17/03/2026: I do not really understand all the bad reviews. The food was great and the staff were friendly. Surely, it is expensive but all places in the slopes are. If you enjoy French dishes (tartiflette etc) and a beautiful view then this place is great!

07/02/2026: A very bad experience at this restaurant. The meat was served almost raw, the dishes weren't cooked properly, and the ice cream was clearly expired—it had a strange taste and questionable texture. Nothing was right from start to finish. The service was inattentive and no real solutions were offered. Frankly disappointing; I do not recommend it.

22/03/2026: We received a very warm welcome, the service was quick, the food was excellent, and the staff were very attentive to our 15-month-old child. We will definitely return during our stay, as our experience at this restaurant was the complete opposite of the negative reviews we had read.

18/03/2026: 1 star is too much. Service was terrible. Long wait for our order to be taken. Waiter seemed to spend more time on his phone. Food was an embarrassment to French cuisine. Steak served raw then nuked in a microwave. Absolutely drenched in some unidentified 'sauce' with tinned vegetables and 9 chips. Paid £28 for that. Splendid stuff. Had the audacity to actually ask for a tip 🤣 I'll give you a tip... train your staff and employ a new chef.

16/02/2026: A warm welcome and efficient service from a smiling team made for a very pleasant Sunday evening. The appetizer platter was a little small, but the butternut squash was delicious and the daily special was tempting. A very good dessert to finish on a sweet note. The bill was a bit pricey, but consistent with the quality and the occasion. A great place to remember 😊

21/12/2025: The waitress was nice, but the only downside was the €15 salad with very unappealing lettuce leaves. I pointed it out to the waitress, but there was no apology from the kitchen staff. Shame on them!

08/11/2025: Excellent steak tartare prepared right before your eyes. Prompt service despite the restaurant being full. Very reasonable price considering the quality and quantity. Thank you for this relaxing break.

18/02/2026: Getting worse and worse. Prices are getting higher and higher for fewer and fewer ingredients. A McDonald's sandwich reduced to 9cm. And don't even get me started on the Big Tasty, which is now only the size of a Big Mac and has nothing "Big" about it except the price. The Happy Meal is €4 with extras if you get fries (+€0.50), a McDonald's sandwich (+€0.50), a Capri Sun (+€0.95), pineapple, or applesauce (+€0.50). In the end, the Happy Meal costs almost €6. And I'm not even mentioning the Extreme 2-meat burger, which is almost €20 as a meal deal.

15/02/2026: Hey everyone, today I'm in Annecy, and more specifically at the McDonald's in Rumilly! I'm pleasantly surprised because it's the first time I've seen a McDonald's so clean, so fast, with such friendly staff, and the food is exceptionally good quality too! 😇 In short, I recommend this McDonald's a thousand times over! 😁😁

10/03/2026: Probably an absent manager, otherwise how can you explain one of the employees yelling "SHUT UP" at every turn, calling his colleagues "beggars," and having fun with one of his "comrades" throwing potatoes at each other before casually putting them back in the hot food bin? Shameful. 8 PM Tuesday, March 10th

08/03/2026: When I ordered takeout today, the fries from the set menus were missing, and worst of all – and this is the first time this has ever happened to me – a cheeseburger without a patty!!!

05/03/2026: The pros: magical location, cleanliness, and the service, which has improved considerably this year. The cons: the food: firstly, it's a self-service restaurant, and secondly, the food selection is basic, incomparable to most mountain restaurants in Megève—for example—yet the prices reflect those of mountain restaurants. That said, the food is quite well cooked, coffee aside. Note a comment made today to an English-speaking customer: the manager is anti-Trump to the point of boycotting Coca-Cola. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, even to the point of missing Khamenei, but it seems to me that in business, one should refrain from sharing it.

22/09/2025: Poor quality bike and definitely not maintained! Derails several times and is so seized up that even when going downhill the bike stops! Do a few more km and you will find much better quality bikes at the same price!

20/01/2026: Ideal for a quick bathroom break. The place is very clean, but the food is indigestible and bland. At least the pizzas and burgers are.

19/01/2026: The manager saved our evening; we were late wanting to go out to eat and she didn't refuse to serve us. A very warm welcome, a lovely person, and frankly, the burgers were delicious.

30/01/2026: We had a very good lunch on Monday. We paid €39.40 for two, including a small bottle of sparkling water and a Chinese beer. Good value for money, highly recommended.

20/01/2026: Okay, granted, it was 1:30 PM. No problem with a buffet that wasn't overflowing at that hour... but what was there was really mediocre, just not tasty at all. In short, I should have read the latest reviews...

28/02/2026: The worst restaurant we’ve been to during our week in Chamonix. The staff showed funeral faces and were arrogant toward clients. The waiter, Sabri, who served us didn’t speak and simply pointed to where we should sit. The salad was just plain green leaves with low-quality tomatoes. Very disappointing overall.

28/02/2026: Absolutely appalling place. They could not care less. Do not be sucked in. They ignore you, act like you’re an inconvenience, drop food off with a clatter, use your table as a staging area, go off and have a smoke, let you go get your own cutlery from other tables … and then when you’re paying expect a tip. “You give a tip for the service” … “the service was terrible”.

18/01/2026: Disappointing country bread. (3+1) A loaf without salt (not requested without salt) – not great, an oversight? Very frustrating when your guests point it out!!

31/12/2025: I called this morning for information, and someone answered in a silly voice while their colleagues laughed in the background. It was like a school playground! 👏
