29/08/2026: The welcome was mediocre, a bit casual (even though the restaurant was empty), the tables were uninviting, with only canteen-style cutlery, no flowers, no soy sauce or other sauces, and no chopsticks. The quality of the food was very average; having ordered sake, I noticed the sake glass was chipped and the pourer was sticky.

05/03/2026: We were extremely disappointed by this restaurant. The good reviews had made us want to book, but in the end, nothing went as planned. There were nine of us, six of whom ordered raclette. We were brought only one raclette grill with a small cheese. We asked if there would only be one for six people, and we were told yes. Honestly, how is that possible? The restaurant was practically empty. We had to insist on getting a second grill, which was finally brought. And the most surprising thing is that we finished both cheeses… without even feeling truly full. So how would we have managed with six people on only one cheese, especially considering the price of the raclette, which is clearly not cheap? It's incomprehensible and very unacceptable. The fondue, meanwhile, was of poor quality. Another disappointing point: no one came to ask us if everything was alright during the meal. We really felt neglected. It was my first time at this restaurant, and it will be my last. A very bad experience.

19/04/2026: An absolutely charming experience at the Hôtel-Restaurant La Verniaz. The setting is enchanting, offering a haven of serenity and elegance. As for the cuisine, beautifully presented dishes at the bistro showcase refined cuisine that magnificently highlights seasonal produce, all served with exemplary professionalism. Whether it's the comfort of the hotel or the quality of the food, the welcome is impeccable and attentive. A must-visit address that I highly recommend for its authenticity and excellence.

20/09/2026: This is an amazing restaurant! I am leaving my highest recommendation. Don't miss out!! The food was delicious, with everything cooked to perfection. I've been fortunate to dine in many special places around the world, and this was truly exceptional. The duck was exquisite, perfectly paired with new potatoes as recommended by the Maitre D. The beef was also wonderful (we had our medium rare, the French way) and all the vegetables were cooked to perfection. We were made to feel so welcome, and were delighted with the wine recommendations - the languedoc is remarkably good and pairs incredibly with both the duck and beef. We were tempted to share desert, and the chocolate mousse was a true chocolate delight, and plenty of it. The restaurant itself is beautiful and private, set back off the street up the stairs, making it feel a bit of a secret find. The atmosphere was so friendly, warm and cosy. I thought the prices were fair and if anything under represented the fantastic venue and food - ie. really rather good value for everything you receive. I would return in a heartbeat if I am in the vicinity of Annecy again.

11/09/2026: You place a €70 order (for 4 people) at the drive-thru. They bring you the bag, but three-quarters of the items are missing. You go into McDonald's, and the manager says, "Yes, we saw that some things were missing." But he lets the order go, even though a lot of things are missing.

03/08/2026: A nice little park for children with several activities available (mini-golf, tennis, a small lake with a water course, etc.). There are also places to eat on site offering basic meals.

22/07/2026: A very pleasant place to meet up with family or friends for a relaxing time. The mini-golf course is very well maintained for a fun time. There's also a children's play area that's easy to supervise. Free parking.

22/08/2026: Another visit to this friendly bistro-restaurant where the chef knows how to prepare veal very well. Last year I had a T-bone steak, and this time a classic veal chop delighted me. Perfectly cooked, tender meat, mini chanterelles, and excellent sautéed potatoes on the side. Relaxed atmosphere. Fair price. See you next year!

20/08/2026: We didn't have the chance to try this restaurant because the waitress kicked us out unceremoniously at 8:30 pm, telling us "we're not serving anymore." She turned her back on us and left – unheard of!
