20/03/2026: A very pleasant stay. Excellent welcome and service. They were very responsive and kind to our requests. Very comfortable bed and a lovely room layout. The best part was the large terrace overlooking the lake. The hotel is ideally located. We would recommend it.

14/03/2026: A lovely little hotel in a fantastic location right on the lake. Very friendly staff and a great restaurant – with a large terrace and bar when the weather is nice. We had a corner room on the first floor with a large balcony, a beautiful view of the lake, and a fairly large bathroom. Everything was clean and bright. The hotel is ideal for exploring Annecy and the lake.

20/03/2026: Excellent pizzas. The Mayan pizza was absolutely delicious. Very welcoming staff.

03/01/2026: Extremely thin, overcooked pastry, industrial-tasting filling, served in the cardboard packaging with cardboard cups. The dining room was very poorly heated. I do not recommend it.

29/06/2025: The beef steaks with chanterelle sauce were very good. In addition, the view of Lake Geneva and the fresh air made the heatwave very bearable.

22/06/2025: After a short hike, this is the perfect place to stop. The food is excellent, with specialties like the nettle tart and the homemade ice cream. The view of the lake is splendid! The service was a bit slow, even though there weren't many people in the restaurant.

28/02/2026: Thank you for the service. The daily menu was varied and high-quality, and at €21, it's a real bargain compared to others. The children's menu at €12 was a big hit with my kids. The meals are homemade by a chef who uses fresh ingredients. And the draft beer is good!

02/02/2026: Superb! For lovers of Chinese food, we'll definitely be back. We rediscovered the tastes, the flavors, and the memories. The restaurant's entrance is modest, but the interior is much more comfortable and beautifully decorated. This restaurant represents a high-end experience in China. I don't really want to comment on the negative reviews and the low Google rating, but still, they made us miss this otherwise remarkable restaurant the first time around. These comments were probably left by people whose reference points are French Asian restaurants, often run by non-Chinese people. To get back to basics, our menu for two: - pork dumplings, - stir-fried noodles with vegetables, - hot pot of spicy braised eggplant with pork, - stir-fried cabbage in Szechuan sauce, - salt and pepper pork ribs, - crispy duck, - two small glasses of wine, - Taiwanese green tea (excellent) Everything was excellent, once again a taste of China, specifically Shanghai, the hometown of the restaurant owners (my son spoke with them in Chinese 😁). Attentive and efficient service. We'll be back!!

22/10/2025: We had lunch this afternoon, nothing to complain about, everything was great. The people were friendly, the setting was great, and the food was very well served. We'll be back. I recommend this place 👍👍

11/09/2025: Friendly waitress and nice salads, but fried fishes & veggie burger were tough to point of being almost inedible. Agree with other post about apparently overcooked (dark) chips, which at the same time seemed undercooked - possibly the worst frites I’ve had in France! Strange response from owner. I changed main course because it was due to be fried fishes, which had been my partner’s very poor starter & was relieved the last minute change was possible. I would suggest that instead of criticisng every negative review, they learn from the process & improve! Also, might be a good idea to ask why somebody has not eaten most of their meal.

14/09/2025: A small, typical restaurant away from the hustle and bustle of the city... a very friendly welcome, delicious and generous dishes. I'll happily return. If you're passing through Samoëns, don't hesitate... take the time to stop for lunch, you won't be disappointed.

09/03/2026: The perch fillets were great, the fries were good, but not the ideal place for fillets. €200 for 4 people, a good, attentive, and helpful waiter, the manager barely acknowledged them. No big deal.

03/03/2026: A warm welcome is essential in any establishment, but this owner, who was disrespectful, clearly lacked that quality. I strongly advise against going there.

22/02/2026: We stopped by Le Privilege every night we were in Chamonix. Amazing food, burger and frog legs (!) were fantastic and I had the best Old Fashioned I had on the trip, not to mention the other specialty drinks that rocked. Live entertainment at happy hour created a great atmosphere. Our group was 10 Americans from 16 to 55 and we all loved Le Privilege. 10/10 would recommend.

04/01/2026: The atmosphere is cozy quaint lovely alps style, service is excellent, food and drinks delicious, awesome music, and will be back again, and again. Highly recommend, even as an ambivert I totally felt “at home” here!

23/02/2026: Nice bar/restaurant (daily lunch menu, crêpe snacks, sandwiches). We didn't try the food, but the other customers seemed satisfied. We had drinks; the service was impeccable and quick. The prices were more than reasonable. Plus, there's a lovely terrace in the pedestrian zone.
