06/04/2026: My mother-in-law had given us all a voucher for a meal at this restaurant. We were thrilled to be able to go, but when my mother-in-law called to make a reservation, to our surprise, we were told that the establishment didn't accept groups. Thinking it was a mistake, my sister-in-law called back for an explanation, and again, she was told that groups were no longer catered for, but that we could go to La Barathe, the other restaurant which, while certainly very good, isn't the gourmet restaurant we had our hearts set on. Faced with these very vague explanations (if we're going by that logic, two people are considered a group…), I decided to call as well and asked to speak to a manager. He then assured me that it was simply because there was no space available that evening and that we had been offered another night (which is quite true; we were offered a Thursday evening instead of Saturday, as groups were apparently accepted during the week – except, of course, that people are usually available on weekends…). When this explanation was given to me, and since groups were apparently finally accepted on Saturdays, I expressed my understanding, explaining that we had clearly misunderstood each other, and simply asked to book for another Saturday evening. And then, once again, surprise, surprise, I was informed that, following the (very factual and unbiased) opinion expressed by my sister-in-law, we were no longer welcome. I remain shocked by the lack of professionalism of some, who still dare to comment on my sister-in-law's review by distorting the facts and claiming that another date had been offered without specifying that only weekday dates were possible, not weekends. Strange, very strange… It's a shame, as we're from the area and often recommended this restaurant, but, as they clearly stated, we'll most certainly be better received elsewhere :)

02/05/2026: The best restaurant in Thonon! The flavor and quality of the dishes, the welcome and generosity of the restaurant owners… all the ingredients are there to make us have a pleasant time.

21/03/2026: Absolutely delicious! My partner and I arrived without knowing what to order from the menu. The owner then prepared a selection of meze for us, and each one was a pure delight ✨ A wonderful discovery that I wholeheartedly recommend; I promise you won't be disappointed!

03/09/2025: Arriving at 8:30 PM without a reservation, we were greeted by the manager who informed us that there was only one dish available (fondue, and only served outside). I should point out that there were only two people in the restaurant! Having come from another region for a sporting event, I strongly advise against going there!

23/02/2026: Nice bar/restaurant (daily lunch menu, crêpe snacks, sandwiches). We didn't try the food, but the other customers seemed satisfied. We had drinks; the service was impeccable and quick. The prices were more than reasonable. Plus, there's a lovely terrace in the pedestrian zone.

19/09/2025: Frankly the worst attitude I have ever seen from a waitress. We sat down waiting for her to take our order (or greet us) and she saw us from the bar and yelled: “Yes?” like it’s my job to take her order, not the other way around. I understand that sometimes you have to order at the bar, but a “Hello, please order inside” won’t hurt anyone. I can’t say anything about the food or drinks in there because we obviously left after this encounter. Too bad, getting paid to act like this is really embarrassing.

09/09/2025: We loved our dinner at Le Stone while hiking the Tour du Mont Blanc. The pizza and salad was excellent! Thank you for the wonderful meal!

23/04/2026: On April 21, 2026, around 8:00 PM, I arrived at the restaurant in Epargny with someone whose left arm is currently completely immobilized. When ordering, we politely asked the waiter to have the steak cut for this person in the kitchen before serving it (to date, all the restaurants we've visited have agreed without any problem; it takes 15 seconds with a sharp kitchen knife). The meat arrived at the table uncut; we were told, "That's how it is, what did you expect at Buffalo Grill?" Furthermore, there was no way to get a steak knife that actually cut... This comment came from the manager. Personally, I would have left the restaurant immediately without paying, but my companion, looking embarrassed, asked me to stay. Just a quick note, it wasn't crowded, the staff wasn't overwhelmed at all... My receipt from April 21, 2026, at 8:23:48 PM, had the order number C1-089049, table 23. You can check. THANKS BUFFALO, you're really too nice... CHANGE CAREERS.............

08/04/2026: Ordered a takeaway pizza. As a result, the order was taken incorrectly; I was given the wrong pizza, and I discovered a piece of blue plastic (a kind of lid, I have a photo) inside my pizza.

29/03/2026: Pizzas are okay, although some have Gruyere cheese (a crime for Italians), and desserts are way too expensive (this is not a restaurant).

24/08/2025: We came as a family of four, including a child. We ordered a special menu for our 3-year-old, which included three appetizers and savory crepes. For dessert, we had ice cream and sweet crepes. The service was quick and the food was excellent. Thank you, we had a lovely time.

12/08/2025: Delicious galettes, with local and more traditional fillings, in very generous portions. Quick and friendly service. A great place!

03/05/2026: The restaurant looked promising at first glance, but I was very disappointed once I sat down. A hot box with raw potatoes, oily cheese, and low-quality charcuterie. A sacrilege for the region... And to top it off, a nasty case of indigestion!

02/05/2026: The restaurant's menu, while promising, quickly disappointed us once we started eating. The cheese was oily, the potatoes undercooked, and the charcuterie low-quality… Despite this, the service was very good, and the waitress was also very pleasant. What a shame! We expected more from our evening at this establishment.

20/05/2026: They made a mistake in the kitchen and delivered the wrong order. I ended up with meat when I didn't want to eat meat, which is very disappointing, and I don't even know if I'll get a refund from Uber Eats, since my previous order from them was stolen, so I prefer to leave a bad review. Sorry, and to top it off, the delivery guys didn't look very appetizing.

08/05/2026: I used to love this place, it had such great food, a great vibe and the staff was so fun. Unfortunately not anymore since it changed hands. The food is not horrible, but just average. Choice went down, prices went up. But most of all, the vibe is gone. It used to be a chill place with chill snowboarders, it used to be fun to hang here. Now it’s skiers (nothing against skiers, just a different vibe), or pop music from some random radio station and pretty empty. Nothing special anymore. And yes, they also got my order wrong (which wasn’t anything hard, just a burger and twister fries). I’ll miss the old place and won’t be returning here anymore.

06/04/2026: Despite the very good food, the prices are far too high. €20 for a burger is simply too expensive. Very well located.

02/03/2026: The setting is nice, and that's about it. The food was bland, on par with a mid-range wedding caterer. The dishes were clearly pre-prepared. Nothing had any flavor. €200 for two people is outrageous. I would reduce the number of servers, who didn't add anything (we were served by five different people), to focus more on the food. PS: No baby changing table in a 5-star hotel…

24/02/2026: Overwhelming and rushed service. Arrived at 7:30 PM, left at 8:30 PM. Beautiful setting, but not worth the repulsion, and very expensive…

23/02/2026: We had a great time! The server was friendly and efficient! The burgers are excellent quality! Very tasty and a good portion of fries
