14/07/2026: L’Auberge Fleurie lives up to its name. Nestled in a charming little village, between two valleys, this delightful establishment is truly worth a visit. We had lunch there on a public holiday, opting for the set menu (starter, main course, and dessert), and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The dishes were as beautiful as they were delicious: a great deal of creativity in the presentation, expertly prepared ingredients, and wonderful flavors. The service was impeccable, friendly, and attentive. The only slight drawback: the apricot coulis accompanying the apricot charlotte could have used a touch more sweetness, especially since the dessert itself was quite dry. But this is a minor detail that doesn't detract from the overall quality of the meal. A truly wonderful place that I recommend without hesitation. We will gladly return.

The welcome was warm and the service pleasant throughout. The atmosphere is calm and inviting, perfect for a delightful experience. We highly recommend this restaurant!

01/08/2026: A good restaurant in Angoulême with a lovely setting. The meal was good overall. One minor drawback: I found the menu wasn't detailed enough, particularly regarding the burger and the steak tartare, in which I thought I recognized mango, which wasn't listed on the menu.

25/07/2026: Lovely place, we had generous salads, an excellent vegetarian burger, and a very good steak tartare. The staff is delightful. The restaurant accepts holiday vouchers, a definite plus!

14/06/2026: Good food, but be warned: if you're a large group and want to split the bill, the waitress might suddenly become irritable and make some rather unpleasant remarks about your financial situation. Just enough to ruin all the poker face she's worked so hard to maintain throughout the evening. We'll come back when we're all incredibly rich ;)

09/06/2026: Absolutely wonderful meal, the restaurant has beautiful decor, lovely (also beautiful) relaxed attentive staff and most importantly unbelievably quality understated food. I had a lobster with pasta which is the best one I've ever had - lobster was tender pasta was good to perfection.

10/08/2026: We went to eat aioli, it was amazing, a real treat. We brought our children and our little girl who loved it. Congratulations to the chef and the whole team.

07/08/2026: Go for it! The best aioli in Provence is absolutely delicious and honestly reasonably priced compared to other places on the coast. As if that weren't enough... the owner, Cecil, is a sweetheart, a lovely, helpful, and approachable woman. It's a must-try in Le Lavandou. 10/10

11/08/2026: We always have such wonderful times at this restaurant, located in the peaceful countryside by a swimming pool. The food is delicious, the seasoning is perfect (this is rare in most restaurants, where the salad is often unseasoned and sometimes wilted; here, it's perfect!). The prices are reasonable, the menu offers something for everyone, and the service is welcoming and attentive. We return often with great pleasure!

08/08/2026: We were disappointed when we discovered this small restaurant. The enticing offer of a small, unpretentious inn, promising good, homemade products at very reasonable prices in a pleasant setting, was appealing. During our visit, we found the cuisine very simple, decent for some dishes (which is what you'd expect for a €23 weekday lunch menu), but with some major flaws. The steak tartare was clearly not hand-cut and therefore had a rather unpleasant, blended texture. The seasoning was practically nonexistent (a shame for a tartare...). The presentation was outdated, with a pile of small side dishes, drizzles of balsamic vinegar, and tiny green salads. The dessert (a sort of chocolate entremet) arrived completely misshapen. But the biggest problem was the service! It felt utterly amateurish, despite the friendly manner. A few examples... We asked our waitress what was in the non-alcoholic cocktail on the menu, and her response was: "I don't know, I don't like it, I don't drink alcohol, so I don't know!" We were speechless... We asked her about the draft beer; she had no idea what it was but didn't bother to find out any more than she had about the mocktail. The latter turned out to be nothing more than a simple mix of orange juice and grenadine... When it came time for dessert, the waitress couldn't tell us anything about the dishes to help us choose. A little review of the menu would be helpful to guide diners during their meal. In short, feeling at home can be nice when dining out, but don't forget the minimum level of professionalism required to welcome customers...

16/05/2026: I was just passing through and the place really appealed to me. I wanted to try it out and frankly, I'm very happy. I was served by a waitress named Claire; she was very friendly and pleasant. I highly recommend her, great place!!

02/08/2026: The owner is very friendly. The restaurant offers delicious food at very reasonable prices. A set menu of starter, main course, and dessert costs €18.90, and drinks are also very affordable. Peanuts and walnuts are offered as an aperitif. A restaurant worth discovering, with a lovely view of the harbor.

10/07/2026: Extremely disappointing and unacceptable. The service was mediocre and sloppy, clearly because I was in work clothes. This blatant discrimination has no place in the restaurant industry. To top it all off, we were served cold coffee, without sugar or a spoon, and the tiramisu was completely tasteless. It's a shame; customer service is clearly not up to the standards of this establishment. I absolutely do not recommend it.

06/07/2026: My experience was ruined by a cashier error… We had booked for 7 people for my birthday (all-you-can-drink wine package for €50). After the meal, the first guests to leave paid for their packages and mine (a birthday gift). The last guests then left the restaurant and paid for their packages… they were told that one package remained to be paid for (mine)… As a result, my package was paid for twice. Once I understood the mistake, I contacted the restaurant, who asked me to write an email to support my claim, which I did. To date, I have received no response or solution offered…

30/07/2026: We had a wonderful time at Roza! The welcome was exceptional: the owners are incredibly kind, always smiling, attentive, and truly take the time to care for their customers. You immediately feel right at home. The food is delicious, and the warm atmosphere makes the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place, both for the quality of the dishes and for the genuine hospitality that makes all the difference. We will definitely be back! Reservations are a must, it's highly recommended! Zen Chef is there to help with that too ☺️

29/07/2026: We had lunch today and it was very good and plentiful. The waiters and waitresses were friendly. The only slight drawback was the way the sun was managed on the terrace. Some of our colleagues had the sun at their backs.

27/07/2026: Lunch with friends. The staff were welcoming, smiling, and attentive, providing impeccable, discreet service with a thoughtful touch. The table was spotless, and the daily menu offered a choice of two courses (starter and main, or two courses and dessert, or starter, main, and dessert) at competitive prices. The cuisine was excellent, beautifully presented, with generous portions and top-quality fresh ingredients. It was truly homemade, and you were given time to savor the meal before your dishes were brought to you and you could finish your coffee! A nice bonus was having lunch on the terrace overlooking the Seine. We had a wonderful time. Auberge du Halage is truly a place to eat, a restaurant worthy of a Michelin star. A must for food lovers: don't miss it!
