05/07/2026: At the end of our Route des Grandes Alpes tour, we were exhausted and wanted to enjoy a delicious meal by the water. We stopped at Le Remous and received incredibly friendly service. The food was delicious, and there was a wonderful atmosphere right on the harbor. It was a perfect end to our tour, and we'd love to come back. The restaurant offers excellent value for money, and we can't understand the negative reviews about long wait times. We were there in the evening during peak hours, and all the staff were efficient. We were also easily allowed to take a bottle of water with us.

04/08/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A truly wonderful experience at Restaurant 3842! We were warmly welcomed by a particularly friendly and attentive person, which immediately set the tone for this special moment. The meal was a real delight: high-quality, flavorful dishes in an absolutely exceptional setting. The real bonus, in our opinion, is an advantage that many visitors don't know about: when you have lunch at the restaurant, you can fully enjoy the site without being constrained by the usually limited time for sightseeing. This allowed us to experience it at our leisure, admire the scenery, and take the time to appreciate this unique place. An address we wholeheartedly recommend, both for the quality of the welcome and for the cuisine and the overall experience it offers.

22/08/2026: We arrived at 7:55 PM and looked at the beer menu, which was €9 a pint, by the way. Then we saw happy hour: €7 until 8:00 PM. Great! We ordered, and the waiter handed me the card reader at 8:01 PM precisely to pay. Then he said, "Oh well, happy hour's over, there's nothing I can do!" Not very nice, especially since we were regulars. Plus, the owner walking by without even a glance or a hello is really unacceptable. Not sure we'll be back...

06/05/2026: A very pleasant stay at this quiet and clean hotel, conveniently located in a shopping area with private parking, which is very practical. The room was clean, with comfortable bedding, ample storage, and a very nice working bathtub. The restaurant offers a wide selection of quality dishes, and the breakfast was also very satisfying. 20/08/2026: Very warm welcome. No problems with the food. Very quiet despite the single dining room (restaurant only about half full). Note: at lunchtime, there was no plancha grill (grills set up on the tables), we weren't aware of this.

15/08/2026: Nice Chinese place with sushi served on a conveyor belt -- lots of choice and all-you-can-eat, always the same as for years!!

05/04/2026: Pleasantly surprised! Good daily special for €19 and draft beer for €5. Terrace overlooking the mountain range. As a native of the valley, I know that mountain restaurants don't have a very positive reputation. But this place was good and reasonably priced, so I recommend it!

30/03/2026: Very expensive, average (at best) food, slow and fairly grumpy service. Burger was ok, but not for €26, tartiflette also ok but again, only average and poor for the price, salads were really bad, probably worst Cesar salad I've ever had and for €21! Reckon the paltry ingredients cost less than €1. Nice views.

10/08/2026: Excellent restaurant, we go there every time we're in Flaine (for afternoon tea, drinks, or lunch/dinner) and the owners are lovely. The service is often quick (during the Christmas and summer holidays), the food is delicious and plentiful, the prices are very reasonable (compared to other restaurants), and everything is homemade. I highly recommend this place. Of course, there are always some dissatisfied customers, so don't pay attention to the few negative reviews, try it for yourself!

27/08/2026: The best all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet restaurant in the area, excellent WOK food, and top-notch service, we've been coming for about 8 years, never disappointed.

27/08/2026: Excellent all-you-can-eat Asian meal! It's not a buffet, but you choose from a tablet, as much as you want. It's brought out very quickly. And the quality of the food is nothing like what you'd find at a buffet! It's very well seasoned, with amazing curry and ginger flavors. A pleasant surprise, we highly recommend it.

19/05/2026: Whatever you do, don't go to BNT! I ordered two tacos, and in one I bit into a small piece of bone—it made me sick. My friend ate the other one and got a piece of raw meat; he literally threw up. It was awful. You can see why nobody goes there anymore.

29/07/2026: They make a very nice children's menu plate, which for me is more than enough.

28/07/2026: The kebab meat was very good, but ruined by the reheated, day-old bread. What a shame! It's unacceptable to sell stale bread with kebabs; it completely ruins it. Please be careful next time; the sandwich fell apart because the bread was so stale, and that ruined the taste too!
