05/09/2024: The rooms are very basic but I gave 5 stars because they are clean and excellent value for the price. The service was faultless. I gave 5 stars for location which may be a little misleading for some people as it is about 15 mins from Morzine (the main ski and mountain bike area) but is is a lovely little hamlet which was ideal for us. We had dinner on the terrace and listened to live music. A most enjoyable experience with a very reasonable bill at the end and one we won't forget for a long time. Hope to be back there again in the near future.

They speak English, they sing, they strum in jam sessions, it’s great fun 😍
Dinner is wonderful, we finish the children’s plate because it’s so good. The wait is long but honestly, it's worth the detour!

13/09/2024: Had an amazing meal with a beautiful view of Lake Annecy. The service was impeccable with friendly, outgoing servers. The food was delicious. Will definitely come back if in the area.

31/08/2024: Pleasant place for lunch or simply to buy the farm's produce. Very welcoming staff.
29/08/2024: We visited the farm and we liked it.
We sat on the terrace with magnificent sunshine to have a drink and an aperitif board. We also ate. The choices are simple and effective.
Fair price. The plates are loaded with more room for dessert. The pleasant waitress. Finally we went through the store. The prices are good and this is how it’s done 😉

Agneau fondant, brochettes d'agneau excellentes, poulet tendre et merguez bien croustillantes.
Avec une semoule ni trop fine ni trop grosse : la perfection même dans la petite touche décorative de cercles de cannelle...
Notre meilleure expérience de couscous.
La tajine de poulet aux olives et citrons confits est aussi délicieuse et très généreusement servie.
24/06/2024: Nothing like a good couscous to lift your spirits. At Le Palmier, you won't leave hungry, it's just tasty, hearty and delights the palate.
We are very well received there, the atmosphere is warm.
Everything has been thought of, from the baby chair to access for people with reduced mobility.
I'll let you discover this very nice place.

31/07/2024: The entire experience was exceptional, with the highlight being the food, which was simply exquisite. Each dish melted in our mouths, showcasing amazing and unique flavours that truly highlighted the essence of Japanese cuisine and its traditions. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Overall, it was a 10/10 experience—I couldn't have asked for more!

18/08/2024: Bon plat de poisson avec un accompagnement très varié de la bonne cuisine française. La vue depuis la terrasse est magnifique sur le Leman. Globalement une bonne experiance !

On site or to take away. Delivery possible with Chablivraison.
Never disappointed, a treat. I love pokoras (eggplant and potato fritters, chickpea flour and spices), chicken butter or curry or tikka massala or korma, lamb korma, prawns massala and Kashmiri rice.
03/07/2024: Certainly not the best Indian restaurant in the area. Food not particularly good. Terrible service. We are in the restaurateur's family living room. The little boy plays his bike in the middle of the restaurant, the big girl helps clumsily, the mother takes orders in an unpleasant tone, the food is almost thrown in people's faces, etc.
Come for a birthday with a cake from outside (with prior authorization from the restaurant owner). The boss comes at dessert time with a plate in one hand and her son in the other to claim (demand) like a beggar a piece of the birthday cake. Without embarrassment or shame. There's nothing good in this restaurant except mineral water. Flee, poor fools!

It is rare to find bars today where each beer is served as it should be: good glass, good temperature etc.... thank you I will come back

04/09/2024: Small hotel in a good location, easy to park. Sufficient room to sleep in, clean and quiet. Small downside, no electrical outlet in the bathroom. Breakfast, simple, good pastries and good bread. Welcoming and attentive owner couple
30/07/2024: /!\ Contrary to what Maps displays, the location is not permanently closed.
We spent a very pleasant night at the Kinkerne Hotel. The owners are very welcoming. The hotel has a few parking spaces right outside. The rooms are comfortable and have private bathrooms and toilets. The breakfast was very good and quite plentiful.
We will come back with pleasure for future hiking trips.
