06/10/2025: Know that looking in the trash cans is especially revealing about the cuisine of a neighborhood restaurant or other, even worth fries are not fresh as you say, let's be serious, don't you believe it?
23/09/2025: A good little neighborhood spot that does the job. The daily special at €14 is a bit pricey for what's on the plate; for example, the black pudding, at the price it costs, could be served with 50% more without affecting profitability.
A shame, because we'd make it a more regular stop.

03/02/2026: Nice McDonald's, perfectly placed for last coffee/comfort stop before driving to many of the ski resorts in the Alps. Usual McDonald's standards and fayre. Clean facilities and decent sized car park. All orders are placed on screen (so no language issues) and delivered to your table.

Sausage and mashed potatoes worthy of a fast-food joint, at an astronomical price.
Dirty toilets.
Haughty and disdainful management.
Only the terrace and its view would justify a photo stop. A meal to avoid.

A team offering exceptionally friendly and efficient service! Well done to them!
I don't like easy criticisms, so I'll just say that the food is home-style, perfect for a ski break.
Have a great end to the season and highly recommended for its ski-in/ski-out location.
16/02/2025: The manager was extremely unpleasant and rude. She flatly refused our simplest requests (like adding an egg to our dish), was unable to offer any advice, and, worst of all, yelled at us in front of all the other customers because one of the children with us, a one-year-old, had spilled crumbs under his high chair! Appalling… You should be ashamed of your unprofessional, unprofessional, and aggressive behavior… Luckily, the young waitresses were nice to make up for it :)

03/01/2026: Oysters ordered for New Year's Eve: several were full of worms. Totally unacceptable for a bar-restaurant.
Who eats oysters with worms?
And to top it all off, the owner told us: "It's not my problem if you didn't eat them." No professionalism, no respect for the customer.
Outrageous experience. Avoid this place.

There were nine of us for lunch without a reservation, and the staff was very welcoming. The service was quick, the meal was delicious, and all the dishes (as well as all the desserts) were homemade. We especially loved the tiramisu 😍

14/03/2026: A fantastic spot in Megève for an authentic local experience. Open year-round, which is rare in this resort. The portions are generous, the food is delicious, and the staff is incredibly welcoming. Special mention for the raclette!
12/03/2026: Ridiculously expensive place, I paid 9€ for a cappuccino to go. No prices shown. Super impolite stuff. Avoid this place.

02/03/2026: We had a delicious dinner here as a family of 5. We didn't have a reservation, and got a table without having to wait. Children had pizza and tartiflette, we had steak tartare and a burger, escargot to start 🐌 Great food, nice atmousphere, friendly attentive service, at a very reasonable price. Recommend 😊
01/03/2026: I'm surprised by the average rating. Honestly, the staff is friendly and the setting is nice, but if you want a good meal, look elsewhere. I suspect everything is frozen, because our lamb shanks were rock hard and cold inside. The mayonnaise was expired.
It's a shame because it has potential.

18/02/2026: This place has become just another ordinary spot. We used to know it was much better, and during school holidays, they didn't even serve waffles at 4 pm, and that seemed perfectly normal... As a former bartender, I always managed to help customers out.
What a shame.

17/03/2026: We've been coming here for 40 years, and this time, when it came time to pay, they shoved the credit card terminal in our faces with the waiter heavily pressuring us to leave a tip. And what did we dare do? Not tip! The result? The atmosphere became awful. Great. Basically, here at L'Irish Coffee, the waiter's smile costs money. For us, that's it, we're going somewhere else. We're not in the USA; tipping isn't mandatory. Pathetic!
