I personally had a burrata salad with lots of Parma ham, very generously filled, and frankly, I was completely full; it was delicious. The place was very calm and relaxing. I recommend it 100%.

02/09/2026: I really love Le Chastel. My mother and I first went there two decades ago when we first got into town and stumbled in after a long drive. As is true today, the service we received was exceptional. Lots of laughs, smiles and joy. I've been going to Chastel regularly ever since. It offers some great people watching, while still being off the main thoroughfare. I don't think the guide books highlight this spot, but I absolutely recommend it.

20/08/2026: A great find! The two young guys behind the stoves at the pizza place welcome you with a smile. At the bar, the smiles are just as warm. I enjoyed some delicious infused rums: pear and cinnamon, or fig, walnut, and anise, while waiting for my pizzas to be prepared. They arrived on time, and I took them home where we enjoyed a delicious family meal: LA SOMONIFIQUE and LA DÉLICE DE CÂPRES. See you next year! Damien

19/08/2026: That evening, when we confirmed our order, we were told in an irritated tone, "Well, yes, that's what you asked for, so that's what I'm doing!" Except the price quoted didn't match the price displayed: it jumped from €4.15 to €5.30 for one item. Instead of apologizing, the waitress removed the price tag, claiming her colleagues had used the wrong label that morning (even though it was the correct product name), and then snapped at us, "It's still €5.30!" before we could even ask anything. This is false advertising, and the business owner must honor the displayed price. Especially given the disrespectful way we were treated.

14/09/2026: The fish soup was very good – the sea bass fillet too – the stuffed mussels had a bit too much cheese. In previous meals with Madame Anne, there were more herbs and a little less cheese. Otherwise, everything was impeccable.
