05/01/2026: Shawan, the great chef of chefs. An amazing place to eat with friends, family, or even alone. I recommend the naan roll with extra cheese, which is reasonably priced.

31/12/2025: The chicken is wicked!! I swear it's so incredibly good, since 2021 I go at least once a month. I've even cried over the chicken, it was so delicious!!

23/09/2024: Pretty good cocktail but we arrived at 12:05 a.m. the waiter told us after bringing us the aperitif board it would be the only drink (the bar closes at 1 a.m.) at 12:30 a.m. we were pushed to the limit to mop the floor... so average! ! If we had to tell us straight away that it was closed, everyone would have been satisfied.

22/09/2025: The welcome and the terrace are pleasant, but I was very disappointed by the food. I ordered a sole dish with vegetables and fries, and unfortunately the sole was overcooked and lacking in freshness, while the fries were too greasy. For a dish costing over €25, I expected better quality. Too bad, I will not return to this restaurant.

30/01/2026: A typical resort restaurant, with prices in line with the area. The food is decent but nothing special: pizzas, toasted sandwiches, omelets… enough to fill your stomach and refuel after a day in the mountains. Nothing particularly noteworthy in terms of flavor; it does the job but won't leave a lasting culinary impression. The service is a bit slow despite the number of servers present.

17/01/2026: We thought, "Great, this restaurant looks nice," as we walked by... and we weren't disappointed. The waitresses were pleasant and friendly, but unprofessional and inexperienced. The owner was invisible behind the counter. They were out of burgers on a Saturday at 8 pm; it can happen, but it's usually mentioned when you order. The tartiflette was excessively greasy. The andouillette was good, but served with cheap frozen fries. When you go to a restaurant, you expect homemade food... especially at €21 for the andouillette and €23 for the burger... it's simply highway robbery. This kind of restaurant is a tourist trap; it worked on us. So, I'm taking the time to do you a favor and warn you against going there. I mean it. There are so many other restaurants to discover; avoid this place. Forever, the little chimney sweep.

15/08/2025: Great restaurant, top staff, very professional despite a full restaurant, very polite, from meal to dessert nothing to say, everything was excellent. Burger, warm camembert... not too extensive a menu but everyone can find something to their liking. I recommend 100%

21/09/2025: The food is good and the setting is pleasant by the water, but the service leaves something to be desired. We asked for bread, which was only served once our meals were already finished. The same goes for water: after a second request, we were never served. It's a shame because the place is charming, but I don't recommend this restaurant despite its location. Furthermore, the value for money needs to be reviewed.

19/09/2025: A beautiful setting, right on the water's edge, but the tables are greasy and slimy from the fatty dishes served. The hot box for €27 with a bit of charcuterie and two salad leaves, all without potatoes; a disgusting Savoyard crust and an overpriced glass of beer; added to this, the deplorable service makes you not want to return. A scam for naive tourists in search of misguided Savoyard specialties. Dear fellow tourists, move on!

01/01/2026: Very reasonable prices for Flaine. We had a good meal and I recommend the rhubarb crumble.

28/06/2025: What a miserable attitude. Wanted a quick beer because it was 33 degrees and we were hot and tired. We were sent to the non dining tables (fair enough) except the only ones free were in the full heat of the sun. So we asked if we could have our drinks in a shaded area. No. Well can you please put up the umbrellas in the drinking area. No. They are broken. Then we noticed that there were people drinking right where we were talking, in the shade. They overheard and said we’re leaving, have our table. No you can’t said the waiter. They are for diners. Yet it was barely past 6pm and there were no diners. We said we’d be 10 minutes. Nope. Manager’s rule. This place will never see our custom and we cannot recommend it at all. Who knows, we may have enjoyed our drinks and stayed for dinner. Too many other places that have good service and treat people with kindness. Avoid this place.

04/01/2026: The welcome and atmosphere were superb. The Comté cheese fondue was very good. A minor drawback was the desserts, which disappointed us, particularly the blueberry tart. The industrial cream was excessive, making it really not great compared to the delicious shortcrust pastry.

23/01/2026: The service was not at all welcoming; it was as if we were bothering them. No thank you, no carafe of water. No politeness or kindness whatsoever.

01/02/2026: If you saw them in a Wonderbox gift box, be aware that it's a complete scam. They advertise themselves in gift boxes to gain exposure, but every time you want to use your box with them, they say no. We tried three times at three different times of the year. They ask us to wait five days before our travel date to see if there are any openings. There are openings, but they say no. No more bookings possible elsewhere, so our vacation is ruined! Avoid them, judging by the other reviews, in addition to their lack of consideration for a superficial commercial presence in gift boxes.

27/01/2026: We requested a cancellation of our stay due to a pelvic fracture, providing a letter from the hospital if needed, but the gentleman refused to consider it. This was five days before our scheduled arrival. There was absolutely no understanding, no compassion, and no sense of business. We know many people and will certainly be spreading the word. It's a shame that people like this exist.
