20/06/2026: We visited during a heatwave, and the restaurant had no air conditioning at all, making the atmosphere very hot and uncomfortable. Additionally, despite the place not being overly busy, it took quite a while for us to be seated. There was a bit of a language barrier as not all staff members speak English, which resulted in us receiving items we didn't actually order. Finally, the meal was relatively expensive, and we felt the food quality didn't quite justify the price. Overall, I wouldn't really recommend it.

30/03/2026: The Scala restaurant in Pithiviers is an institution, part of the town's history, and has been there for over 38 years. The Scala, which has never once been a problem for me (people of Pithiviers), has wanted to sell for ages. The staff (the owner) are tired of the environment and the shop next door. They say it every day: "We can't take the shop or the people around the Scala anymore." Isn't it time for the Scala, after so many years, to retire?

06/06/2026: Tonight my little girl ordered from this place: Three "pizzas" with three centimeters of "sidewalk" on them, thick crust, and hardly any toppings. Yuck!! It's a rip-off!!! Run away!

28/05/2026: The restaurant was recommended to us for its pizzas. Given the outside temperature, we were offered the daily menu without a menu or prices. I ordered a fisherman's salad, very plain, with no garnish or personal touch. I also ordered ice cream and coffee. High price for a mediocre meal.

20/05/2026: What can I say? Excellent pizza. Authentic cuisine. Perfect service. Definitely one of the best value-for-money experiences I've ever had. P.S.: The manager told me they want to sell, stop them!!!

16/06/2026: It had been a while since I'd been there, really disappointed. The pizza dough was elastic, they no longer accepted restaurant vouchers, and so on.

16/06/2026: Whenever we want to eat in Macon, we always come here! The food is good and the value for money is excellent! The waitresses are always smiling and the cooks are top-notch! The owners are real bon vivants, so it's a real pleasure to come to this restaurant! Besides, if you're looking for a touch of Italian style, the terrace is perfect for you! It's covered in flowers, it's magnificent! We'll be back again and again, and that's coming from an Italian pizza expert 😉
