29/04/2026: We made a reservation at this restaurant, but it wasn't even open. It's a wonder a restaurant in this location wouldn't be profitable. I just can't understand it.

10/04/2026: Very expensive and not very good. Even their salad is disappointing and overpriced. You're just paying for the view, which is quite lovely, by the way.

01/06/2026: I ordered, but the drink and ice cream were missing, as always. It's not the first time this has happened.

31/05/2026: Hi, I popped into Roster after my bike and swim to grab a portion of fries and they offered me a free egg mayonnaise. Special mention to the sauce—it was amazing! (And I work in a kitchen and my goal is to be a master sauce maker!) Hats off to them. I won't reveal the secret of the sauce or the mystery ingredient in it, but if anyone figures it out, well done! Thanks for the warm welcome and the chat!

22/04/2026: The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, but the new rooms we discovered were very well-equipped. Thank you again for your kindness despite the staff's working conditions. I highly recommend it.

19/04/2026: Excellent stay, nice room, very good service, very warm welcome, helpful, pleasant, and available staff. The hotel is in a great location, with easy parking and good bus service. Pleasant neighborhood.

12/12/2025: Review of the shop only: superb selection of quality coffees, I've become a regular customer. The quality and taste of the chocolate are truly top-notch 👍 Finally, real chocolate! I especially love the Espresso coffee bar and the dark chocolate/ginger bar ❤️ Bonus: they sometimes have promotions on products nearing their expiration date 👍

09/12/2025: The coffee is always cold and sometimes bad… For a roaster, that's a real shame. And then there's the endless wait… there are four of them working to make three coffees, and you wait ages… If I didn't have to come because my family lives nearby, I'd go somewhere else! Avoid it. What saves them somewhat is the location.

29/05/2026: I went to Roster on Thursday evening, May 28, 2026, and I'd like to thank the staff! The service was impeccable, as was the food. The two waiters were very helpful, professional, and pleasant throughout the evening. I'll gladly return!

21/04/2026: When they say all experiences are valuable, well, I could have done without this one! The service was beyond mediocre. The waiter seated us at our table without asking if we wanted anything to drink (so we only drank tap water during the meal). The food... Unbelievable! A warm goat cheese salad with no dressing and just honey—which is to say, salad dressed with honey isn't good. There were walnuts, which weren't mentioned on the menu. The toast was listed (but wasn't actually there), and on the plate were some kind of frozen, industrially produced puff pastries filled with cheese. The second course, since there were three of us, was another salad, but it was impossible to identify it because it didn't correspond at all to what was listed on the menu (surprise...). And finally, the absolute worst! A Savoyard burger for €23—how can I put it? Even the cheeseburger at McDonald's has more filling. This burger wasn't even worth a Happy Meal! And we paid over €60 for that!!!! It was so mediocre that we left right after our main course and had dessert at the little chalet on the square, which had truly excellent crepes! This restaurant is to be avoided at all costs!!!! Or the manager should completely rethink everything!

14/04/2026: The worrying thing about end of season Avoriaz is that very few of the restaurants are open. However fear not because Les Fontaines Blanches is probably one of the best places to eat in the Haut Savoie. Great staff who are warm and welcoming. It is easy to catch their eye when you need something. The quality of the food is sublime. Our party had: Entrecote aux morelles, (ribeye in mushroom sauce) which was tender and tasty. Tartiflette had a thick cheese and perfect crust, loaded with bacon. Escalope Savoyarde was tender chicken with a layer of ham and cream cheese in a cheese sauce, so delicious. Somebody in the kitchen cares about their customers experience. Yes its a bit more expensive, but so worth it.

29/10/2025: It's a shame I can't give 0 stars, traveling 30km to eat in this restaurant that was listed as open online but closed once I arrived.

12/11/2025: Karaoke night with free paella for singers. Friendly place and owners. Concerts on Friday nights. A great place to rediscover in winter as it's not so common!

11/11/2025: We received a very warm welcome on November 11th. The setting and atmosphere were perfect, and the staff were very pleasant. We had a delicious meal; I highly recommend it!

24/05/2026: Very disappointed. I bought stale, not fresh croissants; the bread was often dry, practically from the day before. Considering the price, it's a disgrace. The more time passes, the worse it gets. I won't be coming back.

08/05/2026: Disappointing. The pastries are very expensive. €6 for a Paris-Brest with buttercream instead of mousseline cream. Better pastries further afield, cheaper, and made according to the original recipe.
