12/12/2024: I gave this dinner to my cousin for her birthday. From the moment we arrived, the kind and warm welcome laid the foundations for a memorable evening. The place, with its few tables, offers an intimate atmosphere conducive to culinary discovery. Knowing little about the world of wine, the sommelier was able to guide me with finesse to choose a wine that perfectly suited my tastes. We then opted for a menu in five sequences, which turned out to be true culinary poetry. Each dish offered delicate flavors and perfectly harmonious combinations, and as promised, they accompanied our choice of wine ideally. Mr. François-Xavier was available and kind to answer all our questions, while Madame the sommelier showed great patience and kindness in the face of our lack of knowledge in oenology. We particularly appreciated the delicate attention paid to my cousin's birthday: a beautiful chocolate plaque with the inscription “Happy Birthday,” which she was able to take away as a souvenir of this exceptional evening. Thanks to this fine team, we had an exceptional time as a family. I recommend this unique experience without hesitation. The phrase that best illustrates this evening is: “A sweet amusement park for the taste buds. » For people wishing to stop by the bar before dinner, I strongly advise you to also make a reservation, as it is often crowded. 24/10/2025: A very good experience today. We came here somewhat by chance and were a little skeptical after seeing Turkish specialties with picky children. But we were pleasantly surprised. The ravioli were very good and filling. The children loved the kefta. The gentleman is very pleasant.

28/01/2026: No hesitation at all!! A charming little spot, just steps from La Doua. The father, mother, and daughter prepare delicious, comforting dishes and desserts, all entirely homemade!! 😋 Mmmhhh... it smells amazing as soon as you walk in!! The place is small and cozy, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere, just like at Auntie and Uncle's house 😊. A very pleasant lunch break 🤗. You can also (especially) get takeout (bring your own container or not). Lunchtime's wide selection: - Pork meatballs in tomato sauce - Flemish beef stew - Oven-roasted lamb - Lemon-crusted salmon fillet - Penne pasta - Garlic squash gratin - Potato gratin - Spinach - Green beans - Cabbage with bacon - Sautéed button mushrooms - Pear and almond tart - Chocolate pear tart - Caramelized apple tart - Brookie - Apples 🍎

06/02/2026: We had a wonderful week at Black Diamond. Communication with the owner was excellent and fast. We were two families (12 people in total) and stayed in the beautiful and charming apartments The Penthouse and Faisan. There was also plenty of room for everyone to eat together in the Faisan apartment. You can ski right up to the apartment, and in the morning, you can walk (a short hill) to the ski lift. Vicky & Dani were on-site, and we could reach them all week with any questions. At the end of the day, a quick text message and 45 minutes later the sauna was on. And after skiing, we enjoyed a relaxing bubble bath in the jacuzzi. The groceries were already there when we arrived on the first day (you can order them online at Super U in Bourg-Sainte-Maurice; pick-up costs €50). And every day they brought fresh bread, croissants, and cappuccinos. A real treat!

05/02/2026: Had a fantastic stay here with my partner – highly recommend. Top-quality accommodation with stunning views, and brilliant concierge service from Dani and Vicky. I was in the spa most days (hot tubs and massages were a real treat!), and being able to ski right back to the terrace is such a bonus. Would definitely return!
