05/04/2026: We ate very well; the ribs and the pistachio half-cooked meat were delicious.

28/03/2026: Good evening, We just came from the sensory awakening. We had gone to get a milkshake and a crepe. The problem is that the cook at "My Crepe" made a mistake with our order. My cousin, who has allergies, discreetly told him it was a Snickers milkshake when we had ordered a Bueno. The cook wasn't happy about being told he'd made a mistake, so he spoke to us with such disrespect, in a raised voice, because he didn't accept the remark. He ended up taking back the two milkshakes and came back 5 minutes later. He told my cousin to taste them, and she was perplexed. She ended up tasting them again, but she didn't notice any difference, or very little, and at that point, he swore he hadn't changed the milkshakes and that we were liars. It's shameful, even unacceptable, that this cook disrespected us in this way. I sincerely hope this cook will be punished. A huge thank you to the manager of the "Awakening of the Senses" restaurant who intervened, was kind, and offered a refund, which we, of course, refused. We weren't asking for a refund, but for the right to respect!

27/09/2026: The service was decent, could be better, but not bad. We were a very large group, so it wasn't easy either. The wines are expensive, in my opinion, for the location. As for the food, well, 80% of the guests didn't enjoy their meal at all. The pasta arrabbiata and the truffle pasta were good. The rest was just okay. The owners are friendly.

01/07/2026: There's a big party (school prom?) happening at the chateau this evening. I would expect a hotel to notify its guests of such an event. I have a long travel day tomorrow and was expecting an early night (especially being mid-week).

24/04/2026: A very beautiful and charming hotel. It's a real treat to be able to work remotely from their garden overlooking the lake. The rooms are lovely and very comfortable. The only improvement worth noting is that they don't have a dinner menu; they might suggest what they have available at the time.

12/09/2026: What a wonderful surprise for my 60th birthday, organized by my daughter! ❤️ The evening was simply extraordinary! The meal was delicious, and the welcome was warm and friendly. A huge thank you to the MC, who created a fantastic atmosphere with his smile, good humor, and energy. I danced, laughed, enjoyed every moment, and above all, I spent an evening filled with happiness, surrounded by the people I love. I truly couldn't have dreamed of a better way to celebrate my 60th birthday. This wonderful moment will remain etched in my heart forever. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️ to my daughter. Thank you also to the entire team who contributed to making this evening so beautiful; you did much more than organize a party, you created a memory that I will cherish in my heart ❤️

01/07/2026: The Laughing Pig, open for 20 years, and it's easy to see why. A rare restaurant in Flanders where everything is perfect: good food, a great atmosphere, and excellent value for money. I had a wonderful evening for a hen/stag do. DJ Hubert introduced us to his team of servers—a rare thing these days in a restaurant—so we knew who was taking care of our table, which was really nice. He also introduced us to the other guests' tables, where social barriers melted away and we all became friends for the evening. Music videos, current hits, and timeless classics... it was hard to choose between dancing and eating! 😅 The meal was hearty and well-presented, with quality meat. No complaints about the food or the service, even though it was quite a challenge to navigate the dance floor and deal with the complaints of the dissatisfied, but the smiles were always there! Our newlyweds left with stars in their eyes. Thank you, Laughing Pig. I recommend it.

09/09/2026: The service was incredibly slow: 25 minutes to place the order and 1 hour 35 minutes to be served... Luckily, the head waiter, Tiago, was there to help the servers. However, I ordered lobster, but they were out of it; oysters, they were out of it; I asked for crab, but they refused because it was an extra charge—unacceptable! The calamari was good, but the mussel sauces were uninteresting (there were 10 of us).

09/09/2026: Disappointing experience. The cocktail was three-quarters ice, which is unacceptable considering the price. The fried snacks meant for sharing were so-so. The staff was impersonal and the atmosphere unwelcoming. The value for money needs improvement.

07/08/2026: The setting isn't necessarily the most charming, but the welcome is warm, the food is good and tasty (which is what counts), and the prices are reasonable. Don't miss it!

31/07/2026: Stopped for lunch on a long drive and was very pleased. Small local place, very simple inside but the lady owner was very welcoming and helpful, the food was excellent, and very reasonable prices. Would happily stop again if passing.

