26/08/2026: I've known this bakery for a very long time. Their traditional pastries used to be excellent, but recently they've lost their airy texture, changed in taste, and dry out in less than 24 hours. The size of the croissants and pain au chocolat has also drastically decreased.

03/08/2026: Hello, the welcome was very disappointing and deplorable, and the pizza was barely cooked! We ordered a pizza to eat in, but to our great surprise, the tables were empty at 1:30 pm. We were categorically refused permission to eat there; two people were eating, but apparently, it bothered them that we were eating in. It was 36 degrees Celsius, but they wouldn't listen... What kind of civility and consideration is that? Why not just close the pizzeria if you no longer want to serve your customers?

07/08/2026: Great location in the center of town. Setting in the Alps is as amazing as one could imagine. Did not need to use my car for two days. Check in was very easy. Melissa was great and quite helpful. Room was tiny. I was traveling to Megeve to meet friends so it was ok for one person, but had I been traveling with my spouse it would have been very uncomfortable. 7th hotel I’ve stayed at so far during my 31 day trip to Europe and unfortunately the beds here were the least comfortable of the 7 (Room 9). Basically two twin beds put together to create a “king”. Shower was a disaster. Head points directly toward the door and is unmovable so when I turn it on it sprays right at me and out the door. Also has a handheld wand but I find them to be rather useless. Best feature was the nice terrace, which is where I spent most of my time when I was in the room. Only option in town for World of Hyatt members and for the most part it was a solid experience.

12/07/2026: I had a wonderful stay at this hotel for 4 nights, and one of the highlights was the exceptional service I received during breakfast from Wessim. Although I only had breakfast there one day, he made a lasting impression with his kindness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality. My server, Wessim was attentive, welcoming, and made sure everything was perfect throughout my meal. His friendly attitude and thoughtful service truly added to my experience and made me feel well taken care of. It’s rare to come across someone who takes such pride in their work and goes above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable. Thank you, Wessim, for making my stay even more memorable. The hotel is lucky to have someone like you on their team! I would happily recommend this hotel and hope to return again in the future.

31/08/2026: Awful place very rude on phone shouted at us, and an hour ish after we ordered they told us that most of what we ordered cannot be delivered. Awful customer service.

18/02/2026: Waiting an hour for a pizza and a wrap is a disgrace, and the manager is very unpleasant; you can tell he's overwhelmed, even though it's understandable that it would be busy on a Wednesday during school holidays.

03/08/2026: Short : A Beautiful Lakeside Gem Worth Visiting. On the expensive side so do not expect to come with a budget. Fish is amazing. Detailed : Auberge du Roselet is one of those places where the setting alone makes the visit worthwhile. Perched right on the shores of Lake Annecy, it offers a beautiful lakeside atmosphere with a proper pier/beach area where you can even take a swim before or after your meal. The outdoor seating is exceptional, and if you’re lucky enough to get a table right by the water, the views are absolutely stunning. There’s also ample parking, which makes visiting very convenient. We arrived during a sudden rainstorm without a reservation, and despite the restaurant being quite busy, the staff were kind enough to accommodate the four of us. We really appreciated that, especially considering we only ordered one entrée and three drinks while waiting out the weather. That level of hospitality didn’t go unnoticed. The only area that could use a little improvement is communication with English-speaking guests. While everyone was courteous overall, a bit more warmth and ease in interacting with non-French speakers would make the experience even better for international visitors. Overall, this is a wonderful lakeside restaurant with an unbeatable location, great ambience, and thoughtful service. I’d happily return and would definitely recommend making a reservation if you’re hoping to secure one of the coveted tables right on the lake.

14/05/2026: A very pleasant lunch with quality products and cuisine. We had fried fish as an appetizer, then Arctic char and dessert with beautiful strawberries.

04/08/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A truly wonderful experience at Restaurant 3842! We were warmly welcomed by a particularly friendly and attentive person, which immediately set the tone for this special moment. The meal was a real delight: high-quality, flavorful dishes in an absolutely exceptional setting. The real bonus, in our opinion, is an advantage that many visitors don't know about: when you have lunch at the restaurant, you can fully enjoy the site without being constrained by the usually limited time for sightseeing. This allowed us to experience it at our leisure, admire the scenery, and take the time to appreciate this unique place. An address we wholeheartedly recommend, both for the quality of the welcome and for the cuisine and the overall experience it offers.

25/03/2026: A quaint 5-star hotel just above Megeve. The welcoming property perfectly reflects a mountain home. The staff are the hotel's true asset, whose kindness and attentiveness make for a truly exceptional stay.

22/09/2026: We had dinner here because it was one of the few restaurants in town serving food as early as 6:00 PM. We ordered burgers, which honestly weren't bad. My partner had his with bacon, while I ordered mine without it. About five minutes after we left the restaurant, my partner started vomiting nonstop for about an hour. He also developed diarrhea, and because of the resulting dehydration and physical stress, he ended up with hypothermia. We had to go to the hospital, and the doctor told us that my partner was not the first person to get sick after eating at this restaurant. I don't want to make assumptions about what caused it, but I do think this is important feedback for the restaurant. Please be extra careful with food handling and storage, especially during the summer and warmer months. Hopefully this can help prevent someone else from going through the same experience.

11/09/2026: Very cool place, friendly welcome! Unfortunately, the selection was a bit limited, but perfectly adequate for such a small place. The vegetarian burger was awful. The regular burgers, however, were delicious.
