25/06/2025: A huge disappointment for this Gastro restaurant in St Benoît. The setting is pleasant, but the food and service are lacking in rigor and a total lack of creativity, generosity, and friendliness. The opinion this establishment has of itself seems out of step with reality, and I've had much better meals at the brasserie around the corner, run by the same family or relatives. The petty sketch of the cheese platter is a classic and reflects an embarrassing pettiness unsuitable for a restaurant that thinks it's gastronomic or culinary. The atmosphere is cold. The service is tense even obsequious. The two interns were very friendly.

16/12/2024: We regularly come to taste these dishes carefully prepared with fresh market produce. It's always a treat. The efficient and friendly staff exudes a warm atmosphere and the boss always has attention and a friendly word for each table.

11/12/2025: For the first time in 20 years, I left this restaurant disappointed (I ordered sirloin steak, perfectly cooked, but the meat was far too tough—just bad luck? I hope so). Otherwise, the place has just been completely renovated and remains a very pleasant spot by the water... I returned a month later, and everything was back to normal, from the service to the food; everything was perfect that evening... (One mistake in 20 years... that's still reasonable 😉). Until next time... The story continues... After this negative experience in August (the exception), a visit in September and another in December confirm the August exception... EXCELLENT... dishes on the menu change frequently... quality food... impeccable service... very good times spent in this establishment located on the banks of the Marne. See you soon at the VILLA.

26/09/2024: Difficult to add additional compliments, but this lunch yesterday noon was remarkable on all points: quality of welcome and service, extremely kind staff, very friendly setting, divine dishes (really well done to the chef), very good choice of wines by the glass....and very reasonable prices. we really go there with our eyes closed.
