12/04/2026: 1647 is an excellent restaurant nestled at the foot of the mountains at an altitude of 1647 meters. It boasts a stunning location and breathtaking scenery with views of the entire Mont Blanc mountain range. The expansive panoramic terrace offers a truly spectacular view, making it well worth the trip, and where you can dine while enjoying the stunning mountain panorama. We held our son and daughter-in-law's wedding at this establishment. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The service was impeccable. The meal was delicious. The organization was absolutely fantastic! 👍🏽 The DJ was amazing! 🔥 👍🏽 We were able to reserve the entire venue, granting us access to all the services. In short, a dream wedding that will forever be etched in our memories. An unforgettable and memorable moment. Congratulations to the entire team at 1647... a huge thank you, and we look forward to seeing you again... Don't change a thing!

I highly recommend this establishment, a true gem in Châtel—and yet, I've had the opportunity to try many restaurants in the resort.

05/04/2026: We stopped by this small pizzeria on a Sunday at lunchtime without a reservation. We received a warm welcome. It was busy, which is often a good sign. The decor was simple, the menu classic with reasonable prices. The food was good, nothing groundbreaking. A pizzeria like many others...

04/04/2026: Fantastic restaurant in the centre of St Gervais les Bains, which is very family friendly. It was well priced and a kids menu available. We enjoyed antipasti, pizzas, salad, burger and delicious chips. Fresh and simple food, served quickly and a lovely convivial atmosphere in the restaurant. We’d definitely come back.

18/04/2026: An exceptional spot in the heart of the mountains! Refuge Le Petit Tétras offers absolutely magnificent views of the surrounding peaks, in an authentic and peaceful setting. A true haven of tranquility where you can enjoy both the panorama and the warm atmosphere. The cuisine is excellent, prepared exclusively with fresh, local, and carefully selected products. The sourcing is remarkable, with a genuine commitment to showcasing local producers. Special mention also goes to the superb wine list, curated with taste and coherence. A must-visit destination in both summer and winter, where everything comes together: setting, authenticity, quality products, and impeccable service. I highly recommend it!

08/03/2026: We had a very good meal there, the portions were generous. The prices are really very reasonable for the quality and the setting. And the little touch that's always appreciated: the complimentary génépi at the end of the meal!

11/04/2026: What a wonderful discovery! The welcome was as wonderful as the setting, so fantastic. The meal was every bit as good as anything you'd find at a top restaurant, and above all, it was simple and cheerful. So you can go there with your eyes closed, but with your eyes open, it's much better to appreciate it. Thank you!

08/04/2026: I spent one night at the hotel with my two children. The reception was very friendly and accommodating. The room was quite small, but perfectly adequate for one night. Unfortunately, the shower drain wasn't working properly, which made it a bit difficult when three of us wanted to shower together. Perhaps that should be looked into. We had to book breakfast separately, but we knew that from the start. The buffet was ample and good. There was really nothing lacking. The service was also very good. Overall, we were satisfied.

07/04/2026: We had a wonderful time at the Hotel Les Alpgaes. The location is ideal, just steps from the slopes, with the option to walk there. The view is also beautiful. The room had everything you need for a good, quiet night's sleep. Finally, the welcome was excellent.

12/04/2026: Best place at Grands Montets - queue for food can get long (like 30-40 mins) at peak times but that's not really their fault - great location, great food, great vibe.

04/04/2026: Incredible! The terrace is magnificent, with an amazing view. The place is very clean, and the staff is lovely—smiling and efficient. We had a "complete" (a local dish), truly authentic! Afterwards, a DJ played vinyl records on the sunny terrace. I loved this afternoon.

25/04/2026: We were regulars. We went one evening, but the food wasn't the same as usual and wasn't good, it was tasteless. We thought it was odd… We went back a while later and it was the same, not good and tasteless. To be honest, I didn't eat it. They've probably changed chefs, and we really miss them!

25/04/2026: A very good experience at Taj Mahal. The staff is truly excellent: welcoming, smiling, and attentive throughout the meal, which clearly makes all the difference. The food is equally satisfying. The dishes are delicious, well-prepared, and served in generous portions. A reliable restaurant in Saint-Julien-en-Genevois. I highly recommend it.

30/10/2025: Overall, the food is pretty good. However, the prices are high for this type of cuisine. A croziflette made with 50% cream isn't exceptional, and meat cooked to a medium-rare instead of rare isn't ideal either. Regarding the service, there are areas for improvement. Responding with "yes" doesn't give a very professional impression, especially considering the price of the service. Furthermore, the welcome leaves something to be desired: no one seats us, so we have to sit alone. There's no drinks menu, which makes the prices mysterious until the bill. For example, €3.40 for a simple syrup is quite surprising. The atmosphere, however, is limited: only two high tables with chairs that are too small, which isn't very comfortable for eating. The tables are also too small, which further complicates the experience. If the dishes were offered at €10, I would have nothing to complain about, but at that price, it's excessive.

16/04/2026: A good restaurant with friendly and relaxed service. Popular and regional recipes. Good quality ingredients: for example, the quarter wheel of Tomme Blanche cheese. A very pleasant terrace. A joking owner who took our quarter wheel before the end of service, which we appreciated. A must-try stop in La Clusaz.

11/04/2026: A disgrace. A real disappointment. I'd been eating at L'Outa for several years, and I even took some friends there tonight… what a mistake. New ownership, and it's nothing like it used to be. Before, for less than €30, we'd get half a wheel of raclette cheese, a proper charcuterie platter per person, and salad. This time? €29 per person for a tiny eighth of a wheel, a shared salad, and a pseudo-charcuterie platter to share (literally one slice of ham each…). Frankly, it's a disgrace. You can clearly feel the desire to maximize profits off tourists. As a local, I feel insulted. And that's not all: the pint of beer was undrinkable; we didn't even finish it. It tasted like the dregs of a keg. The raclette was bland, almost white like Kiri cheese, with ridiculously small portions. The Caesar salad had absolutely no dressing, and even after asking for more, it was still bad… truly awful. And to top it all off, a friend ordered a steak with sauce… the sauce was literally still frozen. It's sad, really. I sincerely hope they'll take a hard look at themselves and not just ignore my feedback, because that's what they're doing with the money they make off tourists. This doesn't represent the resort or the region. The Outaouais has become a huge disappointment. Wake up.

28/02/2026: Excelent pizza în a great location! I was there during the winter but I bet in the summer is great to sit down and enjoy some pizza with friends. I had la piratella which was expertly cooked!
