27/06/2025: Very disappointed with the coffee...Not cheap and the preservation left something to be desired, the beans were completely oxidized.
24/06/2025: The tiramisus, the Black Forest slices, the truffle... the multigrain baguettes, the Super Good chocolate bread... it's a shame we couldn't taste everything because the window display is very very beautiful and the products we ate were amazing. Thank you :-)

27/02/2026: We have tried pizza from several pizzerias in the neighborhood. Now we always order here, because at the end of the day it is never better elsewhere. The couple owning the place is very friendly and when I order I can pick up in 20 min (never been longer). Additionally, my son thinks he likes tiramisu. The reality is that he only likes the tiramisu from this place. When we try elsewhere he never likes it.😅

04/01/2026: Objectively, it was quite good, but very basic. And the prices were exorbitant! Really, really, really expensive for what it was. I'm very disappointed… The service was also very slow.
19/12/2025: Seared pork tenderloin, completely burnt when it arrived at the table. The dog loved it.

11/02/2026: The pizzas are good, but unfortunately, it's the only restaurant in the Giffre Valley that doesn't allow dogs.
Half the locals here own dogs. It's up to them to decide if they want to adapt their policy so they don't lose customers.
So I'm removing two stars. And one star because the price is a bit high for pizzas.

10/02/2026: I had a wonderful stay at the Hotel La Tour d’Ivoire. I spent several nights there as part of a business trip, and each evening the food was excellent. Special mention goes to Brian, a very talented chef who is also very kind and helpful.
The atmosphere is pleasant, I highly recommend this hotel, and I will definitely keep the address for my future trips to the region.
12/12/2025: I don't stay at the hotel, but I come here regularly for meetings. Brian is very personable, pleasant, responsive, pragmatic, efficient, and accommodating. A true sense of service, thank you!

13/03/2026: I tried Ali Baba kebab tonight. I ordered a kebab (without raw vegetables) with ketchup. The bread was very good, and the meat was too, but the sauce was disgusting (probably the cheapest kind)! I think the sauce is very important in a kebab. I won't be going back because my enjoyment of the kebab was ruined by a cheap sauce. I'd rather pay an extra euro and have a good quality sauce! My wife ordered a curry kebab, and the sauce was awful!
I don't recommend it!
13/03/2026: I've lived in Annecy for 20 years and I can tell you that THE BEST KEBAB/TACOS are at ALI BABA!!! Just try it once and you'll understand what I mean, and I thank the team who are always welcoming and smiling. I 100% RECOMMEND IT 👏🏼

01/03/2026: A nice place, but unfortunately, I didn't have a good culinary experience. I didn't enjoy what I was served. Perhaps others will, judging by other reviews.
I ordered the daily special: one beef samosa and one croziflette. Both were accompanied by a few spinach leaves.
26/02/2026: Great restaurant, very reasonably priced, everything is homemade, even the fries!
The service is excellent too, and the portions are very generous. A great place to try in old Annecy!

19/10/2025: We came to Thonon-les-Bains for a 3-week spa treatment. We frequently had lunch in the Belle Époque and regularly stopped off at the end of the day. We enjoyed every moment at this establishment: the food, the welcome, the location, and the various thoughtful touches. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Don't hesitate to stop by.
11/09/2025: Excellent brasserie. I go there mainly for breakfast. The waiters and waitresses are always energetic and smiling! I recommend it!

23/03/2026: We went to the bar for a cocktail. The drinks were good and we were enjoying the place until someone started smoking a cigar inside and then others started smoking. I did not realise that you can smoke inside a bar in France in 2026. Our group of 4 left immediately.
