25/03/2026: Everything we ordered was very good, especially the beef tataki and the steak with Café de Paris sauce. Friendly service.

21/02/2026: We came by chance, without high expectations, and yet we were very pleasantly surprised. A limited menu but quality ingredients, tasty home-style cooking, and quick, friendly service. We highly recommend it!

11/01/2026: Unfortunately, the pizza was mediocre and of very poor quality. The crust was undercooked, the ingredients were disappointing, and one of the pizzas I ordered was swimming in olive oil—completely indigestible. It's the first time in my life I've ever thrown away a pizza! Perhaps you'll be lucky enough to get one on a day when the pizza maker is actually doing a good job, or perhaps not. I'm taking more of a risk. Avoid it. I don't recommend it.

24/04/2026: The place to be in Annecy! What a pleasure to take a break in THE historic tea room of the city… and not in one of those (too) many concept cafes. I highly recommend a bowl of hot chocolate accompanied by one of those little chocolates sprinkled with coconut!

24/04/2026: Fantastic experience! The staff were incredibly attentive, smiling, and welcoming! Great location, lovely terrace, and a very good small menu. A truly chic and cozy tea room. Thank you!

03/01/2026: We ordered two lamb couscous dishes and were very disappointed. The semolina wasn't fresh; it had a slightly off taste. There were very few vegetables, and we asked for more sauce twice because the couscous was too dry. We spoke to the waiter to tell him the semolina wasn't good, and he told us it was fresh. As an apology, he offered us a glass of mint tea. The prices are too high for the quality.

26/12/2025: There are still restaurants where the food is cooked with love, generosity, and quality. Served with a smile and great discretion. What a joy to have discovered this restaurant by chance. I highly recommend you try it.

11/05/2026: Wowowowowoow! Get the McRib, I beg of you! You may not have heard of it but there’s this awesome burger/sandwich/ribexplosion called the McRib on the menu here in Chamonix and it’s incredible! I asked the staff about the quality of the meat. Straight A5 wagyu. Softer than a babies bum and tastier than her mom!

11/05/2026: Worst McDonald's in France! 🇫🇷 I've never seen so much stress among the staff and in the service. No sauce, no toy in the kids' meal! When we went to ask for the sauces we'd paid for, they only gave us one! What a joke! 😡🤬 Avoid it! You're better off going to the patio; you'll be served much faster.

24/04/2026: We visited during the off-season, so there were far fewer services available. But overall, we were very satisfied. The person we met at breakfast was very friendly and smiling. The room was nice. The spa was a nice bonus.

04/04/2026: Had an absolute fab time here with a couple of my mates. All staff were amazing and very attentive. Would recommend and will be returning next year. 👏🏼👏🏼

30/01/2026: A tip for restaurant owners: keep your schedule up to date and don't brush people off on the phone 🤦🏻‍♂️, especially when they're calling to order a table. A star to encourage you.

30/01/2026: To book, yes, that's perfectly possible. For 4 people, including 2 children. At that point, the manager's face hardened, and she said in an unfriendly tone, no, that's not possible. As long as you don't have children with you, it might be okay... No Kids, like at the SNCF (French National Railways)?

12/03/2026: To celebrate some good news with my colleagues, we went back to the Saint-Charles. The waitress recognized me and criticized the review I'd left after my last visit: "5 euros for 10 cl of rosé is highway robbery and outrageous... I asked the owner for an explanation, who told me that was the normal serving 🤔 This brasserie should be boycotted, plus they spoke to me like I was an idiot 😔" She was verbally condescending, unpleasant, and sarcastic... When you're a business owner or employee, you have to know how to accept criticism and be respectful to the customer: that's the foundation of being a professional, something this young lady clearly doesn't understand. If she reads this post, know, Mademoiselle, that your opinion is worthless to me, and don't forget that without customers, there's no business. You have to accept criticism when it's justified. A true professional would have reacted the opposite way.

30/01/2026: Simply the best tacos ever! Warm welcome, nice and clean place to eat in, and above all, generous portions of tacos with plenty of sauce. A bottle of cold water was brought to our table and the staff was very friendly! I highly recommend it, and I'll definitely be back as soon as I get the chance.
