13/10/2026: Loyal customer, but after an error in my Deliveroo order, which I reported for the first time, the gentleman blocked me instead of simply correcting it. Thanks for this lovely reward for loyalty. From now on, I'll be ordering from Anatole or Ersin: the food is a thousand times better.

13/10/2026: Great find! George's kebab is a delightful surprise: the touch of goat cheese and honey adds a real bonus. The size is perfect, generous but not excessive. It's truly delicious, creamy, not spicy but with real character. The place is cozy and welcoming, and the owner is fantastic, clearly focused on personal interaction. An excellent experience, I highly recommend it.

10/08/2026: Probably one of the first pubs in Bordeaux, if not the very first. I knew it from the beginning; it's where I discovered traditional darts and Guinness. Three changes of ownership since Martin. After a period of neglect, darts made a strong comeback. We created the Dartistes Associés there, the first club, then a departmental committee, and finally a league. What remains of it all? I don't know. But great memories and friends.

30/09/2026: Best kebab ever! Everything is homemade, you can really taste the quality and flavor. The meat is super tasty, well-seasoned, the ingredients are fresh, and the portions are generous. The service is also very friendly. A truly great place, I highly recommend it! 🔥

16/07/2026: I first visited Caviar Kaspia in 2023 and I have been wanting to bring my husband and son ever since. We finally got the chance to go in June. Fantastic service. Incredible experience. We started with the baked potato to share and we each had the salmon pasta, the bottarga pasta and the medallions of brittany lobser with french beans. All were so flavourful and fresh. For dessert, we shared the baba with vodka and the pavlova. The rose vodka was absolutely delectable. A truly memorable meal - I look forward to the next time.

06/10/2026: The mussels were very good and well-prepared, especially the one with garlic and herbs. The two-pot option is also very appealing for those who like variety. However, one pot of mussels with Roquefort cheese was far too watery and contained very little Roquefort. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our waitress, Maryline, who provided excellent service and a warm welcome.

23/09/2026: The food was very good, especially the pig's ears in salad and their octopus. I feel there's been a drop in quality. That's why I'm removing two stars.

05/09/2026: Passing through Clermont, and being of Portuguese origin, we stopped at this restaurant which was full... we were told to wait between 20 and 30 minutes... after a 25-minute wait, they politely informed us that the restaurant was no longer serving food! Great! Especially with a child who has a motor disability... appalling. If you're looking for the warm welcome and friendliness of Portugal, look elsewhere. Absolutely no respect for customers.

09/09/2026: A family visit to this Alsatian restaurant, with its lovely, traditional decor. It was a Thursday evening, so it wasn't very busy and therefore not noisy. The waitress and waiter were very pleasant and attentive. The meals were very generous and we thoroughly enjoyed them. The prices are average, but the generous portions are much appreciated! A great find.

16/09/2026: Discovered by chance during our stroll. Drawn in by the facade decorated with giant teddy bears, the red color of the furniture, and then by the enticing menu. Afternoon tea menu: one hot or cold drink and a crepe = 4 euros. We were immediately greeted by an extremely pleasant young woman, exceptionally professional, who never lost her smile and good humor despite the crowd. Thank you for everything, it was delicious!

14/09/2026: Excellent service with a touch of humor. And very good local cider! Plus, a beautiful location right by the port of St. Goustan.

21/05/2026: Cheval Rouge Restaurant - This was great. We finished visiting Chateau Villandry, and had a 1 hour drive ahead to Saumur. As we headed out of town, we realized it might be nice to eat here before we continue. It was a rainy and blustery day, so let's stop. We were not disappointed. A nice, quiet stop. The food was just what we wanted. Since arriving in France, seems every place is serving "tourist" portions, meaning more than we can eat to the detriment of quality. Cheval Rouge was just the right amount with the wonderful French flavors. Service was quiet and efficient. A good decision to stop here. Try the Lamb stew.

18/05/2026: Old room, hair dryer not working, renovation badly needed. As for the positives - it was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was alright.
