18/08/2024: We ate there twice during our long weekend in Châtel! Delicious cuisine (Savoyard fondue and raclette, a delight) Pleasant, kind and humorous staff! The 4 of us spent 2 superb tasting evenings, accompanied by our dog who was accepted with great pleasure. 😃 Best wishes !

08/09/2024: I don't usually leave reviews, good or bad, but I make an exception. I was looking for a place to go out on a Saturday evening following a wedding to dance and have fun in a group of 10-12. I looked at the comments from all the clubs in Annecy, and the opinions are edifying. We can summarize them as: disrespectful, racist or even dangerous security guards, and €20 cocktails. So, I abandoned the idea of ​​a club and went to La Jungle, which closes earlier, around 1 a.m., and which gets dancing at 10:30 p.m. Best decisions. The security guards are cool, they let our group in without any problems, music not phenomenal but general enough to please everyone, very good atmosphere, smiling waiters. Reasonably priced drinks. We took 2 bottles as we left for a few drinks Little “goodbye, welcome back on the way out”!!! In short, thank you, I hope you will be able to maintain this identity which places you well above the rest in Annecy.

14/12/2024: End of year company meal, boss as pleasant and communicative as ever, very good food (tagine with tomato jam 👍👍)

11/12/2024: To flee!!!! The manager was in a hurry that we had barely placed our order when he came to take our order. He attacked us because we asked questions and snatched the menu from our hands. We left without ordering and without talking about the prices... PS: yes next time I will go eat a hamburger which will be better than eating leftovers that we put on our plates

17/09/2024: Accueil très décontracté. Très joli décor simple et sobre. Repas excellent (poulet sauce aux bolets, légumes, gratin dauphinois) servi copieusement. Café gourmand pour prolonger cet agréable moment. Merci nous reviendrons.

16/09/2024: Accueil froid de la part du patron. Refus de service pour 4 personnes à cause d’un chien de taille moyenne qui nous accompagnait (Berger Australien). La nourriture est peut être bonne mais nous n’avons pas eu l’occasion de la goûter pour les raisons évoquer juste au dessus.

22/09/2024: Were invited to dinner. Rustic decor. Friendly, courteous staff. Starter of foie gras served as a small burger. The food was beautifully prepared and came to everyone (5 people) at the same time. Basically, all dishes are prepared with little salt. Personally, it was too economical for me, but a salt and pepper mill can be added upon request. If you take the high price level in France as a basis, the overall price including the desserts was ok, but it is not cheap. So you should take a look at the menu beforehand. Still worth a visit.

04/09/2024: The good location of the Ancor hotel, friendly service and tasty breakfast somewhat compensate for some of the minuses. The disadvantages were the condition of the rooms - ours was small and the bathroom door was a makeshift room, it was difficult to maintain privacy in the bathroom. In general, the bathroom could use a facelift (e.g. the washbasin countertop is damaged). There is a parking lot at the hotel :)

02/09/2024: This year a little disappointed with the service: -sheets not changed during my 4-night stay. -no coffee capsules provided (I am a coffee lover). -no signs to put “free room” at the door, obligation to go to reception every day. Positive points: -Good welcome from staff -Air conditioning and fridge Sincerely

22/09/2024: Very friendly and good-willed waitress… But then big organizational problem, dishes come with sauce instead of without, the fondue nothing exceptional, out of stock for certain accompaniments... You are forced to listen to rap for 30 minutes in a restaurant in the evening... thanks to the waitress who asked the manager to change the music for the customers... the crème brûlée served on a second plate full of sauce (see in the photo)… really not professional at all and catastrophic management… and above all, completely false and uncontrolled notes. We paid 103€ and the wrong bill was 179€!!! Free salad (it was the minimum!) I left a tip for the waitress who did her best.

18/09/2024: We have already been here for the first time and the waiter was very welcoming. But this time, a very cold reception. The lights went out and then back on. It took 1 hour to get the first dish, a table much too small for that. We had no place, we were not offered water during the meal. While the other customers for the same meal had the biggest drinks and were offered water. The fondue was all lumpy, the servers were also very rough. No “bon appetit” or “please” The cutlery was barely taken from our hands. For dessert, we had to wait another 45 minutes, even though there were 6 tables in the restaurant. I wouldn't come back, when I have the other negative opinions I completely agree with them. Then there is a bell that just rings throughout the meal. The waiters come and go outside. Restaurant to avoid!

18/09/2024: While passing through for a professional event in the region, we stopped at this brewery and it was a great discovery! Warm welcome, fast service, a menu that tempts you. Excellent tartare, very well cooked fries, a meal without a false note! Addition of €63 for two (2 beers, 2 tartars, 1 dessert).

06/11/2024: nous sommes des habitués d'évian les bains et de la frégate des anciens propriètaires nous n'avons pas compris ce que les nouveaux ont voulu faire nous ne venons pas pour manger 1 croute à l'ail ou boire 1 bouteille de champagne à 400 euros la terrasse fermée et les 2 employés du bar sans 1 bonjour ni au revoir sinon l'ancienne serveuse du matin toujours aussi sympa à éviter

23/10/2024: Situé en face de l embarcadère,places de parc temps limité,belle terrasse en dessus avec une belle vue sur le lac,service rapide,recommande.

06/09/2024: I can only give one star to each section… We come for dinner: 1) we are made to wait, ok no problem 2) 10 minutes later, a person comes to welcome us: we ask for a table for 2 (there was still quite a bit of space), the person leaves to check, but does not come back to us… 3) another 10 minutes later, another person approaches us, but takes care of the takeaway pizzas 4) we wait another 10 minutes: we decide to leave… Too bad… so we went to eat elsewhere… Waiting time just to get seated, endless, other customers also left before us…

30/08/2024: Delicious pizza, lousy service. Despite a very sparsely filled room this lunchtime, a lot of waiting planted like radishes in front of the door, a lot of waiting for the order to be taken and no one ever came to clear us out and offer us dessert or coffee...
