22/03/2026: This establishment promises a dream, but the reality is quite disappointing. The welcome was mediocre. The breakfast was very basic. The spa was ridiculous, with a small pool and a sauna that didn't work. Luckily, the small jacuzzi and the hammam were functional. We had to leave the establishment early due to a skiing accident, but it's fair to say the staff weren't affected. Their only concern seemed to be quickly re-letting the room so they could make a profit. For the price of the room, one would expect better. Indeed, I could have asked the helicopter taking my daughter to the hospital to make a quick detour to the hotel so I could speak directly with the manager... too bad we didn't really have the time... And what a gesture to refund us for breakfasts we couldn't eat! Truly, bravo! Furthermore, you never offered to refund our night at the hotel. I will never sing the praises of your establishment, and even less so of you personally, believe me. There's no point in reading customer reviews if you never question yourself...

20/03/2026: I have been here after skiing and had a rather negative experience. We ordered some drinks and it took them forever to serve us the drinks. We politely complained about it but the reaction of one of waiters was quite rude. Do not recommend it.

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves: the tartares (salmon and beef) were incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the pasta with morels… a real winner 🤍 The service was warm and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. Special mention for the terrace overlooking the slopes, perfect for soaking up the scenery. And a much-appreciated little extra: the complimentary hats provided for sun protection ☀️ An address we'll definitely be keeping—we'll be back with pleasure!

10/04/2026: The pastries are always delicious, however, the service is very poor when a mistake is made by the cashier. They create a very unpleasant atmosphere of suspicion, and their refusal to check the till to prove my honesty was equally unacceptable.

04/04/2026: Unfortunately, a young waiter was extremely arrogant and very unpleasant. Tall and blond... incredibly disrespectful. Besides never giving the same price for the exact same orders, he took it upon himself to tell us what we should take and how we should speak... he didn't serve chocolatines, only pains au chocolat... and as long as my husband didn't say "pain au chocolat," he wouldn't serve it 😳 Well... given my husband's height and seeing that we weren't amused at all, he finally served the pastries while sighing and rolling his eyes! This establishment is a disaster... getting worse and worse, in any case.

23/05/2026: Excellent cuisine enjoyed on the terrace overlooking Mont Blanc. Fast and efficient service. Friendly and attentive staff. In short, a place to visit and revisit.

28/11/2025: This place is filthy, the meat is plastic-tasting, and the fries are frozen and bought from the supermarket, which they then resell at exorbitant prices. Not to mention the unbearable owner, her lack of professionalism, and the unsanitary conditions—you wouldn't be surprised to find yourself sharing fries with a cockroach. Even the public restrooms at the Carrefour supermarket are more hygienic and pleasant than this restaurant. For the bravest among you, who don't mind poor hygiene and have plenty of money to spend on substandard food, I highly recommend it. For those of you with a bit more civility, I suggest you travel a few extra kilometers and eat somewhere more suitable for a proper restaurant. Sincerely.

25/05/2026: A friendly place where we received a very warm welcome (despite our rather bulky stroller). The waitress was very pleasant. The meal was more like a snack, but well-prepared, with good quality ingredients, so very good as long as you know what to expect. It's still a bistro, so the atmosphere goes with it, but we had a good time.

21/04/2026: The most shocking thing about this whole story is the waitress's arrogance and spitefulness (she's so full of herself, you'd think she owned the place). Dressed in pink like a little girl, she was telling the customers about her travels… We found her completely unprofessional, unfriendly, and downright aggressive, poor thing! We wondered if she'd forgotten to take her medication that morning before coming in. 😆 Hey, madam! If you're here, you need our money! So a little humility wouldn't hurt.

25/04/2026: Excellent restaurant with a beautiful view. The service is really good; the waiters are polite and friendly. Personally, I didn't like the perch fillet, but the people I went with did, so it's a matter of personal taste. I recommend this restaurant.

21/02/2026: Fantastic setting by the lake! This pirate-themed restaurant has a fun and immersive decor. The terrace offers a lovely view of the lake, which is very pleasant. The food is good, simple and efficient, and the staff is friendly. A great place to eat in Yvoir!

04/09/2025: Living in Évian, we've gotten into the habit over the past few months of curiously and enthusiastically exploring the town's restaurants. So far, we've had no real disappointments... until today, unfortunately. Upon our arrival, neither the drinks menu nor the set menu were offered to us spontaneously, so we had to ask. We weren't offered a carafe of water either, which can be surprising in a town like Évian. And no cocktails were offered on the menu, a lack we found regrettable. Regarding the meal: I ordered a blue steak, which was served medium rare. The fries were clearly industrially produced, flavorless and crispy. The bread was slightly stale, which isn't a big deal, but it's still a bit sloppy. The Norwegian salad, for its part, didn't seem very fresh; the salmon had an unappealing flavor, probably from a supermarket, and the vegetables were seriously lacking in vibrancy. Faced with this accumulation of minor disappointments, we decided to interrupt the meal after the main courses. We didn't want to go any further. Finally, an important note: the word "crêperie" is prominently displayed on the front, yet no savory crêpes are offered, only a few sweet crêpes for dessert. This leaves the impression of a mismatch between what is advertised and what is actually offered. In short, a disappointing experience, both in terms of the welcome and the cuisine. We don't plan to return or recommend this establishment as it stands.

19/02/2026: The lack of hygiene in the kitchen and bathroom was appalling. A thorough cleaning would be much appreciated, and I'm referring to the poor reception. It's a shame for the future. Passing through the town, I stayed at the restaurant, which was a disappointment.

13/01/2026: Passing through Seyssel, we stopped at this restaurant which pleasantly surprised us with its short but carefully curated menu and attentive service. The foie gras was very good, the meat was cooked to perfection, and the fried calamari was excellent. The wine list, however, was a bit limited, with few organic wines available. The steak could have been served piping hot, and the shallot sauce was rather bland, but that didn't stop us from having a lovely evening and enjoying a delicious meal. I highly recommend it. The terrace overlooking the Rhône is superb on sunny days.

04/12/2025: I was very surprised by such poor service. In my opinion, you should go into hairdressing; definitely don't go there, the restaurant is catastrophic!!

04/12/2025: A truly awful experience, I strongly advise against it. Run away, stay away! It's catastrophic. I've never, ever, ever seen anything like it. The service was unpleasant, the food was bad and slow, and we waited an hour for two pizzas!!!
