26/12/2025: We stopped for a hot drink during a hike; the waitress was very welcoming and the setting was pleasant, with a beautiful view of the gorge and surrounding peaks.

14/03/2026: As for the waitress, she was very friendly and accommodating. Regarding the set menus, I don't recommend the salads; they're very expensive for what they contain. The Bornandine salad has a lot of salad, a little ham, and four fritters (like dauphine potatoes) with Reblochon cheese. It's very dry and therefore heavy. I couldn't finish it. It's definitely not worth 21 euros.

16/02/2026: The value for money isn't great; the €21 salad meal isn't particularly generous. Otherwise, the service and atmosphere are perfectly acceptable.

09/03/2026: Disappointed! To begin with, we had booked several days in advance, yet our table wasn't ready when we arrived. Then, a major disappointment with our dish (a Reblochon cheese): the potatoes were barely warm, and for good reason—our stove broke down (which can happen), making it difficult to eat our cheese, which wouldn't melt. We weren't told anything, and in the end, they replaced the stove, but it was too late; our meal was ruined! Despite this setback, we weren't even offered extra cheese or a coffee, a génépi liqueur... in short, any kind of gesture of goodwill. We were simply told, "You're out of luck..." In short, not cool at all, and very disappointed.

31/12/2025: We had a great meal here after skiing. The sushi was freshly prepared and delicious. We ordered some sashimi, a maki mix, some neige rolls, chicken curry and a Bo Bun dish. Everything was exceptional and we will visit again before we leave to go home.

26/11/2025: We've been here several times and are always warmly welcomed. There's a wide selection of sushi, spring rolls, chicken skewers, etc. The menu is extensive and the prices are very reasonable. The products are fresh and the shop is very clean.

12/03/2026: To celebrate some good news with my colleagues, we went back to the Saint-Charles. The waitress recognized me and criticized the review I'd left after my last visit: "5 euros for 10 cl of rosé is highway robbery and outrageous... I asked the owner for an explanation, who told me that was the normal serving 🤔 This brasserie should be boycotted, plus they spoke to me like I was an idiot 😔" She was verbally condescending, unpleasant, and sarcastic... When you're a business owner or employee, you have to know how to accept criticism and be respectful to the customer: that's the foundation of being a professional, something this young lady clearly doesn't understand. If she reads this post, know, Mademoiselle, that your opinion is worthless to me, and don't forget that without customers, there's no business. You have to accept criticism when it's justified. A true professional would have reacted the opposite way.

29/01/2026: Having a fantastic time with friends... The jazz atmosphere was perfect, showcasing the musicians' talents with magnificent improvisations. I highly recommend it for jazz lovers and anyone who enjoys musical moments – an experience to be enjoyed without moderation 😉.

19/01/2026: Hello La Seiche, you should really review your activities. Karaoke with Nadou is free, but now you're charging for it. Who do you think we are? Next time, don't bother. It's free on the La Seiche website, so please don't charge people. Next time, if we have to pay €6 and it's suddenly €10, that's highway robbery! If this keeps up, we'll have to pay. Well, that's it. Get this through your thick skulls.

11/01/2026: Unfortunately, the pizza was mediocre and of very poor quality. The crust was undercooked, the ingredients were disappointing, and one of the pizzas I ordered was swimming in olive oil—completely indigestible. It's the first time in my life I've ever thrown away a pizza! Perhaps you'll be lucky enough to get one on a day when the pizza maker is actually doing a good job, or perhaps not. I'm taking more of a risk. Avoid it. I don't recommend it.

07/03/2026: We had a wonderful stay at this ski hotel. The setting is magnificent, the rooms are comfortable, and the restaurant is excellent, with a generous and varied breakfast. The staff is truly attentive, responsive, and very helpful. Thank you to Fanny and Cécile at reception for their professionalism and kindness. A huge thank you also to Cécile and Léa, the adorable dog-sitters for our little dog, for their gentleness and kindness. 🐾 Thank you as well to Romaric and Lucas, the mixologists, with whom we discovered cocktails, and to Laura in the dining room, Pauline and Romane, who were lovely, and to the other members of the team whose names I unfortunately don't know, but who all contributed to making our stay so enjoyable. Thanks to you, we were able to enjoy our vacation with complete peace of mind. We leave with wonderful memories. Sophie and Michel Teixeira

04/03/2026: A very lovely family-run hotel with a warm, relaxed, and intimate sporty-chic atmosphere! The restaurant has a magnificent view. The meals are generous, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of high-quality products. Our room was lovely with a magnificent direct view of Mont Blanc (I had initially booked for one person, but I called the day before to bring my husband and baby. We were upgraded, and all the necessary baby equipment was provided, including a little keepsake cuddly toy... a huge thank you, it's a wonderful memory). The staff were very attentive and friendly. The decor is refined and has a mountain ambiance throughout. Free parking is available. The rates are much more reasonable than for the same type of hotel in Megève, even though it's only a few minutes away! We will gladly return with our family.
