not customer-friendly and it's a rip-off.

13/09/2025: We had a wonderful time at the Chalet de l'Aulp. The people were truly lovely and the food delicious! I ate the tartiflette, the best I've ever eaten!!
The team came out in person to sing us Happy Birthday with our cake, which was absolutely adorable!!
I recommend it 200%!
Just be careful about the parking lot downstairs; when it's full, the police will fine cars parked further down...
Go for it!

18/04/2026: Catastrophic!! An 18-cent surcharge for a sugary Coke, and they forgot the fries and sauces. We waited a good 10 minutes for our McFly!
Not to mention the stomach ache afterward, the price increase, and the significantly reduced portion sizes!! Avoid at all costs.
16/04/2026: I paid extra, they added it, not much of a wait.

10/02/2026: The check-in process was lengthy and difficult for many. There was confusion about the deposit. There was no hot water, but they do have a shower, which apparently doesn't work often. The food is decent, the bar closes very early, and if you have to leave your backpack in the garage but sleep on the top floor, this is very annoying.
28/09/2025: The manager is not up to the task, he could drown in a drop of water. Friendly and efficient staff, very decent meal.

19/02/2026: We arrived with complete independence. The housekeeping in the rooms needs improvement as they are starting to show their age. The food was well-equipped, the pool was clean and well-heated, and the rooms were also well-prepared. The bed was made up before our arrival and even included an extra pillow. There were no bathrobes for the pool. We only stayed one night, but I could easily see myself staying a week.
15/02/2026: A very nice residence, well located near Annecy with a lovely view, and several swimming pools, including one open even in winter. Self check-in is available from 2 pm onwards, which we really appreciated.

You have to fight to get the menu, place an order (and only receive part of it), and get up to pay, otherwise nothing happens, and there's absolutely no apology or gesture of goodwill. Our neighbors didn't have our patience and left. There are many other restaurants in Les Lindarets (Chaudron, La Terrasse) and elsewhere in the area that are much better!

18/01/2025: A magnificent place; the decoration of the hotel is modern and very beautiful, the rooms are amazing.
The welcome is perfect and the meal excellent.
The view from the hotel, just a stone's throw from the lake, adds further charm to the place.
We had a wonderful weekend!

The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always available. The restaurant is excellent, with a wide variety of high-quality dishes.
The location and amenities are ideal for a family vacation. We left delighted and highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is very clean, the room pleasant with a beautiful view.
The breakfast was very complete with a wide selection.
The fireplace in the lounge was a very welcome addition.
The spa, the heated outdoor pool—everything is there for a pleasant stay.
We'll be back!
