21/02/2026: It's a pub, so there's an excellent whisky list (you have to ask for it). They've had the same draft beers for years, which is a shame, but the service and atmosphere are great. The food is decent.

01/03/2026: Got charged 64 euros for a portion of chicken pieces with onion rings and 3 drinks xD said that there was something on the list I didn’t have and he said it was subtracted, did the maths after and apparently paid for a main and a beer I didn’t have. Great maths people

17/02/2026: Booked this place at the last minute as our other accommodation informed us they had bedbugs - obviously a common problem in Europe. Location was good, bus goes right past the door and the train station is about 5 - 10 minute walk away. Breakfast was basic but good, help yourself so no shortage. The room was fine no issues. We ate in the restaurant nearly every night, good value. A lot of the complaints seem to be about the building, it's a 150 years old so what do you expect? Staff were helpful, self check in which worked fine. It's a perfectly good place as long as you're not one of these moaners who what to pay bottom dollar and get 5 star service. I would happily stay here again.

27/02/2026: We went twice this week. The first time, we arrived at 1 p.m., and most of the dishes were empty. We asked if we could refill them, but were told no. At 1:30 p.m., after asking if we wanted more appetizers, the staff started clearing the plates—it was very stressful. The second time, we went at 12:30 p.m. Some dishes must have been popular; there was still some left, and by 1:30 p.m., they were clearing the plates. Also, the sushi was very mediocre. Apart from that, the staff was pleasant, and the dishes were mostly good, but not plentiful.

24/02/2026: My stomach hurt all night!! It started barely an hour after I left that restaurant. Avoid at all costs!

13/01/2026: Passing through Seyssel, we stopped at this restaurant which pleasantly surprised us with its short but carefully curated menu and attentive service. The foie gras was very good, the meat was cooked to perfection, and the fried calamari was excellent. The wine list, however, was a bit limited, with few organic wines available. The steak could have been served piping hot, and the shallot sauce was rather bland, but that didn't stop us from having a lovely evening and enjoying a delicious meal. I highly recommend it. The terrace overlooking the Rhône is superb on sunny days.

07/03/2026: Amazing hotel!!!! Room size is reasonable. Perfect location and they probably have the best view to the mountains. Would totally come again

07/03/2026: Zero respect from them, I had a reservation for Saturday 07.03 for my mom's birthday, I drove 1 hour 30 minutes to get there only to be told that my reservation was cancelled without warning!

29/01/2026: AVOID AT ALL COSTS! FOOD POISONING for 3 days, ended up in the ER. 😡😡😡 Sunday's menu, January 25, 2026!!! Plus, it was cold in the restaurant. I hope the health inspectors will come by.

10/01/2026: In light of the comments just below, what more can I say than that, as regular customers, relentlessly badmouthing a restaurant you've been going to for at least several weeks is utter hypocrisy. Misunderstandings can happen; you don't want to pay more, but they don't want to be paid less. Instead of playing the victim like the children in your party, be adults and try to understand each other... In any case, I'm sure the managers will be thrilled not to see you again. Just reading your comments made me feel nauseous 🤢 Furthermore, I've been several times since September and have always been very well received and served. Some dishes are reheated, but that's normal in this type of restaurant (although they really should upgrade the refrigeration units, which don't maintain the temperature properly). The servers and managers are fantastic and incredibly kind! I've never gotten sick, and everything is delicious!

12/02/2026: We were served by Gildas, he was incredible. The food was great, the service was great, this place was 10/10 for us.

10/02/2026: There were nine of us, and we enjoyed some delicious, light, and crispy pizzas. The new pizza chef is very friendly and skilled. Our plates went home empty. Thank you for a great time!

25/02/2026: A truly magnificent setting, absolutely top-notch, and more than reasonable prices for a resort. It's a shame the waiter at 11:45 didn't want to seat us inside because he preferred to serve us on the terrace, which I can understand (there were two of us). You know, sir, autistic children aren't so different from us; they just need a less overwhelming space at times, like your indoor dining room, which was empty at that moment. Aside from that, you were fantastic. So, perhaps next time.

13/03/2026: Disgusting!! Absolutely nothing to complain about! We pay a fortune for pizza-shaped insoles that taste like cardboard! I should add that we found bits of "paper" (I sincerely hope that's all it was) in the dough 😱🤮🤢 It leaves an aftertaste even after brushing your teeth! Luckily the hospital isn't far away because we might need it... Makes you wonder about a possible partnership... This is unacceptable!

01/03/2026: Nice location. Vegetable soup looked like dishwater and tasted inedible. Chilli Con Carne was just OK. Chips, coffee and beer all good. Nice dog.
