07/03/2026: The food is more like frozen or reheated; it's a far cry from Thai cuisine. And I'm not even going to mention the cleanliness of the restaurant, especially the windows, which supposedly offer a lake view, but unfortunately, you have to look closely because between the dirt, the streaks, and the fly marks... Not to mention the rest, although the service was pleasant.

12/03/2026: I went in at 7:49 this morning, and after having to walk through a cloud of smoke because three employees were taking their break near the entrance, I had to wait over 12 minutes, even though I was the fourth customer and there was only one salesperson. A colleague finally arrived... Furthermore, I bought two croissants and two pain au chocolat, and they asked me, "What would you like for the free one?" I replied, "A croissant," but when I went to eat them, well, no free one... It's appalling, and I've experienced worse at Marie Blachère in Rumilly, and they've finally managed to lose me as a customer.

24/10/2025: I am dismayed by the telephone reception I received following my request for an explanation. The pro forma invoice contains errors regarding the number of people and the arrival and departure dates, even though everything had been specified in the reservation email. When you have to pay a substantial deposit, the least you can do is get an answer without being hung up on!!!

27/10/2025: We had a wonderful stay at La Verniaz. We particularly appreciated the welcome and service, especially Olga, who was extremely kind. The shuttle service to the city center is really convenient and efficient.

06/10/2025: The hotel is part of the Evian Resort, but it clearly doesn't offer the same services as other hotels in the same brand. It's old, poorly maintained, and therefore not in line with the rates charged. And clearly not 4*. However, a commercial agreement has been reached, but that doesn't change my opinion about 1*.

12/11/2025: Karaoke night with free paella for singers. Friendly place and owners. Concerts on Friday nights. A great place to rediscover in winter as it's not so common!

11/11/2025: We received a very warm welcome on November 11th. The setting and atmosphere were perfect, and the staff were very pleasant. We had a delicious meal; I highly recommend it!

05/01/2026: We thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful takeaway couscous! We brought our own containers and they took care of the rest, beautifully presented in the semolina! We'll definitely be back, and we might even visit the lovely, beautifully decorated restaurant. Thank you so much!

27/03/2026: Generally just okay. Kinda of strange that they wouldn't let you sit inside out of the cold, even though the restaurant was empty just to have a drink only if you buy food can you have that privilege.

13/03/2026: Good atmosphere, very friendly service, and the food is good. It's a bit pricey compared to other restaurants in the area, and the service was quite (very) slow, which prevents it from getting 5 stars.

07/02/2026: The smoking room is poorly insulated. Too much cigarette smoke gets into the main dance hall. The music gets a zero.

07/02/2026: The place is okay overall, but the sound is really, really bad. Too much bass, too loud! I don't come often, but every time I regret it 🙃 They really need to do something about the sound system!!

26/01/2026: New owner, new kitchen, and most importantly, new prices! For that price (€17-€24), go to Pacific Gaillard or Saint Julien. (Otherwise, Vénissieux-Lyon if you're willing to make the trip, but it's worth it.) It's an all-you-can-eat buffet, but you only get one regular naan. The people sitting next to us were given a cheese naan without even asking... It's served at random. And it's not even good. I won't be back, and this review is for those who, like me, were thinking, "Let's give it a try." Absolutely not!

14/08/2025: We stayed at this hotel with our children and grandchildren. We had apartment number 2. This apartment is supposed to accommodate up to 10 people. There's really only one bedroom upstairs. There are two not-quite-separated areas, each with a sofa bed. Downstairs, behind the living area, there's an alcove. It's incredibly stuffy. There's another sofa bed in this living area. The skylights in the bedrooms don't have built-in blinds. This is extremely annoying in the mornings during the peak of summer. It's also annoying because blinds prevent the sun's heat from entering the apartment. There's only one bathroom with a toilet. There's no separate toilet in the bathroom, which is a shame considering the number of people this apartment can accommodate. I don't think that's a good idea. The shower head is completely clogged with limescale. The other taps are too. Our children arrived before us. They told us the cleaning wasn't great. I noticed it immediately upon arrival. The front door handle wasn't properly tightened. The two screws were about to fall out. The cooktop, the cupboard above it, and the microwave are in a deplorable state. There's a dish towel in the cutlery drawer. It's in a shameful state. You have to wonder if it's even clean. The bathroom is just as deplorable. The door is no longer white. It doesn't have a lock. The latch is broken off. The front of what looks like a drawer under the sink is ripped off. In the kitchen/dining area, some of the chairs are in a precarious condition. One table is extremely dangerous. Under the tabletop, there are lag bolts in the corners to reinforce the legs. These bolts protrude dangerously. They've been clumsily disguised with wine bottle corks. We absolutely cannot understand how this type of accommodation can still be rented and called an "aparthotel." We don't understand how this kind of establishment can accommodate guests. There is a real lack of professionalism. No checks are carried out between each tenant. These checks could and should be done during the cleaning process. For us, it's a complete disgrace. We will never return to this place. A place to avoid at all costs.

18/07/2025: The apartment was clean and perfectly tidy upon our arrival, the welcome was warm and friendly, and they were available whenever we had questions. We stayed for two days. No complaints whatsoever. We are very surprised by the numerous negative reviews, which, based on our experience, seem excessive and unjustified. All the best to La Ferme de Lucien, and see you soon!

12/03/2026: The welcome was very average. The service was extremely fast. We quickly realized we had to leave the table when we announced we weren't having dessert! They refused payment by card, restaurant voucher, and holiday voucher. And finally, be careful with the door, as our daughter hurt herself leaving. In short, I do not recommend this restaurant!

21/12/2025: The rooms are nothing like the ones shown on Booking.com. We found the room very expensive for the condition of the room. We slept very poorly; the pillow was like a sheet of paper. On the other hand, the breakfast was decent. We will not be returning.

30/11/2025: I particularly enjoyed the breakfast. The room was basic and the bathroom was in poor condition. It was relatively small. And there was no parking available. I had to drive around the neighborhood for 30 minutes before finding a spot in a private residence across the street.