25/08/2026: A very nice restaurant with a truly well-stocked all-you-can-eat buffet. 🍣🥢 The food is fresh, especially the fish and shellfish, with a wide variety to suit everyone's taste. The staff is very discreet and the atmosphere is pleasant, with a perfectly acceptable noise level. The restrooms are also clean. There's a play area for children, which is a real plus for families. 👧🧒 The prices are reasonable for the quality and selection offered. A very good experience, I highly recommend it! 😊

25/08/2026: For my first time at Panda, I wasn't disappointed. Overall, the food was good, even better than some other restaurants offering similar dishes. Unfortunately, the staff wasn't very friendly or particularly welcoming. The buffet was quite well-stocked, with a good selection. The prices were also reasonable, both at lunchtime and in the evening. Overall, the establishment was clean and pleasant.

20/09/2026: A wonderfully friendly and welcoming restaurant where you feel right at home. The food is just like the restaurant itself: friendly and thoughtful. We'll definitely be back.

15/09/2026: It's always a pleasure to return to this restaurant! First, the impeccable and warm welcome, the attentive service, right down to the ready-made water bowl for the dog upon arrival, and the perfect pace—neither too fast nor too slow despite the number of customers—a testament to the establishment's quality. Above all, a feast for the eyes, nose, and palate from beginning to end. Special mention goes to the foie gras, where all the flavors mingled harmoniously: the richness of the foie gras, the sweetness of the brioche so delicious it was almost too small, the perfect balance of sweet and acidic chutney, the spiciness of the radish, the bitterness of the sprouts and chicory, and finally, the discovery of the caper, its acidity counterbalancing the richness of the foie gras. A marvel! The chicken transported us to another world, with its ideal and spicy seasoning. The trout was equally succulent. The dessert, with all the sweet flavors of the North, was a truly memorable experience! Discoveries and comforting tastes abounded! A huge congratulations to Olivier, the chef, and the entire team! Even the recommended mocktail was excellent. One of the best restaurants in the region! See you soon!

04/06/2026: We booked a restaurant at 12:30. Received a confirmation. We were late for 20 min (driving from another country). The restaurant and the hotel were completely closed.

10/05/2026: We spent one night at this hotel, and it was a really great experience right next to the festival. The rooms are quiet, comfortable, and clean, and the managers are very welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend it.

30/08/2026: Very good place, good beers, nice scene, our man was a little angry, but all 120 of us paid separately so thats okay, sorry man 🥺

29/08/2026: We went out this Saturday, it had been a long time. We arrived at Set Bar. An evening was underway, the atmosphere seemed nice. We ordered food: an aperitif, which took a very long time to be served, and a charcuterie board, which took even longer. A second aperitif, which took 40 minutes to arrive. Around 10:20 PM (we arrived at 8 PM), we flagged down a waitress because we still hadn't ordered, and the restaurant was getting crowded. The response: the cook finished at 10 PM! But we've been here for 2 hours and 20 minutes! So, we left without eating. The two waitresses were overwhelmed, and the managers were more concerned with taking photos of the evening than anything else. I do not recommend it.

01/08/2026: A humble Japanese restaurant with good quality food. Nothing fancy, but exactly what you'd expect from a decent Japanese meal at a reasonable price. Close to Lille Flandres train station, they offer takeout for the train. The set menu is under €15 (I ordered the €4 option in the photo). I was served in 5 minutes. The atmosphere is calm and pleasant, and the staff is courteous and helpful. I recommend it.

30/06/2026: Avoid at all costs. The cutlery was absolutely filthy and had to be replaced. The spritz wasn't really a spritz. The fish and chips were questionable. Those who give more than one star clearly didn't go to the same place I did. The owner at the reception is very friendly. I wish his cooking had been as good.

26/08/2026: What a pleasure to work here! I have one day a week of work in Lille, and I spend it in your offices without hesitation. The few negative reviews on Google are, in my opinion, unjustified: the staff is very pleasant and attentive, and the explanations about how the place works are very clear. As for the drinks and food you offer, everything is delicious and served directly to the table. Well done, a very pleasant place to work, which I will definitely return to :)
