14/02/2026: We had a wonderful time. Friendly staff. Excellent food except for the crème brûlée, which we found too small. I recommend it. Great selection. There were nine of us, and we were all delighted.

13/02/2026: After reading the reviews, I was a little worried, but in the end, for a first visit, I wasn't disappointed at all. The waitress was very friendly and took the time to answer questions. I think we'll come back to try the menu twice as much. Very satisfied overall.

11/11/2025: We chose the set menu for €23, which consisted of veal stew, coffee, and a glass of sparkling water or wine. The stew was good, let's be honest, but the pieces of veal were... how shall I put it... few and far between, good but few! So, do the math... a glass of wine (bag-in-box), rice, three small pieces of veal, and a coffee for €23... it's not a bargain. It will depend on your appetite. You be the judge!

25/02/2026: I discovered the place when I went to vote at the Consulate. I searched on Google and decided on "La Belote." It was full, but since it was almost closing time, there were tables available. I loved the cod, the dessert, and I'd been missing a good coffee. The waitress is a sweetheart, always available.

14/02/2026: During a get-together with friends, we each ordered a crispy chicken from your establishment for delivery. The product was very good. However, several of us experienced symptoms in the hours that followed (significant digestive issues), suggesting a problem related to the meal we consumed. This experience was particularly unpleasant and leads us to question the preparation and storage conditions of your products.

01/03/2026: Very disappointed!!! Many items were out of stock. We went to the store because a product was listed as available, but the stock was incorrect. I ordered and paid €40 for delivery, only for my installer to tell me the box was damaged. When I opened it, the furniture was also damaged, and they offered me a €30 discount! This is the third time that every time I order, there's a problem. Each time, I either have to return the item or they send a courier. In short, don't get your order delivered by IKEA. The store employees are really unfriendly, except for the man in the secondhand section. We had previously cancelled a €10,000 order, and now I understand why. When we indicated that we wanted to buy the entire bedroom set on display, they told us to take a picture and they would give it to us at the bottom. We told him we wanted the furniture, the decor, everything. Basically, figure it out yourself! No big deal, we'll go elsewhere... In short, disappointed, disappointed, disappointed. We will finish our apartments with another brand.

30/06/2025: We ate lunch here on a six day cycle tour of Cherbourg peninsula. Best lunch spot of the trip. Great, limited menu covering all the bases. Home cooked food with a real rural French feel. We would DEFINITELY include this stop if we pass again. Either for lunch, dinner or an overnight stop. We did not see the rooms. Suspect charming and clean if anything like the restaurant. ☺️

21/06/2025: Great family hotel 100m from the abbey. Excellent welcome, very clean room, very good restaurant for a moderate price. The owner is very attentive to ensure a very pleasant stay. Highly recommended.

28/02/2026: As a huge fan of Liège waffles, I couldn't pass up this highly anticipated shop. I first tried a waffle with cinnamon batter, chocolate sticks, and chestnut cream, but I found the combination a bit too sweet, so I went back to try a more "traditional" waffle (classic batter and chocolate sticks). The verdict? The price is extremely high for waffles that are decent, but definitely not the best I've ever had. They weren't very caramelized and were a bit dry in the areas where there was only batter. It was fun to try because of the hype, but I won't be going back every weekend.

01/09/2025: Run away, it's real Worst Tacos of my life!!! if you can call it a "taco". I took XXL and ended up with a torn sausage with pieces of cold cheese sauce without taste so no real cheese and in the middle mixed with salad 🤮 3 small pieces of marinated chicken and fries drowned in the minced meat just to say that they put chicken no seasoning really bland and yet I didn't eat all day! No welcome exaggerated prices for what they do, plus it was your second chance, a word of advice change jobs it's not for you

01/11/2025: The village kebab shop is a true institution! Always a warm welcome, fast service, and above all, delicious sandwiches. Quality, quantity, and good cheer are always guaranteed. Well done to the whole team!

20/02/2026: Terrible experience, unpleasant atmosphere. Meat and fries were too salty. The sofa was covered in cat hair. It's best not to have allergies. Check the prices before ordering. The owner is very moody! One day he loves you, the next he hates you. In short, avoid this place.

The sandwiches are excellent, I always get the kebab which I love, the ingredients are fresh, everything is made with love and generosity, the service is exceptional, and the value for money is unbeatable! You don't just come here to stuff yourself; you also come for the wonderful moments spent with the owner and his adorable little rascal—two lovely and endearing characters! 🤍
