19/03/2026: My partner and I ate there this month, and we had a wonderful meal! A typical Savoyard dish, excellent value for money! The decor was typical of the region. I highly recommend it.

09/03/2026: We arrived for lunch. We had to go find someone because no one was attending to the arriving customers. A table had just become available, but we were refused it because we didn't have a reservation. As we were leaving, other people arrived without a reservation and were given the table. Brilliant. Your behavior amounts to refusing to sell. Don't come complaining at the end of the season!

01/03/2026: Very disappointing experience – Nonexistent value for money We spent two nights at this establishment and our experience was very disappointing. The positives: - Location: Just 200m from the village center, it's extremely convenient for getting around on foot. - Parking: An easily accessible outdoor parking lot. - Exterior: The hotel looks good from the outside, with attractive lighting and renovated outdoor spaces that give a good first impression. The negatives (the shock inside): Unfortunately, as soon as you step inside the room, the decor changes. - Outdated and unclean: The rooms are in a terrible state. The carpet is at least 20 years old and completely faded. The furniture is damaged, and the cleanliness leaves much to be desired (the coffee table was literally covered in grime). - Bathroom: Unacceptable. The bathroom fixtures are of very poor quality, and the whole place is a sorry sight. - Safety: The staircase leading to the mezzanine was so steep as to be dangerous, even for an adult, and even more so for children. Breakfast: A disaster. The bare minimum, with pre-packaged, industrial products. It's clear there's no kitchen to prepare anything fresh. Conclusion: The value for money is nonexistent. The prices charged are completely below Megève hotel standards. This establishment is more like a hostel or a low-end two-star hotel than a boutique hotel. Very disappointing.

30/01/2026: To book, yes, that's perfectly possible. For 4 people, including 2 children. At that point, the manager's face hardened, and she said in an unfriendly tone, no, that's not possible. As long as you don't have children with you, it might be okay... No Kids, like at the SNCF (French National Railways)?

30/01/2026: A tip for restaurant owners: keep your schedule up to date and don't brush people off on the phone 🤦🏻‍♂️, especially when they're calling to order a table. A star to encourage you.

08/02/2026: We had lunch at this crêperie to celebrate our 30th birthdays with my partner, and honestly… it was flawless! There were about 30 of us, and managing a reservation wasn't always easy, but the two owners handled everything perfectly: top-notch organization, fast and efficient service, always with a smile and genuine kindness. As for the food, we couldn't complain: the galettes were hearty, generous, and delicious—exactly what we expected (and even more 😋). Thank you for your flexibility, your warm welcome, and your professionalism: you greatly contributed to the success of this important occasion for us. We highly recommend it and will definitely be back!

03/02/2026: Crepes were good, but not very generously filled; you have to add €3 for salad 🥗. The waitress was pleasant, but the gentleman at the bar was not very friendly or smiling.

28/01/2026: Bad reviews are just not true. I met the manager during my visit and had a diner at the restaurant. Both the manager and staff are incredibly polite, attendant and friendly. Yes of course you pay the Megeve prices, you are in Megeve but that's to be expected. The food was incredible and the entire experience was beyond expectations. Thank you. Ignore the bad reviews, these people are just snobs who want to ruin good businesses. I am leaving a one star review because I know you clicked on lowest like me and will see this review this way. But it's actually 5 stars. Now I believe in you to give those 5 stars after your experience. Thomas, thank you for being our waiter last night, you're a wonderful kid with a bright future, enjoy that bottle buddy.

25/02/2026: This place is sooooo bad, when we asked for salt we received SUGAR in they’re salt containers and NOBODY cared, it felt like a joke… unfortunately it wasn’t. They should have replaced our sugary soup, sugary fries, sugary burgers and they didn’t. Clearly they don’t care about customer service.

22/02/2026: After waiting 20 minutes on the terrace watching other customers being served before us even though they had just arrived, we preferred to go elsewhere, what a shame.

23/02/2026: The Riva restaurant is imperial in name only. I ordered a Caesar salad, which consisted of a simple plate of mixed greens with a few crumbs of breadcrumbs vaguely resembling breaded chicken. A minimalist version, to say the least… The gnocchi with gorgonzola cream was equally disappointing: overcooked, even burnt, gnocchi in such a ridiculously small quantity that you could count them on one hand. As for the sauce, it was more like a soup—or simply a gorgonzola broth—than a truly smooth cream. All this for a completely disproportionate price, more like a full three-course meal in a decent restaurant. A thoroughly disappointing experience.

14/02/2026: Very good pizzas, friendly staff

14/02/2026: Passing through Evian for three days, we decided to eat pizza at the ZAINO restaurant, which had a pretty good rating on Google and other sites. A gentleman wearing a vest greeted us, not very friendly, but it wasn't a big deal since we hadn't made a reservation. We ordered three pizzas: to be honest, they had no flavor (too much cheese in one and too much cream in the other). We didn't finish them because they were so bad. In short, the waitress was very nice and smiling, but unfortunately, we were so disappointed that we decided to leave a negative review for this restaurant, which is unusual for us. It's a real shame because the location is exceptional! We hope they'll reflect on their approach, because that's how we improve. Price too high! Pizza with mozzarella, ham, and arugula... 23 euros!

09/11/2024: Very qualitative bakery, excellent bread and very good pastry, sandwiches, each more extraordinary than the other. And extremely kind, caring and professional employees. I highly recommend And a special thank you to the two young women on Sunday November 3 who did not hesitate to reopen the store for me and another customer in order to satisfy my sweet tooth and that of my guests with a delicious pie and for the other lady to be able to offer a birthday cake for his granddaughter. Many thanks you are great, keep it up 😊

12/01/2026: What a disappointment! We usually enjoy this place on Sundays, especially since we were a group there for New Year's Day. Almost €300 for pâté en croûte. Pâté. Sausage in brioche. The meat was far too fatty. No local cheese. Disappointed with the food, disappointed with the service. Yet it's a beautiful place. In any case, we won't be going back on New Year's Day...

13/12/2025: A wonderful time at the Hermitage restaurant with my daughters. Attentive and professional service: the waiters thoughtfully noticed and added a small touch to our dessert, which was much appreciated. The sommelier's wine selection was excellent. The setting was elegant and pleasant.
