06/08/2026: The service and welcome were very pleasant and attentive. The food was excellent, with the fish cooked to perfection and a truly delightful interplay of flavors. Perhaps the portion was a tiny bit small if you only order a main course and dessert. But overall, a lovely restaurant in Annecy with a beautiful setting.

10/08/2026: A very warm welcome and a lovely setting with a sunset over the lake. The meal was delicious: red curry with chicken, scallops, and shrimp, as well as a vegetarian pad thai. The flavors were perfectly balanced, reminding us of Thailand. The cocktails were also not too sweet, which was much appreciated. A flawless dinner for our 21-month-old twins.

25/07/2026: I had lunch yesterday at noon. I ordered a Milanese-style veal cutlet, and the meat was very dry and undercooked. I pointed this out, but the waitress didn't react. After finishing my meal, which I ate anyway, given the lack of interest in my complaint, and after reiterating my dissatisfaction, no one came to see me or ask for an explanation. I don't find this professional. That's why, as a resident of Thonon, I will certainly be spreading the word about this brasserie, even though I've been a customer for many years.

02/08/2026: We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The welcome was very pleasant and attentive. The house cocktail was exquisite, the steak tartare excellent, and the meat was perfect. The mashed potatoes and vegetables were full of flavor and cooked to perfection. Thank you for this lovely experience. This restaurant is well worth a visit.

30/07/2026: I never knew tartare could be this delicious. It was mixed with roasted nuts and leeks, and I enjoyed it with fried onions and balsamic vinegar. The scattered leeks added a vibrant touch and were just the right amount to enhance the flavor of the tartare. The taste and texture were similar to negitoro (minced tuna with green onions) sushi. Is this amount typical for tartare at a French restaurant? Perhaps because I savored it slowly, I felt a sense of relief, like I could eat and eat but still wanted more. I was happy to fill up on tartare. The mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables and sauces, the foie gras appetizer, the main fish dish, and the Friday-only hamburger were all incredibly delicious.

06/07/2026: The atmosphere is fantastic and the food is incredible! This is the place to be in Avoriaz for a festive break right on the slopes. The atmosphere under the sun is magical, perfect for après-ski with breathtaking mountain views. As for the food, it's pure bliss: their truffle pizza is simply exceptional, generous and fragrant, ideal to pair with a good glass of wine. The staff are super energetic and friendly despite the crowds. An experience not to be missed!

08/06/2026: I've been to La Folie Douce two years now – and it's been fantastic every time! Great DJs, great music, no cover charge, drink prices are perfectly reasonable for après-ski, friendly staff, cool dancers, clean restrooms, and always a fun atmosphere among the guests. Plus, they regularly have great themed parties (like Aperol Spritz). I'll be skiing in Avoriaz again next year, so I'll definitely be visiting La Folie Douce regularly!

04/08/2026: A truly beautiful restaurant in the heart of Megève. It boasts a magnificent, flower-filled, and unspoiled setting, ideally located in the center of the resort. The cuisine is refined, flavorful, and demonstrates genuine expertise. We thoroughly enjoyed the carefully prepared and flavorful dishes. The staff is also very pleasant. I highly recommend this restaurant for the quality of its gastronomy, its exceptional setting, and its excellent value for money.

26/07/2026: We stopped by to watch a World Cup match and got lucky with an outdoor table that had a clear view of the large TV. Despite being incredibly busy, the staff managed the crowd beautifully and served our glasses of rosé quickly. Unfortunately, the kitchen had already closed, so we missed out on trying their delicious-looking food. They host regular events like trivia, so it's worth checking their online calendar. Bonus: they also take reservations online!

26/07/2026: We came this evening for an aperitif and a drink. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The welcome was very cold, and despite being seated, no server came to take our order or even ask if we wanted anything. After waiting for 15 minutes without any attention whatsoever, we decided to leave. It's a shame, because the setting seemed pleasant, but the service was really subpar.
