30/03/2026: We stumbled across this absolute gem while on holiday in Le Grand-Bornand and it was a highlight of our trip. The food was fantastic and the pizza in particular was top quality, complemented perfectly by the lovely and welcoming service we received. We were surprised to learn that this was actually their final day under the current ownership, which is a real shame given the high standard they have maintained. We truly enjoyed our meal and want to wish the team all the very best for the future.

06/05/2026: Very good beer, good experience, but the Champions League evening and the match glitched... The leopard print, however, was very nice, hence the 2 stars. I could have given it 3 stars, but the bespectacled waiter unfortunately got the menu mixed up, so... no choice.

19/03/2026: Every year we come to end our holidays with a fantastic barbecue! Once you get over the initial surprise of the smoke from the braziers (asthmatics beware!!!...), the old-fashioned farm-inn atmosphere is friendly and welcoming! We have a soft spot for this place, which hosted us as a family for many years... We remember the perfect breakfasts back then...

09/03/2026: Excellent location for this family-run restaurant at the foot of the L'Hôtel slope. Everything is homemade. If you're looking for a typical mountain spot where you feel comfortable, eat well, and are served by attentive staff, you've come to the right place! Our go-to spot for a great fondue (and much more) every time we visit Praz-de-Lys, summer or winter.

30/03/2026: We came to celebrate a birthday, but we mostly tested our patience… We arrived on time → waited 15 minutes completely ignored, not even a glass of water. The welcome was nonexistent. We ordered fondues, clearly explaining the quantities → the restaurant decided to do its own thing and changed the order without warning. The result: inconsistent portions, identical fondue pots… either they were improvising, or hoping we wouldn't notice. We asked for an explanation → the waiter vanished. Literally. Houdini, but without the show. The drinks? Forgotten. We had to ask for them; apparently, they were optional. And the food… the fondue was so acidic we wondered if it was a dish or a cleaning product. The charcuterie was on par with school cafeteria fare on a dreary Monday. All this for a hefty price, though that, on the other hand, was perfectly reasonable. In short, nonexistent service, disorganized, and questionable quality. At this point, it's no longer a restaurant, it's an experience. Avoid it, unless you enjoy paying a lot to be ignored.

23/04/2026: I stayed with my son for three days and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel is clean, and the staff are kind and attentive. A big plus was the quality of the breakfast, with a wide selection and high-quality products. The children's area was also a big hit with my son. Thank you all.

18/04/2026: Because of the "special" Geneva Watch Trade Fair prices, I ventured a bit further afield this time for three nights – to Archamps – and stayed at this Ibis. Although it's not officially listed as an Ibis Budget, it certainly feels like one... First, the positives: Friendly staff / free parking / a 10-minute drive up Geneva's local mountain after work – with fantastic views and hiking trails Now the less positives: Many things look a bit worn / breakfast was "okay" / the shower head in the bathroom wouldn't stay on its holder / the waterproof bed sheet caused heat buildup / the window didn't tilt open / only one German TV channel I've definitely stayed in much better Ibis hotels.

31/03/2026: I stopped by for dinner on a Sunday evening with my colleague, and the welcome was very warm. The staff who served us were very attentive and pleasant. The meal was very satisfying, beautifully presented, and of very good quality. I highly recommend it.

Impolite service wanted us to get out in 2min because we order only hot drinks and they wanted to earn more money They didn't tell us that if we order only drinks we have 5min to drink it and get out It's impolite and inhumane to treat another person like that in such weather conditions I don't recommend this place unless you want to talk with moody frogeaters

26/04/2026: What a wonderful time we had on your terrace this Sunday, April 25th! There were three of us, and we enjoyed an excellent calf's head, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The dessert menu is impressive! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and the service was impeccable; the waitress was professional and very friendly. I highly recommend this place for its cuisine and the warm welcome we received from the moment we arrived. We were offered an aperitif even though we arrived early, before noon, which we greatly appreciated! We will definitely be back! Thank you all.

17/04/2026: A very pleasant hotel from the moment you arrive. The staff are very friendly, and the location is excellent in the heart of the city. The rooms are simply splendid, and the breakfast buffet is incredible – it has everything you could dream of. The restaurant is very gourmet, with delicious and reasonably priced dishes. You'll definitely want to return. I loved my stay.
