10/08/2026: The foie gras was heavenly and my Sole was perfection. Desert was an original rich chocolat dish, but not heavy, just right. The wine choice perfection. Somehow they found out it was my birthday and showed up with a little cake and candle (we can not figure out how they knew). It was a lovely little surprise. They are so warm and friendly. I am not a tourist, I live an 8 minutes walk away, yet it was my first visit to La Véranda... I was waiting for someone to invite me.

18/06/2026: Great bar! Wide selection of drinks, from cocktails and beers to soft drinks, there's something for everyone. The atmosphere is fantastic, friendly and lively without being too noisy. The staff is friendly and quick to serve. Perfect for a great night out with friends. Highly recommended!

04/07/2026: A magnificent, typically Portuguese restaurant, just the way I like it. A warm welcome and attentive service. A family atmosphere. And the menu, oh my goodness, everything I love! 01/08/2026: We were there on a Friday evening, had a reservation, and got a lovely table on the terrace right by the canal. The two female servers were very friendly. However, we had a male server who seemed very stressed and was curt. We had to wait a very long time for him to come to us; we felt unwelcome and that he really didn't take any time for us. When we asked for a non-alcoholic aperitif, we were quickly offered a Coke. The food tasted good, but the veal was unfortunately extremely tough, and the chicken was only lukewarm. We had to wait quite a while for our food. With better service and organization, this could become a good fine dining establishment.

01/08/2026: unfortunately our male waiter did not care for us - which kind of ruined what could have been a very nice dinner right next to Lauch river. When asked if there was a non alcoholic aperitif (god forbid my pregnant wife wants to toast with me) his tone got really condescending and he said "you can have cola zero"?? food was hit and miss. starters were good, but my veal was completely overcooked. for my taste there was way too much garlic in every dish. fortunately there are better options in colmar.

16/05/2026: Every time I come to Plan de la Tour, I'm delighted to enjoy a delicious pizza from Pierrot's. They're made with quality ingredients, generously topped, and cooked in a wood-fired oven—magnificent! I highly recommend it, especially since the owners are super friendly. Sorry, no photo 📷.

04/05/2026: After the fourth rib steak, the cut deteriorated significantly, with a huge bone visible on the third and fourth occasions. I must also mention the disgusting frozen matchstick fries. Homemade fries are much better elsewhere. Beware of the takeaway pizzas; they infuriated me. My neighbor had one at his table that was supposed to be a pizza, but it was very wobbly in the box. When I opened it, I found a pizza barely bigger than a dessert plate. I felt insulted, and despite having paid for it, I angrily abandoned it on a high chair. They shamelessly rip you off. I advise everyone against going to L'Olivier. Go somewhere else, even to the neighbor's place, which is renowned for its pizzas. L'Olivier is absolutely to be avoided.
