01/11/2024: Seul resto ouvert ! Plats à emporter possibles : burger/frites et dessert. Super bon, produits locaux, accueil au top, chaleureux. Merci encore !

20/10/2024: Ouvert en Hors saison, quand tout est fermé autour. La planche duo en guise d'apero à ravi les papilles des fans de fromage. Pour la suite nous avons été plus classique avec nos entrecôtes. Cuisson respectée, sauce béarnaise, c'est du local. Merci pour cet accueil chaleureux, les conseils sur les artisans du coin. La mascotte à 4 pattes nous a bien amusé.. Leur intérieur est plus grand que ce que vous apercevez par la fenêtre...la déco participe à l'ambiance chalet montagnard. Mon dessert a la châtaigne était léger et parfait. Merci. Adresse à garder.

30/11/2024: Not a huge fan of truck stops, but this one is definitely worth the detour! Kindness and unfailing good humor. Good and generous dishes, the peanut butter tiramisu, killer.... Well I didn't get my poutine but I promise I won't blame them! Small bonus, the decorative canvases are superb and for sale, quite happy with my purchase actually. In short, I really hope to come back to the area to have my poutine and taste the other desserts!

12/12/2024: I gave this dinner to my cousin for her birthday. From the moment we arrived, the kind and warm welcome laid the foundations for a memorable evening. The place, with its few tables, offers an intimate atmosphere conducive to culinary discovery. Knowing little about the world of wine, the sommelier was able to guide me with finesse to choose a wine that perfectly suited my tastes. We then opted for a menu in five sequences, which turned out to be true culinary poetry. Each dish offered delicate flavors and perfectly harmonious combinations, and as promised, they accompanied our choice of wine ideally. Mr. François-Xavier was available and kind to answer all our questions, while Madame the sommelier showed great patience and kindness in the face of our lack of knowledge in oenology. We particularly appreciated the delicate attention paid to my cousin's birthday: a beautiful chocolate plaque with the inscription “Happy Birthday,” which she was able to take away as a souvenir of this exceptional evening. Thanks to this fine team, we had an exceptional time as a family. I recommend this unique experience without hesitation. The phrase that best illustrates this evening is: “A sweet amusement park for the taste buds. » For people wishing to stop by the bar before dinner, I strongly advise you to also make a reservation, as it is often crowded. I would like to warmly thank everyone in the kitchen and in the dining room who made this delicious journey possible. Amina. B

08/11/2024: A pure treat! The kind of restaurant with a flawless approach. Very original cuisine with high quality ingredients. A real delight, impeccable service, all in a very pleasant setting in a village alley. I highly recommend.

08/09/2024: Repas du midi à deux, le cadre et le local sont un peu en-dessous de ce que devrait proposer un restaurant qui se veut dans cette tranche de prix (85€ à deux, menu entrée/plat/dessert sans alcool) La cuisine : excellente et qualitative, 90% des produits viennent des environs et c'est très bien. Les plats sont beaux et bons (dos de cabillaud et tempura de legumes, cheesecake de legumes et crevetes et fondant au chocolat), les desserts sont d'ailleurs massifs. Bref on y mange très bien ! Le service : beaucoup d'incompréhensions avce le serveur quand nous l'avons questionné sur les plats mais très gentil et souriant. Attention, ça a traîné un peu en longueur pour prendre notre commande et servir les premiers plats L'ambiance : dommage que ce soit ce local que vous ayez pour votre cuisine, il est petit et c'était assez bruyant le jour de notre repas. S'il vous plaît, enlevez la table à l'entrée ce n'est pas du tout agréable d'être dans le passage des va-et-vient Restaurant de qualité qui gagnerait à être dans un endroit un peu plus grand ou qui devrait refaire le plan de table et la salle car il y a matière à en faire une très belle adresse !

12/08/2024: The owner (who we disturbed enjoying a brief break between the end of his prep and the start of service) managed to accomodate us at no notice, and we are so glad that he did! The food was simply amazing (we had the pig's trotters/ scallops to start and both opted for the truffled chicken, as part of the brilliant value fixed-price menu (which also included a cheese course and desert, as well as an amuse bouche). This was the final meal of our holiday, having eaten at various places in France, Germany, Italy and Switzerland and it was by far the best. The waiting staff were helpful and just-the-right-amount of attentive. As a small chef-owned place, the quality and care shine through. We'll be back the next time we are in Metz, don't miss the chance if you're planning to be there!

03/09/2024: Kindly welcomed, I chose to be in the room comfortably seated facing the Hérault in a really pleasant setting Surprises served while waiting for dishes preferably chosen according to the advice of the day, everything was a pleasure for the eyes (presentation, layout, colors, etc.) a delight in the mouth (aromas, multiple flavors, light crispness, meltingly soft...) A DISCOVERY Which I highly recommend to gourmets with my sincere thanks to the entire “Ô GRAIN DE SEL” team
