It did unfortunately became terribly “French” 🫪 where ppl drink wine and have no idea about what a pub is: not just about drinking but also about ordering/ chatting/ sitting rituals of a pub !

10/10/2026: Here, French cuisine is showcased at its finest. Only the highest quality ingredients are used in each course of the menu, with particular emphasis placed on the presentation of each dish, as we all know that we eat with our eyes. The sequence of courses is also carefully considered. It goes without saying that such a menu comes at a price, but it is absolutely worth it. You dine here in a pleasant atmosphere and experience friendly and professional service.

An affordable price: Contrary to what one might expect from a tourist site perched high in the mountains, the establishment offers a simple menu and affordable prices to suit all budgets (including local dishes and snacks).

10/08/2026: A superb find! This charming restaurant in La Ferté-Saint-Cyr is a real gem. You're greeted by the owner, who immediately puts you at ease. You can choose to have lunch or dinner in the indoor or outdoor seating area, with smoking and non-smoking options available. The atmosphere is tranquil and shaded, and the menu offers a choice of dishes, just like home cooking—excellent! Everything is homemade, from the high-quality starters with generous portions to the superb meats and perfect fish, accompanied by fresh vegetables and, of course, fries. There's also a selection of particularly good local wines. Everything is cooked by the owner, who also prepares delicious desserts (homemade tart, homemade fries, homemade herbal tea, etc.). I highly recommend it, but a word of advice: "BOOK IN ADVANCE," they're full every day...

20/08/2026: We came for lunch and were pleasantly surprised to discover the vegan brunch! Special mention to the waiter with the slight accent who was absolutely lovely 🥹

12/08/2026: The place has a lovely rustic decor. The girls are very kind and you can tell they really care about making you feel good. I had excellent fish and chips with a good draft beer. I loved it and came back the next day to repeat the experience. The manager is also very kind and friendly, and we started singing 😄 in French and English. Greetings from Messina (Sicily) 👋

26/09/2026: A wonderful evening on the terrace at the end of September. Perfect service. We had snails and foie gras as starters, followed by a beuchelle and veal, and then soufflé and brioche for dessert. A harmonious and delicate meal.

03/09/2026: Beautiful hidden gem. A golf restaurant where everyone’s welcome, with an incredible view over the forest and a wonderfully calm atmosphere. The food was original and genuinely excellent: carpaccio de saumon, épaule de porc & purée de carottes au cumin, followed by a crumble pomme-kiwi. And the wine was perfectly chosen to go with it. Great food, great setting, very fair prices. Dining quest successfully completed.

27/09/2026: I don't even know where to begin… To put it simply: a cook who goes off for a cigarette or stays in the restroom with a colleague during the lunch rush, an order forgotten while, strangely enough, several people who arrived after me were served before me… And when I pointed it out, I was told that these things were “beyond their control.” And as for the order… The fries were way overcooked, with no seasoning whatsoever. And the sandwich, it's a good thing I tried to open it to add more sauce, because I discovered that the ground beef was still quite pink in the middle. How can they serve that? And don't even get me started on the hour-long wait for a takeout order… In short, a very bad experience. I won't be going back.
