27/07/2026: I loved coming to Papaye several times. It's a real hidden gem in the city center! The food is delicious, the service is incredibly friendly, and the prices are reasonable. You leave the restaurant feeling full and with a smile on your face!

20/09/2026: The best pastry shop in Dunkirk, with the option to eat in. 'Les Doigts de Jean Bart' and 'Les Manchons' are their specialties. Positive point: they use fish gelatin in their pastries. September 2026 Update: Disappointment! Where has the standard of Les Doigts de Jean Bart gone? The staff didn't greet us and didn't even respond to our greeting, even though we had greeted the team cheerfully. When I had the misfortune to point this out, the person denied it and lied to me, clearly more concerned with cleaning up than attending to customers. We used to go there regularly. It's a real shame to see the staff lose their friendliness and, above all, their politeness. So we left without ordering anything, because there's no way we're giving our money to an establishment that lacks basic manners.

27/09/2026: We stopped by for a drink this afternoon and were amazed by the warm welcome from Amélia. She was a friendly, approachable waitress who was very attentive to our needs. I will definitely be back with my grandmother.

03/06/2026: A very good hotel. The rooms were quiet and well-equipped despite the busy road next to the hotel. The restaurant offered simple but very good value dishes. The breakfast was varied. There was parking nearby and it was secure. But the real highlight of this hotel is the reception staff: always attentive, available, and cheerful despite the time and the number of guests. Highly recommended!

21/07/2026: I went there only once, on July 21st during the funfair. I had mussels, which were okay, but the fries made my gums hurt. Even the people I was with found them too hard and very dry. We didn't like them at all. Maybe they'll try a different oil.

01/10/2026: Good fast food, we all know the McDonald's chain. There are good and bad moments, that's fast food for you. But there's also the service! Some people have a real knack for making your experience enjoyable. I especially want to thank this lady who greets us at the drive-thru with a big smile and always has a kind word for the children. Thank you, it's always a pleasure to see you!! 😁
