However, this time, a gray-haired gentleman managed to ruin the meal with his exemplary rudeness. Not a smile, our order was taken hastily, in short, we almost felt like we were bothering them. Well done, sir, you've lost two customers. It's a shame because the food served is more than adequate, and the setting is pleasant. When a job no longer suits us, we change careers.

08/12/2025: It was great coming back to the Golden Apple, an old favourite of mine! I think the first time I went there was in 1992. Love the beers (I’m a big fan of La Canaulaise beers!), great vibes, delicious burgers and really friendly staff. I’ll definitely be visiting again soon.

Lack of refinement; the texture of the shrimp in the starter and the lack of caramel on the tarte Tatin were disappointing... And, surprisingly, a toothpick (probably used) accompanied us throughout the meal...

Good welcome Good meal and pleasant staff Only problem error on the addition 2 floating islands billed instead of one. Having already returned to my hotel, I nevertheless informed the restaurant. They kindly offered me to come back the same evening or the next morning... on a Sunday... to repair the error but it was not possible for me. Frédéric the manager asked me to keep the bill and come back the next time I visit. Very professional this Mr. In any case, it’s certain that I would come back, especially to have a good meal again 😉

23/02/2026: A wonderful discovery at the entrance to Riquewihr. Tucked away at the end of a quiet alley, this restaurant offers refined and delicious cuisine, with generous portions and high-quality ingredients. The setting is charming and the building itself is definitely worth a visit. Just one small drawback: it wasn't very warm. We had a very pleasant time and will certainly be back!

05/01/2026: Typical Alsatian atmosphere. The vegetarian menu is very popular, as is the children's dish. The dishes are revisited and balanced, with attention to flavor. Very friendly staff. Centrally located, but slightly out of the way, making it very quiet. Recommended.
