15/12/2025: This Léon de Bruxelles in the northern part of Auxerre is typical of the chain: you go there without any surprises, but you know you'll get a decent meal. The menu is, of course, focused on seafood, but offers a few options if you don't like fish. I tried the Léon Casserole, which was good, although the amount of fish was a bit small and probably frozen. Be careful with the garnish: although it says sweet potatoes, it's mostly potatoes (about 80%). The paella was okay, but it's more of a French-style paella, nothing exceptional, and the rice used isn't ideal for this dish. Note that the drinks are quite expensive. Overall: It's a reliable restaurant for a quick meal if you're not looking for anything original. A decent choice.

The entrance to the toilet is also located very close to the food products, which raises serious concerns. Overall, while the taste was good, the cleanliness and hygiene conditions were unacceptable and need significant improvement.

23/07/2026: Disappointing Experience at Clichy Tavern I went into this café simply to order a coffee on the terrace. The person at the bar started explaining the price difference between terrace and counter service, even though I hadn't asked about the prices—I had simply ordered a coffee on the terrace. When I pointed out that I hadn't asked the price, she told me she didn't like my manner of speaking and that she couldn't serve me. I find this behavior inappropriate for an establishment that receives the public. A simple misunderstanding could have been cleared up without this kind of reaction. Based on this experience, I do not recommend this establishment.

23/07/2026: We went there for my aunt's birthday, a party of 11. The staff was unfriendly, the service was sloppy, the meal was bland and forced upon us, and two children ate Herta sausages with raw fries without even consulting the menu. The total bill came to €430, with no compensation offered by the manager despite our complaints about the meal. Avoid this place at all costs; we went home even hungrier.

20/07/2026: This kind of comment is really not like me. We arrived to help with our children's move around, around 12:15 pm, and asked about having lunch for six people, including one child. We were told NO, there wasn't room for six. I must admit we still don't understand. There was plenty of space on the terrace, and the dining room was empty. Perhaps we'll get an explanation, because that day it was pointless to ask...

19/07/2026: Too bad I can't give zero stars... We stopped by on a whim, arrived, the manager gave us a dirty look and, without even saying hello, simply told us "WE ARE FULL" and left without a word of apology, goodbye, nothing at all! Well... You should be a little more polite, madam.

17/07/2026: A very good experience at L'Euphrate in Anglet. The welcome is warm and the staff are friendly, which immediately puts you at ease. The dishes are generous, well-prepared, and served quickly. The ingredients are fresh, the flavors are spot on, and the portions are substantial. The restaurant is clean, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the service remains attentive even when it's busy. The value for money is excellent. I gladly recommend this place to anyone who wants to share a good meal in a convivial atmosphere. I will happily return.

27/07/2026: Nice bar, it's a shame they refuse to serve hot drinks after 6pm to encourage alcohol consumption (apparently Irish Coffee is not a hot drink according to them since my partner was able to be served).

25/07/2026: This is my second visit to this bar. On my first visit, I received a very warm welcome. The service was friendly and the staff very welcoming. However, on my second visit, I encountered someone who served me in a very unpleasant manner. She placed the glasses down without any consideration, which left a very bad impression. I don't know if this attitude was related to the color of my skin; I'm not certain, but that's the feeling I got. Despite this negative experience, I still recommend this establishment, as it's a friendly place with a good atmosphere and a lively crowd.
