28/01/2026: Bad reviews are just not true. I met the manager during my visit and had a diner at the restaurant. Both the manager and staff are incredibly polite, attendant and friendly. Yes of course you pay the Megeve prices, you are in Megeve but that's to be expected. The food was incredible and the entire experience was beyond expectations. Thank you. Ignore the bad reviews, these people are just snobs who want to ruin good businesses. I am leaving a one star review because I know you clicked on lowest like me and will see this review this way. But it's actually 5 stars. Now I believe in you to give those 5 stars after your experience. Thomas, thank you for being our waiter last night, you're a wonderful kid with a bright future, enjoy that bottle buddy.

12/06/2026: Fantastic neighborhood restaurant! The food is excellent and the staff is absolutely lovely. Whether it's for a coffee, an aperitif, or a delicious meal, it's always a pleasure to stop by. The setting is very pleasant with the town hall square as a backdrop, which is a real bonus with children: they can enjoy the space in peace and quiet, without the noise of passing cars. A great place to discover!

07/03/2026: Change careers! We arrived as a large group and decided to sit outside since there was no more room inside. The gentleman we informed of this decision didn't help us find a table, so we decided to move the tables onto the terrace. He immediately reprimanded us for this in a condescending tone. To continue this magnificent (irony intended) service, he was condescending when taking our order (we asked him if he served syrups, and he said, "Well, of course we have syrups, madam," with a disdainful air), and left before taking our entire order. When it came time to serve us, he placed the tray on the table, and we had to serve ourselves. If customer service and friendliness aren't among his qualities, this person should consider a career change.

30/03/2026: I've been coming here for years, and more regularly with my dad lately. The service is sometimes a little rushed but always efficient, and a few kind words immediately relax the atmosphere. The daily menu is always well thought out, perfectly portioned, and of very good quality. As for Sundays and special days like Palm Sunday, the menu is very well planned and served just enough so you can eat everything, right up to dessert. They have lovely wines, perhaps not enough half-bottles, but the Mondeuse does the job! In short, we always come back with pleasure. Well done, Lionel and the team! See you soon!

14/05/2026: The place is charming and the concept truly sublime. However, the experience is marred by unfriendly service beforehand, the disappointing quality of the breakfast, and a crucial lack of explanation (particularly regarding how to turn off the jacuzzi at night, as its pump is very noisy and runs continuously). The breakfast, comparable to a budget Lidl breakfast, contrasts sharply with the advertised and actual standard. When this issue is raised, the staff's response—arguing that it's not worth driving 12 minutes for fresh produce and that it's not included in their salary—is, once again, remarkably inconsistent with the establishment's reputation. It's a shame that such potential is undermined by these oversights. I hope the owner takes note of this feedback and makes the necessary improvements.

11/06/2026: We were very disappointed with our experience. The quality of the food was disappointing: several dishes seemed dried out and tasted like they had been reheated. The sushi was lukewarm and clearly lacked freshness, which is particularly concerning for this type of product. The selection was also very limited, with many trays nearly empty. In addition, there was a strong, unpleasant odor at our table, which did nothing to inspire confidence. Unfortunately, I became ill after this meal, which raises serious questions about the establishment's hygiene. Based on this experience, we will not be returning and cannot recommend this restaurant.
