12/05/2026: Typical yet unique. A small bar/restaurant where the food (Portuguese specialties) is homemade and the owner goes out of his way to make you feel welcome. He was managing the bar and restaurant all by himself, yet he still took excellent care of his customers. Thank you.

06/04/2026: The welcome was so-so, no smiles, cold. The food hygiene was poor; when they opened the kitchen door, you could see the very dirty walls and floor. When you order and eat there, they make mistakes among themselves, there's a lack of communication between staff, and when you ask for the food that's still in the mix, the manager gets involved. He's unpleasant and aggressive towards the customer. The cheese wasn't chilled, and at 30 degrees Celsius, it was our first time there, and it will be our last. I will spread the word about the staff, especially the manager who is impolite. A Coke costs €3.50, pff. I advise you against eating there.

23/03/2026: A wonderful discovery! We usually go for drinks, but recently we had lunch there. The place is lovely, even though they're currently doing some exterior renovations. Everyone is friendly and attentive to your needs. They all offer great advice. The food is simple but excellent. Nothing but positives. You should definitely go!

09/05/2026: The atmosphere was bad, but the main problem was the rudeness of a waitress, a blonde woman who was disrespectful to the customers, even resorting to insults. Unfortunately for her, the customers heard. As for the rest of the staff, they were very good, although there weren't many of them in the dining room. So I'll go back and see how it goes this time.

09/05/2026: We were extremely disappointed. We sat down to eat sugar and chestnut crepes, supposedly homemade, but they weren't fresh at all. I'd even say they were disgusting—dry, the chestnut cream was practically nonexistent, and as for the sugar crepes, they were just sprinkled with a little powdered sugar. To me, they were just the kind of crepes you get in a packet to reheat. Absolutely avoid this place! 🤮👎👎

15/06/2026: The people of Blois miss this restaurant! I remain a loyal customer of this family-run establishment! It's not easy to find such a warm and welcoming restaurant in the city center!

14/06/2026: We had a confirmed reservation a few days ago. Upon arrival, we were told it was closed! And for good reason: an administrative closure, which I saw in the press today. The neighboring restaurant, "Poivre et Sel," is in the same boat—same manager for both, so clearly the same problem warrants an administrative closure. This is very serious and should be avoided at all costs!

08/04/2026: Thank you to Marcia and Philippe, we chose their restaurant O AVEIRO to celebrate the christening of our nine-year-old daughter with our family. There were 26 of us on Sunday, April 5, 2026. Everything was perfect, from the service to the delicious food. We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return! 👍

The dishes were generous and delicious, with authentic Portuguese flavors. A friendly place where you eat well and feel comfortable, perfect for a night out with friends after a motorcycle ride.
