26/03/2026: A truly excellent mountain restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere. The portions are generous. The service is impeccable and the ambiance is very welcoming. It's rare to find owners who take such good care of their employees, and it shows in the overall atmosphere. Hats off to all the kitchen, service, and management staff. A restaurant not to be missed.

25/03/2026: Alpine restaurant right on the slopes with simple yet delicious mountain cuisine. We visited this restaurant twice, charmed by its ideal location at the foot of the slopes and by its honest, unpretentious food. The menu isn't particularly original—most dishes are simple and straightforward (cheese specialties like tartiflette, savory buckwheat crepes, omelets, salads, etc.). On our first visit, we tried the goat cheese salad, which was good but not memorable, as well as the tartiflette, which wasn't particularly successful. However, the duck breast with thyme sauce and dauphinoise potatoes left a very good impression. On our second visit, I opted for the butcher's special with green peppercorn sauce: a pleasant surprise, with flavorful and perfectly cooked meat. This time, we left room for dessert—and we were right to do so. The chocolate and salted caramel crepe was delicious, as was the blueberry tart, generously filled with fruit and boasting an intense blueberry flavor. The service was pleasant and efficient. The main drawback is the rather unpleasant atmosphere due to the large number of customers and the high noise level, which can become quite overwhelming during peak hours. In short, this restaurant is a convenient and enjoyable stop during a day of skiing, offering simple yet tasty cuisine and good value for money.

10/03/2026: We had a rather unpleasant experience at this restaurant. While going up onto the terrace, my 8-year-old child unfortunately put his hands on the railings and ended up with about ten splinters! The staff seemed aware of the problem, but the owner was completely unhelpful. He told me there was nothing he could do and offered me a coffee (?!), perhaps thinking that would console a crying child with splinters all over his hands and an afternoon of skiing ruined. Unbelievable...

03/02/2026: We discovered this restaurant this evening with my partner and our son, and it was love at first bite. The staff is lovely, with attentive service provided by Claire, and Aurélie, the manager, is also very pleasant and welcoming. A typical restaurant with a warm atmosphere and traditional cuisine: exactly what you dream of when you come to Megève. We enjoyed it so much that we've already booked for another evening. A flawless experience from start to finish. Thank you to the whole team for this wonderful and delicious meal.

19/03/2026: Classic brasserie in Chamonix, seafood plater was excellent, schnitzel is very good and oversized! Service is friendly - busy place!

The rib-eye steaks were succulent, the wine perfect, the complimentary génépi offered, but above all, the service by Louis El Catalan was top-notch—don't change a thing, and certainly not the mustache ;) Definitely until next time!! 12/03/2026: Shameful service I'm a professional tour guide, I booked a table for 9 people three days in advance, including some who were coming specifically for this restaurant, and I was told they hadn't taken my reservation. This is shameful for an international clientele. (The person who greeted us eventually found us another table.) In short, a business to avoid.

30/01/2026: No trip to Morillon is complete without a stop at La Combe! Summer or winter, on the terrace or inside, we enjoy delicious food and are always warmly welcomed!

29/01/2026: I went there with a group of friends. We waited 15 minutes for the menu, which wasn't particularly interesting. After ordering drinks, the owner asked us to leave the restaurant. Unpleasant atmosphere. I don't recommend it.

25/02/2026: Wonderful place to stop for a meal or drink on the mountain. My entire family (6 people) was able to get a table quickly. The food was great and the scenery was fantastic. I do reccomend coming earlier in the day if you have a larger group. Additionally, I believe they take reservations but we did not need one during the week.

03/01/2026: We ordered two lamb couscous dishes and were very disappointed. The semolina wasn't fresh; it had a slightly off taste. There were very few vegetables, and we asked for more sauce twice because the couscous was too dry. We spoke to the waiter to tell him the semolina wasn't good, and he told us it was fresh. As an apology, he offered us a glass of mint tea. The prices are too high for the quality.

26/12/2025: There are still restaurants where the food is cooked with love, generosity, and quality. Served with a smile and great discretion. What a joy to have discovered this restaurant by chance. I highly recommend you try it.

28/02/2026: Really disappointed with our very short experience. I was staying with my two young children in the hotel in which the restaurant sits. I'd booked a table for three a few nights before and came in with the kids to do so. When we arrived, the head waiter shook his head when he realised the table was for one adult and two children. We ordered a fondue for two and the immediate response was that normally they expect a meal to be ordered per person dining. Apparently he was willing to make an exception tonight. Whilst an apology was given it was clear we were not truly welcome in this restaurant attached to a *family* hotel. All this despite what we ordered totalling more than one adult and two kids meals. We had a lovely meal in a different local restaurant where they more than catered to our needs, and with a smile and sincerity not found here.

22/03/2026: Thank you for the warm welcome, the waitress was fantastic! The knochies and the Savoyard Nicoffee were excellent! Definitely add them to the menu! 🤣 We'll be back!

13/03/2026: We stope here while heave snowing. Impolite service wanted us to get out in 2min because we order only hot drinks and they wanted to earn more money They didn't tell us that if we order only drinks we have 5min to drink it and get out It's impolite and inhumane to treat another person like that in such weather conditions I don't recommend this place unless you want to talk with moody frogeaters

07/02/2026: I came on a Saturday with my boyfriend and a friend and I'm very, very satisfied. A very welcoming place, the waitress was very pleasant and attentive to our requests. Excellent food, I highly recommend it!

24/02/2026: Absolutely ridiculous! They refused to give my daughter a children's menu unless I ordered an adult menu. It's not mentioned anywhere on their menu. A truly awful policy; we won't be back. Thank goodness for San Juliano.

18/02/2026: Waiting an hour for a pizza and a wrap is a disgrace, and the manager is very unpleasant; you can tell he's overwhelmed, even though it's understandable that it would be busy on a Wednesday during school holidays.

24/02/2026: Great restaurant with French dishes (onion soup, tartares) and pub fare (burgers, etc.). Well-prepared food, friendly and quick service, good atmosphere without being noisy. Superb!
