26/06/2026: We spent two nights there with breakfast included for two people. What a delightful surprise to discover this little corner of the mountains! The hotel is incredibly welcoming, both in its decor and the staff. Everyone was so attentive. The room was absolutely beautiful. A soft, cozy bed awaited us. In short, we felt wonderfully at home. Just one small suggestion that came to mind on the way home... Could you perhaps add labels to the cheeses at breakfast? We were impressed by the quantity and quality of the food on offer. The food is delicious, including wonderful Savoyard dishes, and the atmosphere is friendly, warm, and lively! It's definitely my favorite spot in the Portes du Soleil region!

14/09/2026: Beautiful location, conveniently location along the TMB route. We did not sleep there and I can't comment on the food. We intended to eat lunch there, but arrived at 11:30. When I walked in to ask about a menu, I was rudely told by the woman who runs the place that they don't serve lunch until noon and I would have to leave. I walked out to the area outside, with some pleasant-looking covered tables, and considered staying, but time is of the essence when you are worried about encountering a surprise storm or making it to the next refuge before dinner is over. The woman stepped out and served some drinks to a group who was waiting at the tables. I would have appreciated being told that drinks were available, rather than only told I had to wait until noon. Just then, she turned to us and asked, "Well? Are you going to stay?" At that point, we decided we would rather eat our power bars for lunch that spend the time waiting for this unpleasant woman to serve us some food. So we left. She was the only rude woman we encountered during our entire time along the TMB.

08/06/2026: We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Restaurant Baud. The setting is superb, peaceful, and very pleasant—perfect for a relaxing break. The welcome was warm, and the staff were truly attentive, friendly, and professional. We also thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant, with its refined and flavorful cuisine. A truly excellent place that we highly recommend. We will gladly return.

26/09/2026: This Saturday at lunchtime, we really enjoyed the concept of being able to create our own plate for a set price (€17 for four courses of our choice, the cheapest option). This allowed us to try several things at once. Since the tables were prepared in advance, the service was very quick. Plus, the food was really well cooked. It was fantastic! 👏

23/08/2026: Regular customer. Regular at this place. You can tell it's changed ownership. The service is nonexistent, the waitress was unpleasant, the terrace, which is a real plus, isn't being managed properly, and the pace needs improvement. The pizzas are good, which saves the place. There are games available for children, which is also a plus. For fast food, it's okay, but there can be a long wait. For a quick drink, it's fine. For an evening meal... mmm, we'll see. We'll be going elsewhere for a while because we were disappointed by our last two visits.

The meat was absolutely delicious and, above all, perfectly cooked, exactly as it should be. The quality of the dishes was excellent, and you can tell that the ingredients are prepared with care. Another very appealing aspect is the value for money. The prices remain quite affordable considering the quality and quantity offered. It's a place where you can eat very well without feeling like you're breaking the bank. In short, it was a fantastic discovery. Between the quality of the food, the perfectly cooked meat, the reasonable prices, and especially the warm welcome from the manager, everything came together to create a wonderful experience.
