21/03/2026: Betty says: no kitchen here, just tapas. But that modesty doesn't do justice to how delicious they are. Judge for yourself from the photos. They're a treat! They're generous! They're made with quality ingredients! Beyond these deceptively simple tapas, the place is warm and welcoming. Like home, it's an institution in the 20th arrondissement where you always meet new people because the owner's spirit is just as open as all her guests.

04/01/2026: We were very disappointed. Upon arrival, we asked if it was possible to turn up the heat. We were told no, and in a rather unpleasant manner. Two people were eating wearing hats, and we had to put our coats back on to finish our meal. There were no hand dryers in the restrooms; we had to ask for them. Again, the answer was positive, but not friendly. Not a word of apology (it happens!). The young waitress was very friendly, which was not the case for the other waitress (the manager?). The meat was tough, the fries were soggy and overcooked (reheated?). Some of the potatoes in the morbiflette were undercooked. We didn't dare say anything because we were embarrassed for our friend from Autun who had accompanied us and recommended this restaurant. The pizza, however, was very good. The apple tart was very average (store-bought?). We do not recommend this establishment. It's a shame for the young waitress who was doing her best to make up for it! The setting is very pretty, though.

10/05/2026: Very good traditional food, we celebrated our son's birthday and everything was perfect, the owners, the staff, the service and everything was super good, I recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

23/03/2026: A simple restaurant with a €16.50 set menu (main course and starter) and Portuguese specialties. The drinks are overpriced. So we just had a kir for €4, which was served in small flutes. The starters were decent. The main course was shepherd's pie. The mashed potatoes were good, topped with large mushrooms in an unfamiliar meat sauce. A bit disappointed, as this restaurant was very good a few years ago.

21/05/2026: I came specifically to eat at this kebab shop, but unfortunately, I was disappointed with the taste—it wasn't great! It was just like all the other kebab shops! Or even worse than others! In fact, I almost threw up after eating it.

17/05/2026: I tried the red kebab; the meat was excellent, and the portion of fries was very generous. The only downside is that if you order raw vegetables, the oil and water mixture might drip a little. It lived up to its reputation!

28/03/2026: A very bad experience at this restaurant. The meat seemed defrosted and not fresh, with a questionable taste. The kebabs were rubbery, and the bulgur was overcooked and sticky. The salad was also inedible. The hygiene is very worrying: there was dust everywhere, which is extremely unsettling. I do not recommend this establishment.

23/08/2025: La Guinguette on the banks of the Tarn (early August): €25 for a platter with cheese and charcuterie from the supermarket - I won't be going back! A million miles from artisanal tapas.

02/06/2026: A really dreary restaurant, the wait for a table was far too long, and my sole was just so-so. Very disappointed; Pedra Alta has gone downhill.

01/06/2026: Good evening, an experience not to be repeated at this Pedra Alta. They were clearly understaffed to handle the very large number of customers. There was a mistake with the orders between the two dining rooms. Children under 10 were served last, even though we had clearly indicated that they should bring their shared dish before the adults', to allow time for aperitifs. The aperitif was missing and never arrived. The mussel dishes smelled bad and were sent back twice, only to be left uneaten and then sent back permanently. We waited almost three hours to be served. Many customers were dissatisfied and complained to the staff, who were powerless to help. We requested that the manager come to our table to explain the situation, but he never came. We asked for bandages for one of the children, and I was told they didn't have any, so I had to go to the hotel next door to ask for them. UNACCEPTABLE and INADMISSIBLE this experience is far from what it was in the past at this same place.

28/05/2026: The food was VERY generous; half a skewer was 450 grams of meat... I had the skewer with meat and prawns. Excellent.

26/05/2026: I was disappointed by my experience at this bar in Le Vésinet. I paid €2.20 for a coffee and felt the price wasn't clear. I find that excessive for a simple coffee, especially without any explanation displayed or announced beforehand. I advise customers to carefully check the prices before ordering.

24/04/2026: I completely agree with some of the reviews: the hygiene was nonexistent, which is essential in a restaurant. The salad was poorly washed because it was crunchy, and I also found a sort of white-black-white hair (like the fur of a tabby cat). They should undergo HACCP training because consuming unwashed or poorly washed salad poses risks (bacteria and other contaminants). Furthermore, when I mentioned it to the cashier, she showed no concern whatsoever. I don't mind eating frozen products, but cleanliness and food hygiene are unacceptable.

19/04/2026: We had a lovely time on the terrace (a beautiful, warm, and sunny day) on a pedestrian street. We enjoyed beautifully presented homemade ice cream sundaes. A carafe of water was included. The service was quick, and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. 😊
