14/08/2025: We stayed at this hotel with our children and grandchildren. We stayed in Apartment No. 2. This apartment is designed to accommodate up to 10 people. There's really only one bedroom upstairs. There are two not-quite-separate areas with two sofa beds. Downstairs, behind the living room area, there's an alcove. It's stifling. In this living room area, there's another sofa bed. The skylights in the bedrooms don't have built-in blinds. This is extremely annoying in the morning during the height of summer. It's equally annoying because they prevent the sun from letting heat into the apartment. There's only one bathroom with a toilet. There's no separate toilet for the bathroom, given the number of people this apartment can accommodate. I don't think that's a good idea. The shower head is completely clogged with limescale. In fact, the other faucets are too. Our children arrived before us. They told us the cleaning wasn't great. I realized this very quickly upon our arrival. The front door handle wasn't tightened properly. Both screws were ready to fall off. The stovetop, the cupboard above it, and the microwave are in a pitiful state. In the cutlery drawer, there's a tea towel. It's in a more than shameful state. You have to wonder if it's clean. The bathroom is just as pitiful. The door is no longer white. It has no lock. The door latch is ripped off. The front of what looks like a drawer under the sink is ripped off. In the kitchen-dining area, some chairs are in a terrible state. One table is extremely dangerous. Under the top, there are lag screws in the corners to reinforce the legs. These lag screws protrude dangerously. They have been casually camouflaged with wine bottle corks. We don't understand at all how this type of accommodation can still be rented and be called an "aparthotel." We don't understand how this type of establishment can accommodate guests. There is a real lack of professionalism. No checks are carried out between each tenant. These checks could and should be done during the cleaning operation. For us, this is a real disgrace. We will never return to this place. A place to avoid absolutely.

18/07/2025: The apartment was clean and perfectly tidy upon our arrival. The welcome was friendly and welcoming, and they were available when we had questions. We stayed for two days. Nothing to complain about. We are very surprised by the many negative comments, which, based on our experience, seem excessive and unjustified. All the best to La Ferme de Lucien, and see you soon!

27/08/2024: An aperitif that took 20 minutes arrived and two pizzas 40 minutes later while the restaurant was not crowded... the service time leaves much to be desired despite the kindness of the waitress.

29/01/2026: Restaurant IDEAL is far from ideal. Sausage and mashed potatoes worthy of a fast-food joint, at an astronomical price. Dirty toilets. Haughty and disdainful management. Only the terrace and its view would justify a photo stop. A meal to avoid.

13/10/2025: A disaster with two children: The order process is chaotic: I ordered three different drinks, but the wrong one was brought to me. We asked for perch fillets for one child (children's menu) and some nuggets for the second child, who is one year old. The order arrived, but we only got nuggets; the perch fillets never arrived. A beef tartare was ordered (no request regarding seasoning), and the perch fillets were brought. It's rare that we don't tip. I think it would be good for the restaurant: - to slow down and provide higher quality service. - to make the terrace non-smoking during the 12:00-14:00 hours (being next to fireplaces with two children during a meal is unthinkable in 2025).

06/10/2025: Know that looking in the trash cans is especially revealing about the cuisine of a neighborhood restaurant or other, even worth fries are not fresh as you say, let's be serious, don't you believe it?

23/09/2025: A good little neighborhood spot that does the job. The daily special at €14 is a bit pricey for what's on the plate; for example, the black pudding, at the price it costs, could be served with 50% more without affecting profitability. A shame, because we'd make it a more regular stop.

16/01/2026: I was delighted to stay at the Chamois d'Or; the staff and atmosphere in this hotel are very welcoming.

27/12/2025: I feel compelled to share my particularly dangerous experience with a driver of one of your establishment's vehicles! It happened at 12:20 PM on the A40 motorway. She didn't hesitate to veer into the oncoming lane at 80 km/h, while cars were approaching at 130 km/h less than 50 meters behind her. Myself and other road users had to brake suddenly, even slam on the brakes, to avoid an accident. I think you should be more careful about who you entrust with company vehicles, as this could ultimately tarnish the image of your hotel. Furthermore, I hope the driver will reflect on her actions and realize the danger she poses to herself and other road users. Such behavior on the motorway is unacceptable; I truly thought I was going to have an accident, and I'm convinced that, unfortunately, it will end that way.

24/09/2024: Quite unpleasant, we were made to change places 3 times in the same evening, waitress (tall, long, blond hair) who made comments, we were changed places at the same time as we were taking an order, we didn't get the time to finish it that the waitress leaves and brings us a glass of water even though we absolutely did not ask for water… We ask her if we could have 2 coffees and she answers us (you couldn't ask me before)!!! Knowing that we didn't even have time to say a word. It's still a nice place to spend some time with friends, but the waitress should review her professionalism!!!

21/09/2024: Good restaurant and beautiful terrace on the outskirts of Annecy on a beautiful, quiet square. Fast service, hearty meal and friendly team!

10/04/2025: Black salad, soft and cardboardy fries, dry and tasteless Cantonese rice, sushi with tasteless salmon, dubious prawns and steamed ravioli, etc…. 23 euros for a menu that's simply a steal... move on unless you want a bottled coke...

07/09/2025: I've been to many refuges. And this one, for its team, its very warm welcome, and the best food I've ever tasted in a refuge, breaks all records. We easily forget the lack of water. Congratulations to you for this optimal management. Thanks to the team, good luck for the end of the season and looking forward to the next one!

22/08/2025: Accustomed to the concept of refuge, for this one I am forced to note that its unmissable location and its exclusive aspect in the area could not justify the price paid for a damp night in a tent, a meal worthy of those from our stove, a dry toilet with a pile of poop on the pee area, and habitat mainly for flies. The surroundings are littered with toilet paper. The only interest: we did not carry the tent. The refuge is overbooked, which explains this. The café should reflect on the situation, because the taste for adventure has its limits for the seasoned hiker.
