Cold welcome and not at all friendly.
Extremely long service, at least 45 minutes between the aperitif and the fondue.
The fondue was white and foamy, the bread was fresh... not great for a fondue... and when we asked for more bread to continue eating the fondue, the owner told us that people were eating too much bread and went to help out in a nearby restaurant… with excellent fresh bread….
Ideal candidate for “nightmare in the kitchen”

08/09/2024: The boss does not hesitate to round up the bill by adding a dish not ordered.. A well-known practice especially with tourist customers but we always get caught.
29/08/2024: Excellent meal (gambas and risotto and lean steak) that we recommend 1000 times. Perfect service too.

16/09/2024: Beautiful architecture in an excellwnt location in Chamonix, by the river, but painted a terrible pink color, not fitting the style. Snotty staff, overpriced menu.

09/08/2024: Superb bakery with the owner who is very friendly. We are Canadian and we were visiting from August 6 to 8 and it was a very nice discovery. I asked about my daughter's allergies and the owner reassured me. My daughter told me that the pain au chocolat and croissants were even better than in Paris.
I recommend this place for the quality of the products and the friendliness of the owner who is worthy of mention

29/08/2024: I can understand the tourist rip-off thing. €14 for 2 cappuccinos and 2 croissants?? This is outrageous. However, the coffee was good and so was the croissant.

30/07/2024: Clean but dated room, and unfortunately too noisy because one facade of the hotel overlooks the road. Uncomfortable in high heat.
25/07/2024: Friendly little hotel, very clean with pleasant rooms. Correct and sufficient buffet breakfast. Good value for money for simple accommodation. The rooms are pleasant. The following does not directly concern the hotel, but the town of Saint Gervais. The hotel did not offer evening meals at the time we were there, so we resorted to local restaurants and it was a real culinary desert. No small, simple, traditional restaurant, pizzas and burgers are waging a merciless battle to win the junk food war. In the end, almost every evening, we went to the Indian restaurant Taj Mahal just opposite the hotel which alone is able to serve traditional cuisine... from its country of course..

19/02/2024: Service is at the bar, we tried to order a coffee and a mint at 2 p.m. We have already waited a good ten minutes because the three people who manage the service are drowning in a glass of water and are not capable of managing the bar and the room. When ordering, they tell me, no, not right away, I'll take care of the catering first. It’s true that a coffee and a mint in water will take 20 minutes. I told him, however, that I would have to be served before 2:30 p.m. because there is ski lesson. They told me: oh no, it’s impossible.
Well fuck off!
If you are not made for service, and you do not like this job, change jobs.
To avoid completely!

Les nems aux légumes étaient acides. ( Manque de fraîcheur? ) 😠Raviolis aux crevettes... 😠. Spaghetti aux légumes...😠.
Par contre le poisson pané était un régal et de bonne fraîcheur.😋
J'ai l'impression que ce n'est que de l'industriel. Je n'ai pas fini les plats de peur de tomber malade.

01/11/2023: A very good place to eat healthy and balanced. Everything is good and beautiful, and what's better than a good little soup in winter and hearty salads in summer. On site or to take away for those in a hurry.
27/10/2023: Too bad it's good but I strongly reviewed your menu, a menu without drinks is exaggerated then I find it looks like a bakery... stay at correct prices... and I also think you will attract more customers and don't hesitate to add sauce for a certain dish or bagel too bad.. and didn't tell me that its homemade is like everywhere now.. a lot of things to review its bad then the waitress does not offer us to eat on site directly she leaves The bag for me and my partner felt too much even though there was room. Came today at 2 p.m. I am disappointed. I think people don't dare to tell the truth because some people must be appreciated in this store.
