13/12/2025: A real surprise! While passing through to see the Lego exhibition, we stopped at this brasserie. I tasted my family's dishes, and we thoroughly enjoyed them. My husband had the marinated kebab: a real treat. My son had the Texan platter, with flavorful meat, and I had the homemade fish and chips with a very good homemade tartar sauce. Luckily, I didn't check the bill before eating because the 3.9/5 rating is undeserved. I'd say it deserves a 4.5/5.
Just to clarify, we ate in the brasserie section, not the takeaway chip shop.
30/11/2025: We celebrated my grandson's 8th birthday with his brothers, aged 6 and 2. The children were warmly welcomed and looked after throughout the meal. The children's menus are generous and offer plenty of choices! And speaking of the adults... we enjoyed our meals, which were delicious, hearty, and beautifully presented. You can tell that all the staff want to make their customers happy.
I highly recommend this restaurant, which may not look like much from the outside, but is very welcoming inside. Go check it out, you won't regret it! 💚

05/12/2024: Dans la pénombre d'une fin de journée d'automne, cette maison dégage une atmosphère qui ne laisse pas indifférent. Jolie attention portée aux accords mets-vins bien troussés. Thon rouge généreusement servi, mais un petit peu indigeste. Lieu qui donne envie de revenir. Service affable.

it’s the Chinese restaurant par excellence, the one that takes you back to your teenage memories.
It’s a place that hasn’t changed, with its slightly vintage decor but so authentic.
The food is simple, delicious, and affordable.
We come here to enjoy ourselves without breaking the bank, like we did every Saturday when we were younger.
This restaurant is a real throwback, in the good sense of the word.
If you are looking for a place where you will find those flavors that marked your youth, this is the place to go.

Planche à partager copieuse.
Burger bien gourmand, suprême de poulet au maroilles délicieux et paleron de bœuf tendre.
Les desserts étaient tout aussi gourmand et bon.

28/07/2024: Cadre très agréable en campagne d'Halluin. Très belle terrasse ombragée dans la cour carrée de la ferme, coin fumeur séparé sous tonnelle (initiative suffisamment rare pour mériter d'être soulignée), parking facilement accessible.
Carte des boissons classique aux tarifs accessibles. Carte des plats où le fait maison à la part belle. C'est là où le bât blesse.
Sur 7 convives, 3 Carbonnades sans gras mais viande seche et insipide au possible (inacceptable pour un estaminet), 1 poulet Maroilles avec une sauce très allongée, 2 Lasagnes épinard ricotta correctes et 1 pavé de Rumsteack qui sauve l'honneur. Le tout accompagné de frites sans saveur.
Sans parler des Virgin Moritos servis à base de sirop de menthe (sic)....
Nous n'avons osé prendre de desserts.
Le service tente de faire ce qu'il peut et est de bonne volonté.

21/09/2024: Very nice discovery of this Lille pizzeria which stands out for the finesse of its dishes, the quality of the products used (predominantly fresh and organic) and a contemporary decor. We had calzonne pizzas and we really enjoyed it! The dough is divinely supple, crispy and soft and the filling is hearty. We will come back with pleasure!
