26/08/2026: Arriving at 8:30 pm one summer evening, we politely asked for a crêpe for dessert. We were told it wouldn't be possible because they don't make crêpes in the summer (despite the sign on the storefront indicating they do). All this while being judged and looked down upon, even though tourism is what sustains the village. A shame.

22/08/2026: A mixed experience at La Bérangère for the last restaurant of our stay, after a fantastic experience at another restaurant in the resort earlier in the week. We appreciated the attentive service of the two young waiters and the warm welcome for our group of eight. The biggest disappointment was the food, with portions that were truly tiny for a mountain restaurant. My 10-year-old son ordered the roasted Camembert, and the cheese looked more like Rocamadour than Camembert! Children's menus are sometimes more generous. I ordered fondue served with salad and an extra portion of charcuterie. The result: three small leaves and five or six small slices of sausage, ham, and other cured meats. And a rather bland taste. Probably a lot of Emmental and not enough Beaufort or Comté. My companion and I finished the fondue with a few pieces of bread. Ladies and gentlemen in the kitchen, please be more generous with the portions!

28/08/2026: We ate there twice during our holiday in St Gervais, we were warmly welcomed by a very friendly waitress, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal (fresh ingredients)! The setting is beautiful both on the terrace and inside!

30/03/2026: We stumbled across this absolute gem while on holiday in Le Grand-Bornand and it was a highlight of our trip. The food was fantastic and the pizza in particular was top quality, complemented perfectly by the lovely and welcoming service we received. We were surprised to learn that this was actually their final day under the current ownership, which is a real shame given the high standard they have maintained. We truly enjoyed our meal and want to wish the team all the very best for the future.

20/09/2026: Eight of us at a table, each ordering different dishes, including one special dish. Everything was excellent, and the service was exceptional. We will definitely return someday when we're passing through this region.

18/08/2026: I've been enjoying Bollywood for years. The staff is always incredibly welcoming and the food is always delicious. It's by far the best Indian restaurant I know. It's always a pleasure to treat yourself to Bollywood because you know you're going to eat well! Whether you order takeout or dine in, the staff always gives a warm welcome and everything is always perfect.

19/06/2026: An exceptional place in the heart of the mountains where we spent about twenty days. The comfort, the peace and quiet, and especially the warm welcome from the whole family there make you feel right at home. And I haven't even mentioned the chef, R, who delighted us with his meals during our stay, and above all, his smile and constant concern for our well-being. A huge thank you to everyone and to our ray of sunshine 😊

05/09/2026: A really lovely time! We were greeted with a smile by Juju, and although we were in a hurry, we were able to eat our main course and dessert in 40 minutes. The doughnuts were really good, and so were the desserts. Everything was great for this meal!

30/08/2026: A breath of fresh air at the village café Le Billiat: a warm welcome, full of good cheer! The place is perfect for a break, with a terrace offering magnificent mountain views. You can also settle in with a board game to extend the moment. Highly recommended!

09/08/2026: We went twice in the afternoon to have a drink. The person who served us was very unfriendly and unpleasant, simply telling us, "I don't take credit cards." Not a smile. Furthermore, this person clearly doesn't like dogs, judging by their behavior. Avoid this place!

05/08/2026: Fresh, local, homemade products, excellent charcuterie and cheeses, a magnificent view, and honey sold directly by the owners. A place definitely worth a visit!

16/08/2026: A restaurant to avoid: industrial, vacuum-packed food—completely tasteless.

13/08/2026: Ive never ever encountered a place that refuses to serve drinks despite having a terrace with deck chairs (empty)with drinks tables and live music. The owner is literally refusing free money because he isn’t capable of pouring a 20 second glass of wine, his excuse ? ‘We are a restaurant and not a bar’ no wonder he has so many comments about his terrible management.

26/07/2026: I popped in briefly to grab two pastries for dessert this evening and couldn't resist the vanilla pecan tartlet. It was amazing! ♡ I'm dying to come back to Annecy to have another one and confirm this 'oumami' of pastry... a delight! On top of that, the staff were so friendly! Please don't stop making this dessert, I'll be back in the winter!!!
