24/04/2026: My deepest condolences to the restaurant owner who recently lost his mother (AFP report). Otherwise, the restaurant's management cannot excuse certain behaviors which, in my opinion, are inappropriate! I think the person can still recognize themselves even years later

03/02/2026: Arriving there by chance… as a tourist, alone, I felt surrounded, I ate excellent Italian food and I was also welcomed and assisted by the waiter/manager who also invited newcomers to the neighborhood to come back if needed….excellent moment..

24/08/2026: A great find! The homemade fish and chips were excellent. The quality and quantity were both top-notch. The service was friendly. The children's menu was also very well done. I highly recommend it.

13/10/2026: It was really good, I was surprised, the sauce was delicious. The atmosphere was like a good open-air café, so there were children running around and it was a bit noisy, but very good.

19/09/2026: Excellent food, the waitress Lili is bubbly and lovely. Quick service, impeccable hygiene. The dishes are varied, well-prepared, simple but excellent.

The waitress was nice but made inappropriate remarks, the owner smoked while preparing cocktails behind the bar, the kids' menu arrived in 4 minutes with questionable-looking nuggets, and I spent the whole afternoon trying to digest the overcooked pasta and the not-so-great sauce...

27/09/2026: My mom and I had an absolutely terrible experience. The waiter was rude and aggressive, and the staff seemed to dislike tourists and didn’t even know how to speak to customers properly. Avoid this grill restaurant. We left and went to another restaurant nearby. Happened Sunday 27th September at 5:30 pm

23/08/2026: What can I say when it gets all those stars? Try it; it's the only way to understand and appreciate it. Perhaps the best meat I've eaten here in France (I've been in France for three months). The staff is kind and professional.

The restaurant offers a good wine list featuring local wines, as well as typical regional dishes. A family-run hotel that stands out from impersonal resorts. 07/06/2026: A superb hotel in a truly sublime setting in the heart of the countryside, with service that far exceeded our expectations. The staff and managers were very pleasant and offered excellent advice. I recommend it 100%.

19/09/2026: My friend and I had the most fun at this bar on our international trip. Being from America, we’re both talkers and the environment there was awesome.

17/09/2026: The tall, gray-haired security guard with a goatee kicked our friend out as soon as we arrived over a completely unfounded bicycle incident, claiming that "a group with two Arabs" had damaged his bike. We asked to see a manager, and the security guard said, "I'm the boss." Once we found a bartender who claimed to be "in charge," the guard immediately told him we couldn't go in without even hearing our side of the story. It's a disgrace to treat people based on their skin color. Avoid this place!

08/10/2026: A friend recommended Les Ombres, and we made reservations well in advance. The location is easy to find, via metro or via car as there’s parking nearby. We went up to the restaurant, and were promptly welcomed, and seated on a nice table by the window. I was expecting a bit more clearer view of the Eiffel Tower, but overall it’s nice as you can step outside and have an unobstructed million dollar view. Our servers were very helpful. We had a couple of drinks, and enjoyed the views. The service is not rushed, we had arrived soon after opening at 7:15pm. An excellent time to enjoy the sunset and then the tower lights. They offer Prix fixe of about a 100e menu with good options. Though expect to pay 10-15e more for anything a bit more interesting like steak. They served a delicious hummus starter, and our apps were executed really well. I was quite happy with the grilled octopus and the steak came out nice. The flavors are good, the plating is decent. Not as spectacular as I had expected at this price point, but made us happy. Between courses we stepped out for pictures, and enjoyed the sparkling lights of the Eiffel tower. They flicker the inside lights to signal the towers on the hour. So that’s nice. I loved the fig pavlova, which was indeed excellent. The service overall was good and warm. But again at this price point, I was expecting more regular check ins and attention. The decor is a bit old style but clean and efficient. We enjoyed it. The crowd is a mix of tourists and people celebrating events. So that makes for nice atmosphere. We stayed for about 2hrs. We were lingering and the manager told us they had more guests waiting but we can hang out outside. Which I think is fair and generous. We enjoyed some more views from outside and then called it a day. It’s a bit pricy as more delicious food is available in Paris at better prices. But the combined experience is definitely worth it. The views, the ambiance, creat good memories. We were here as tourists enjoying the whole experience, so on that front the place delivered and delivered pretty well. Highly recommend.

07/10/2026: Food was disappointed. We asked the beef for medium however it was dry and became medium well done. The chicken dish is with too much mushrooms, not a great combination. The waitress needs to go back for training. She made a lot of noises while serving the table. Toilet was very dark and smelly. If you go there for food, I don't recommend. You can go there for the view on a dry and sunny day. It was raining when we got there, outdoor seats were not available.

06/09/2026: I've never had such a bad meal in a restaurant. I ordered stir-fried noodles, which smelled burnt because they must have stuck to the bottom of the pot, and the five-spice duck was incredibly dry, like shoe leather! When I mentioned my complaints, I received no apology whatsoever! On the contrary, I was told that duck meat cooked on the hot plate should be eaten dry! The culinary standards were appalling!

01/10/2026: People come to Bellerive for the location, and they keep coming back for the friendly service and simple menu. The food is good, though not particularly noteworthy compared to other local bistros, and the vegetarian options are a welcome touch. The prices are also average. But the service is exceptional! You're always warmly welcomed with humor and courtesy.

03/06/2026: Fantastic stay! Atmospheric room, comfortable bed, and a bath. (Didn't use the bath, it was a hot day). Do ask at reception if the air conditioning can be turned on. The location is so beautiful and the surroundings are amazing too. Real "old-fashioned" French cottages surrounded by multicolored fields. Plenty of bird sounds. Truly relaxing for walking the dog in the area. A really dog-friendly hotel; the food and water bowls were already set out and there were also biscuits for the dog. He felt very welcome.🐾

18/05/2026: A superb experience this Sunday at Domaine de Clairefontaine! We came to celebrate two birthdays and had a truly memorable day. Everything was perfect: from the incredibly warm welcome to the impeccable service, not forgetting the delightful coffee break in the sunny park. Thank you to the whole team for this wonderful time together. We highly recommend it!
