04/07/2025: Due to various factors impacting our trip we ate here a few times as it was the only place open on Sunday. The staff are excellent and very welcoming. Every meal we had here, steak, fish, pizza was very good….that is why we kept going back! If you are staying in any of the nearby hotels I highly recommend this little restaurant.

02/07/2025: At L’ETNA restaurant the quality of the food and wine is excellent all round. The Staff are friendly and hard working and you will remember them after a visit or two. Rim has a very warm personality, makes you feel at home and almost knows what you like from once you arrive. We can recommend this restaurant highly and it is definitely not the type of place you would expect to stumble upon in this particular area. We will always come back to this little gem. 08/11/2025: I absolutely loved Papa Rotti! The setting is simply magnificent: a stylish, modern, and welcoming decor that immediately puts you at ease. The service is impeccable. The staff and owners are lovely, attentive, and incredibly kind. You can really tell they love their work and are dedicated to making their customers happy. As for the food, it's flawless! The dishes are delicious, prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Special mention goes to the pizzas; they are truly incredible and undoubtedly among the best in Boulogne. The cleanliness, the service, the atmosphere: everything is perfect. I highly recommend Papa Rotti to anyone looking for an excellent Italian restaurant in Boulogne, whether for a romantic dinner, a meal with friends, or a family gathering.

I'm already scheduled to arrive at 9:30 p.m. I wait until 9:50 p.m. There's no goodwill gesture, no complimentary drinks, and they don't accept credit cards or holiday vouchers, which is a bit annoying in 2025 (especially since I had specified this when I ordered by phone). The only positive point is that the pizzas were good.

30/11/2025: Sorry, but I ate a pizza with undercooked ribs. It's supposed to be goat cheese, honey, and cream-based, but you're giving me a tomato base? Tomato doesn't work with honey. Go figure. Anyway, your 14.50 pizza had no taste.

27/11/2025: The only thing here that's Italian is the sixties music playing on repeat. The rest? I would have been better off ordering from Picard; at least you know the quality. When they brought me my Milanese veal cutlet, it practically drowned in all the water on my plate. The tomato sauce looked like it came straight from the local wholesaler's jar. I asked for mayonnaise: they don't make sauce! First time I've ever heard that one. Plus, there's a whole page on the menu listing what the chef is willing to do or not. Want to change your pizza? Impossible, except to remove the mushrooms. Thanks to those with allergies who can now rest easy. At this lost Italian restaurant in Cluny, what a beautiful death for an ingredient they can't remove because it's too much to ask on a pizza. We wonder why people go to restaurants less often? Here's part of the answer.

04/12/2025: A place to avoid. No menu, just three dishes listed on a board. No pizzas advertised. Pasta dishes average €20... The owner pushes you to order bottled wine without mentioning the price. The owner's wife doesn't smile... A gloomy place that caters to the occasional airport customer. It's depressing. €80 for two pasta dishes, half a carafe of wine, and two tiramisus, all without a receipt... Several other restaurants in the area...

02/12/2025: Very, very good pizza, real Italians, you don't have to be in a hurry but it's worth it

09/09/2025: Since the pizza kiosk changed owners, we have ordered pizzas there twice. The pizzas themselves are okay, although some are burnt on the edges. However, they no longer accept the previous owner's loyalty card, which is understandable, even if it is frustrating. Now, for their new loyalty system, you have to tear off the stamped card inside the flap of the pizza lid, but even if you have ten of these stamps, the seller told us that they all have to come from pizzas purchased the day before (even though the date is not indicated on the stamps). The seller also explained to us that they give away €8,000 worth of free pizzas every month. We did not understand how they can give away so many free pizzas per month, especially if their loyalty system is so restrictive. We are very disappointed and we will not go to this pizzeria again.

07/01/2026: Horrible, inedible, I strongly advise against it. It smells just like the disgusting meals in nursing homes. Too bad I don't have a picture of my garbage bag anymore.

23/12/2025: Great welcome, very friendly and welcoming. The fresh pasta and sauces are always so good, and the secret of the carbonara sauce remains well-kept. I highly recommend it.

28/08/2025: The food is excellent, there's no doubt about it. However, the service was a little too fast; we hadn't finished our starter before the main course was served. So, we ended up at a small table for two, sharing the starter, a small plate, and the two main courses. That was the only thing we had a problem with.

25/09/2025: What can I say? A small restaurant in the heart of a tiny French village. Very friendly service. Two small tables available on a quiet street. Traffic around 8 p.m. wasn't a problem. The pizza is unique but distinctive. Plenty of toppings and reasonably priced. Takeout is available. A full range of drinks are available, including white and red wine.

20/12/2025: A very authentic atmosphere. The pizzas have a very thin and crispy crust, reminiscent of a famelkuche. But you feel a bit like you're in Southern Italy…

03/12/2025: High-quality pizzas. The crust is crispy and rather thin, which might surprise some, but it has the advantage of making it very digestible and showcasing the quality ingredients on top. My favorite was the Ronzetti, which introduced me to Neapolitan sausage and smoked scamorza cheese.
