The owners and the waiter are always attentive, with a thoughtful welcome and impeccable service. An excellent place that I wholeheartedly recommend to all lovers of good beer and good times with friends.

26/05/2026: A wonderful evening at La Porte Saint-Claire We had an excellent experience last night at this restaurant in Annecy. From the very first bite, the accras were light, perfectly seasoned, and delicious. For the main course, we enjoyed a Caribbean beef fillet and Arctic char, both cooked to perfection with incredibly fresh ingredients. The red berry dessert followed the same theme: simple yet excellent. But what truly sets this place apart is the atmosphere and the warm welcome. Pauline and Théo provide attentive and natural service, without ever being intrusive. As for Laurent, the chef-owner, you can tell he runs his establishment with great care—and has done so for over 30 years. In an industry where restaurants close as quickly as they open, 30 years at the same establishment is no small feat. Our neighbors at the next table had opted for the €27 three-course menu and seemed delighted—a formula we'll likely try next time. A handy bonus: the Porte Sinclair parking lot is right next door. An address well worth a visit in Annecy. See you soon!

25/03/2026: I am extremely disappointed. My 17-year-old daughter went to buy a tuna pizza to take away. There were large chunks of tuna on top, not flaked, and I find the price very high for a tuna pizza (€18). My daughter also told me the waitress wasn't welcoming.

22/03/2026: A wonderful discovery for lovers of Savoyard cuisine! The charcuterie was of very high quality and the fondue was simply excellent; generous and flavorful, a real treat. One small drawback: a green salad on the side would have been welcome to add a touch of freshness to the meal. As for the service, it was adequate but clearly lacked warmth and friendliness. Finally, the place could use a little updating, as the atmosphere is rather dated. Despite these minor points, we had a great time and will certainly return.

05/05/2026: Review of Thali Restaurant Annemasse Order placed via Uber Eats, with an overall very positive experience. The delivery was a little slower than expected, but the food arrived still hot, which was much appreciated. The packaging was clean, well-sealed, and neat; no complaints there. As for the food, a very pleasant surprise. The dishes were flavorful, well-seasoned, and rich in taste. The spices were perfectly balanced: they enhanced the dishes without being overpowering or cloying. There was a real sense of quality in the preparation, with flavors that were a welcome change from the ordinary. The portions were generous and allowed for a satisfying meal. It was hearty, satisfying food that was enjoyable from start to finish. Despite a slightly long wait, the quality of the food more than made up for it. It's a great place to discover or rediscover Indian cuisine from the comfort of your own home. Overall, a great delivery experience that makes me want to try the restaurant in person to fully enjoy the ambiance and service. I recommend it 👍
