21/07/2026: Dinner for a group of 9. The restaurant has several rooms, each with its own decor. Religious images adorn the entrance. A skylight in the middle makes the room bright, giving the impression of being outdoors. The back room is larger, with a wood-paneled decor and many mirrors on the walls. It can accommodate large tables (10-12 people) with more space between them. The high ceilings make it less noisy. The pizzas were good, a reliable choice. The pasta dishes were less impressive, not generous enough for those who ordered them. We were very disappointed with the desserts. The tiramisu was either classic or made with red berries, but tasteless. There weren't enough ladyfingers, and they felt soggy. Too much cream, making them heavy. The lemon tart had an aftertaste of refrigerator (which had been stored with garlic-seasoned food). It was inedible, and the portion was tiny (smaller than what you'd buy in a store). Order ice cream instead. The cocktails were good, with a minimum price of €9. Otherwise, the atmosphere was pleasant.

21/07/2026: Great experience! The service was quick. It was quite noisy as it was very busy, but other than that, everything was perfect. The salmon was a little too salty for my taste, but otherwise, the dish was very good. The portions were decent; I even took some home. I ordered a cocktail, but it was too sweet—probably from the syrup, but I really struggled with it.

The batter is thin and crispy, just the way I like it, the fillings are well-balanced and varied (from the simplest to some original creations), and the service is very satisfactory. Made to order and requiring a lot of attention to ensure good galettes, the pace might be a little slow for those in a hurry, but it's worth the wait. I wouldn't have stopped in Mauriac for nothing, unlike in other towns that struggle to offer affordable, efficient, and generous dining options. Special mention goes to the Capri crêpe with its delicious goat cheese, and the artisanal ice cream served with the sweet crêpes. They use a mix of local products (cheese, wines), homemade jams, and Breton flours. Guémené andouille sausage is also on the menu, which is extremely rare these days! In short, a well-thought-out crêperie that stays true to the values ​​of Brittany!

26/05/2026: My second visit to Villa de L’Étang Blanc, and the experience was even more memorable than the first. Truly Michelin-starred cuisine that, in my opinion, richly deserves a second star. The setting is both sumptuous and enchanting, nestled in a magnificent park by the pond, the place immediately invites you to disconnect and escape. On the plate, everything is remarkable: fresh, perfectly prepared ingredients, refined dishes where aesthetics enhance the flavor. Each creation is a delight for both the eyes and the palate, a true awakening of the senses. A timeless, exceptional experience, driven by the passion and immense talent of Chef David Sulpice, who conveys genuine emotion through his cuisine. The service is impeccable, highly professional, and never stuffy. Every touch is genuine and natural. Special mention must also go to Magali, his wife, whose elegant and warm presence fully contributed to making this an unforgettable experience. The Michelin-starred menu is well worth its price considering the quality and experience offered. An exceptional establishment that I can't wait to return to.

05/08/2026: If you’re visiting Lyon and looking for a café with outstanding service and a wonderful atmosphere, this is the place to go. What truly made this café special was the incredible customer service. The staff were exceptionally friendly, dedicated, and genuinely cared about making every guest happy. They were even willing to customize drinks and food based on personal preferences, even if it wasn’t exactly listed on the menu. That level of flexibility and care is something you rarely find. The café itself was spotless. Every single table was perfectly clean without a single mark or crumb in sight. The indoor air conditioning made it a comfortable place to relax, especially on a warm day. The view is another highlight. From the café you can enjoy a beautiful view of a castle with the French flag proudly flying, creating a truly authentic French atmosphere. The interior design is stylish, modern, and full of French charm. One detail I especially loved was the creative artwork featuring the number “69”—a fun and memorable touch that fits Lyon perfectly. The location is also excellent. Right nearby there’s a casino if you’re in the mood for some entertainment after your coffee, as well as a clothing store if you’d like to do a bit of shopping. I would recommend this café to absolutely everyone—tourists, locals, families, friends, couples, and honestly anyone looking for a great place to relax. If cafés could be rated by every species, I’m sure even birds, rabbits, cows, and chameleons would give this place five stars. Overall, this café combines exceptional service, a beautiful atmosphere, immaculate cleanliness, stunning views, and an excellent location. Without a doubt, it’s one of the places I’ll make sure to visit again the next time I’m in Lyon

16/06/2026: We stumbled upon this Portuguese restaurant during an impromptu lunch, and what a pleasant surprise! The €16 lunch menu offers a starter, main course, and dessert, all of remarkable quality. We were particularly impressed by the dish recommended by the owner: cod à la Braga. The cod fillet was exquisite, with a crispy exterior and a fresh interior, accompanied by delicious potato slices. The elegant presentation of the dish was also noteworthy. The homemade flan for dessert, garnished with a slice of orange and caramel, was the perfect ending to this delicious meal. The service was impeccable, the value for money excellent, and the quality of the food undeniable. We highly recommend this establishment and look forward to returning. I've also included photos of the dishes we enjoyed to share this visual experience with others.

31/05/2026: Ideal for festive birthdays, the group menu offers a variety of high-quality choices. The only slight drawback is that if there are latecomers to a group booking, the others can't order an aperitif.

It has everything: an exceptional setting on the port, a pleasant atmosphere, a varied menu with delicious dishes, and perfectly crafted cocktails. Every meal was a true pleasure, featuring high-quality ingredients and generous portions. The staff is simply wonderful, always smiling, welcoming, and attentive. A special mention goes to Sandra in the dining room, whose kindness, professionalism, and good humor greatly contributed to making our meals even more enjoyable. This is the kind of place you're delighted to discover and recommend without hesitation. We will definitely return on our next trip to Frioul. 13/06/2026: Original concept: a restaurant where customers aren't served. We waited, and waited, and waited some more. No greeting, no menu, not a glance. We finally asked for a menu ourselves, naively thinking that would get things moving. What a mistake. Customers who arrived after us were served without any problem while we stared into the emptiness and listened to the staff's heated discussions a few feet from our table. Special mention goes to the manager, who seems to have developed an allergy to friendliness. The welcome was icy, the attitude haughty, and the service nonexistent. The restrooms were in the same vein: unkempt, unclean, no toilet paper. I thought I was going to a restaurant. Clearly, it was a social experiment designed to test our patience.

13/06/2026: Absolutely incomprehensible. No welcome, no smiles, nobody even came to see us. After waiting for over 10 minutes, we had to ask for a menu ourselves, and then nothing. Tables that arrived after us were served while we were completely ignored. The manager is particularly cold and haughty. It's a shame, because in three years in this neighborhood, I've never experienced such poor service.

18/06/2026: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An exceptional experience with Casa Frango! As an event planner, I'm always on the lookout for the best caterers to satisfy my clients. For a child's christening, I was asked to find an excellent Portuguese chicken caterer… and I chose Casa Frango based on their reputation. Honestly, what a great find! The delivery was perfectly on time, which is essential for any event. The quantities were simply impressive: more than enough to feed all the guests, with even some left over for the next day! As for the taste, nothing to complain about: the chicken was flavorful, well-seasoned, and above all, not dry. A real treat! The side dishes were just as delicious: carrot rice, pepper rice, potatoes… everything was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Honestly, it was flawless. I'll definitely use them again for my next events, and I 100% recommend them to all lovers of good Portuguese chicken. Go for it! 🔥🍗
