25/06/2026: Excellent place! The recipes are made fresh on-site, varied, seasonal, and have a touch of the exotic. I've been 3-4 times already and highly recommend it! Suggestion: a system of reusable glass containers to reduce waste?

23/03/2026: Okay, I admit I mainly go there for one of their "specialties": banana rum 😉 and I'm even willing to go out of my way for this delicious, perfectly warming drink 🔥🍵 within reason 😉 A well-served shot for €1.50 - excellent value for money 👍 Check it out if you're passing by La Colombière 🤩 which isn't difficult, just take the Serpentine (green run) on the left as you exit the Rosay chairlift 😉 Sunny terrace ☀️ very nice and the waitress is very friendly and smiling 🤗

02/08/2026: We had a wonderful time at Chalet du Port! The setting is beautiful and very pleasant, ideal for enjoying a delicious meal in a relaxed atmosphere. The beef tartare was absolutely excellent and presented with great care. A real treat! A huge thank you also to the service, which was impeccable. They even took the time to warm up the milk for our baby's bottle. A special mention goes to the waiter, who was incredibly kind, helpful, smiling, and extremely attentive. He is truly a wonderful person who makes the experience even more enjoyable. We will definitely return and highly recommend this restaurant!

30/07/2026: Impeccable service despite the wait, we ate well. One waiter was working hard, thankfully he was there. Be careful of children running around the tables, even though the playground is only 20 meters away.

28/07/2026: Lovely Patisserie with incredibly helpful and kind staff. Exceptional professionalism and were very ready to provide suggestions. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor seating is in a courtyard that was very quaint when we visited. The food was absolutely delicious, as would be expected by a MOF. Not too sweet, well balanced, with a focus on the main fruit instead of some other gimmick. The food looks amazing and tastes amazing. Highly recommend visiting this place.

25/07/2026: A customer since the pastry shop opened, I've seen the service deteriorate over the years. As a result, I now go only very rarely, solely because the pastries themselves remain good, and some are truly unique. After the renovations, I decided to give it another try after discovering the new creations on social media. I was met with an unpleasant surprise right from the start: a young salesperson was single-handedly serving an elderly couple who were struggling to make a choice, while the line grew longer (new customers and those already served were waiting to pay). Meanwhile, two employees were chatting quietly in the back. The salesperson eventually called for help; a woman came to take care of the tea room, but I was still waiting to be served. When Ms. Rigollot finally arrived to serve me, I received a curt remark when I simply asked for a pavlova ("no, that's THE pavlova"). Not very pleasant. Regarding the products: the four macarons were simply placed in a plain paper pastry bag, and as a result, they had hardened within 24 hours. As for the pavlova—or rather, THE pavlova—I was unpleasantly surprised to find a strip of plastic wedged between the meringue and the creamy center, forcing me to dismantle the entire cake to remove it before I could even eat it. At over €6 apiece, one has the right to expect a minimum level of care, both in the preparation and the customer service. New shop, but the staff is still just as unfriendly, if not worse. It's a shame, because the pastry chefs deserve to have their work appreciated. So, I'm going to look for a pastry shop where they take pleasure in serving each customer, regardless of their purchase.

10/06/2026: Disgusting establishment, avoid at all costs. 30 euros for raclette per person, tasteless charcuterie, and boiled potatoes. 100 euros for 3 people including 1 coffee, 2 raclettes, 50cl of wine, and a small fried dish with fries.

26/06/2026: We spent two nights there with breakfast included for two people. What a delightful surprise to discover this little corner of the mountains! The hotel is incredibly welcoming, both in its decor and the staff. Everyone was so attentive. The room was absolutely beautiful. A soft, cozy bed awaited us. In short, we felt wonderfully at home. Just one small suggestion that came to mind on the way home... Could you perhaps add labels to the cheeses at breakfast? We were impressed by the quantity and quality of the food on offer. Thank you again for continuing in your ancestors' footsteps. Well done! Brigitte and Bruno

25/07/2026: I celebrated my birthday at La Table recently and we had a splendid evening. All the staff were super friendly but James took care of us and was the most kind and attentive waiter, really going out of his way for us to have all our needs met. We had the lobster party menu which was very good. Overall a very nice restaurant.

27/06/2026: A truly perfect meal! From the moment we arrived, we received a warm and attentive welcome, and the service remained impeccable from beginning to end. The cuisine was excellent, each dish carefully prepared and delicious. All of this was enhanced by an absolutely stunning view. A huge thank you for the thoughtful touch: we were able to blow out our candles to celebrate our wedding anniversary, a moment that will forever be etched in our memories. Thank you to the entire team for this unforgettable experience. We will definitely be back!

01/06/2026: What can I say? An exceptional moment with a passionate chef and a very friendly assistant. An experience I would gladly repeat. This meal is an ode to culinary travel and an adventure recounted by the chef. A multitude of anecdotes make this meal a truly special moment. The experience is a must if you have the desire and the patience. The only downside of the evening was the car breaking down in the parking lot, but the chef's good humor ensured we had a wonderful time.

03/05/2026: It's an unusual experience. Here, you don't come specifically for the decor, but rather for the ingredients sourced from producers around the world and cooked on the stovetop. The ingredients are high-quality, well-prepared, and perfectly seasoned. The service is well-orchestrated by two people, including the chef. The chef's rapid-fire delivery is interesting, but it's hard to take it all in. I was pleasantly surprised by the discovery of the sensations and flavors offered by the different herbs the chef invites us to consume between bites—it's truly surprising! The wines are very good, and Éric Favre is very friendly.

16/07/2026: The terrace is perfect for a late lunch around 2:00 PM after a hike in the sunshine ☀️☀️. The service and food were excellent and in line with the menu and the restaurant/bar style. The burgers, fries, and salad were all very good. The service was friendly, pleasant, professional, quick, and efficient. Based on this experience, we highly recommend this establishment.

A special thank you to Sabrina who, throughout our stay, dedicated herself to making it as pleasant as possible. Thanks also to the chef for the wonderful meals: a cuisine to discover, specialties to devour, and a cheerful atmosphere right from breakfast (absolutely fantastic!). The location is ideal for enjoying the ski areas of Essert and La Chapelle d’Abondance or for exploring the surrounding area. We will be back. Hélène and Fabrice.

03/08/2026: Excellent restaurant, the only downsides are the high prices on the menu (e.g., beef fillet with sautéed vegetables and potato gratin at €36) and the €10 cocktails served in a wine glass, so the portions are small. Otherwise, a superb atmosphere.

29/06/2026: Pleasantly charmed by the setting. Aperitif with a very good plate of smoked charcuterie. Fresh trout tartare. Young but quite friendly staff.

25/07/2026: Truly artisan bakery with a wide selection that will please everyone in your party, from grand parents to children 😁 Only downside is making a decision on what to order :) Highly recommend the Tartine and Eggs, a bit more than I needed for breakfast but well worth it 👌
