13/07/2026: We were very disappointed with our experience. The pizza tasted more like a tortilla than a real pizza, the vegetable soup wasn’t really a vegetable soup, and only the pasta was okay. When we politely told the staff that we didn’t like the pizza which we had barely touched, they simply argued with us and said, “It’s just your taste,” instead of trying to help. It’s not about the money it’s about the attitude. We left feeling frustrated, which is why we’re leaving this review.

13/07/2026: The omelets were ridiculously expensive, and the ingredients were frozen and tasteless. I'm completely disgusted at being ripped off like this. My wife ordered a vegetarian omelet gratin, and she didn't even finish it because it was so bland. I ordered their house specialty with four mushrooms, and the mushrooms were rubbery and tasteless. It was really bad. €30 for an omelet, and I'm still hungry! I'm completely disgusted with their business practices. Goodbye forever.

22/07/2026: The food was inedible, far too salty. We waited an hour and a half for our meal. The waiter was in a terrible mood. In short, everything was perfect for celebrating my 75th birthday. The table next to us waited two hours and, of course, complained because they were served after us. Avoid at all costs.

13/07/2026: We dined on the terrace of this restaurant, chosen because it was one of only two open on Saturday evenings! A very pleasant surprise: beautifully presented and delicious dishes (a scallop carpaccio, a fabulous bo bun, excellent profiteroles), efficient service, and reasonable prices. A very enjoyable experience.

21/07/2026: The owners were not very pleasant. The food was of an indescribable quality. The gnocchi were sour, as if doused with vinegar. The pasta was like a sauce from a bag, not even a uniform mass. It seemed weighed.

20/04/2026: Since the butcher's cut was flank steak, I ordered a Mont Blanc tartare. Disappointment! There was just a tiny bit of ham on top (see photo). I also ordered a mille-feuille 🤐 Disappointed compared to last year. I no longer eat at Grands Montets; I plan half-day trips and eat in Chamonix. I lose a bit of time, but I prefer it. €45 for a bad meal. The owner's explanation: it's the end of the season 😡

08/04/2026: I really enjoyed the soup, the draft cider, and the mint chocolate ice cream! The staff is super friendly, the music is good, and the terrace is sunny. Great spot in Argentière.

08/08/2026: The saleswoman was unfriendly and rude. We ordered a raspberry tart and told our guests we were getting one. Instead, we received a disgusting blueberry tart (the pastry crumbled, it was overcooked, and there was no cream)! Shameful! I'm forced to give it one star, but it deserves zero! The saleswoman even asked me how much €14.90 was for two people! What are we supposed to do?!

02/04/2026: We've been coming here since 2018... and well, we won't be going back! We had some disgusting sausages and lasagna... The cashier was unfriendly; when we asked him if he had pepper, he was the only one who got the second star for service. The waitress was smiling (lucky for the owner!). I think they're definitely not the same as they used to be. We didn't even want to have coffee after lunch.

05/04/2026: One of the best terraces in the area. Incredible view. Homemade cuisine, some meats from their own farm, homemade Myrtille and Genepi liqueurs. A truly authentic spot in Megève!

04/04/2026: We were turned away as soon as we arrived because, despite the restaurant being half empty, they refused to let us order "just" two pies and two drinks, claiming it would reduce the quality of service for customers who were eating... pathetic...

20/06/2026: Before going there, you should read this review: I was looking forward to eating at this restaurant because there are so many positive reviews, but I was frankly very disappointed. We ordered pork and beef, both of which were incredibly dry, and there was so little beef that I had to search for it among the bamboo. Every dish comes without sides. For the Cantonese rice, I paid €7.50 for white rice with two tiny cubes of ham and two measly peas. I also ordered noodles with vegetables, and imagine my surprise when I saw I was going to pay €11 for instant noodles that cost €0.99 in stores! I strongly advise against going to this place! It's very expensive for such poor food! The only worthwhile thing was the three spring rolls for €10, which were actually good. Oh, and I almost forgot, all the tablecloths had huge cigarette burns, which I find really unsavory.

24/08/2025: We came as a family of four, including a child. We ordered a special menu for our 3-year-old, which included three appetizers and savory crepes. For dessert, we had ice cream and sweet crepes. The service was quick and the food was excellent. Thank you, we had a lovely time.

12/08/2025: Delicious galettes, with local and more traditional fillings, in very generous portions. Quick and friendly service. A great place!

17/05/2026: I used to go to this kebab shop every lunchtime in high school. I returned 10 years later with a real sense of nostalgia and high expectations. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. My kebab was served at 11:50 p.m., and I was immediately told I had 10 minutes to eat before closing time. If eating in is no longer possible at that hour, it would make sense not to offer it. At midnight sharp, I was asked twice to leave. I pointed out the situation to the manager, without getting the slightest response. Zero sense of service, zero sense of business. A real disappointment for a place that held a special place in my memories.

09/05/2026: A simple, good kebab, not the most delicious in the world, but personally, it's where I go when I want a kebab. So I would recommend it.
