21/01/2026: Domaine Skiable du Roc d'Enfer is a scenic and peaceful ski area. There are several long runs, and you can ski a nice circuit. The infrastructure is somewhat outdated, but it's adequate. There are some nice restaurants in the area.

11/01/2026: A beautiful resort, very easily accessible. We had a wonderful stay, with truly lovely and always smiling staff. The prices aren't excessive considering the size of the ski area, which is a real plus. We went outside of school holidays and it was just perfect: very few people, a real pleasure. We loved it and will definitely be back! We plan to return soon!!

23/11/2025: Excellent restaurant, reservation for 21 people including 3 children. Top-notch service, the sauerkraut was delicious. We had a wonderful evening. Everything was perfect, as usual.

From starter to dessert, the venison, the beef, and the ducklings were excellent. An original and delicious birthday cake. Thanks to the chefs, Emilie, Éléa, and Francis.

19/10/2025: We came to Thonon-les-Bains for a 3-week spa treatment. We frequently had lunch in the Belle Époque and regularly stopped off at the end of the day. We enjoyed every moment at this establishment: the food, the welcome, the location, and the various thoughtful touches. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Don't hesitate to stop by.

11/09/2025: Excellent brasserie. I go there mainly for breakfast. The waiters and waitresses are always energetic and smiling! I recommend it!

20/09/2024: Had a delightful lunch here. Mussels were in season and they were cooked perfectly with shallots and white wine and were tender and sweet. My husband is vegetarian and the chef made him a tofu and curry dish that was delicious. We also had the dessert sampler that was fun and delectable. The staff were efficient and the small indoor portion of the restaurant was lovely. Definitely recommend.

30/12/2025: Help! A Thursday evening with colleagues...horrible, a glacial atmosphere...the food was mediocre at best...only three tables in the dining room, and they served us frozen fries...

21/12/2025: We came for lunch today. The service was very good, with friendly and pleasant waitresses. We ordered the homemade foie gras and the Caesar salad. On Sunday lunchtimes, the menu is indeed limited, which I can understand. However, the value for money was disappointing. The €17 foie gras consisted of three very small slices, about the size of sausage slices… 😱 I've had much better homemade foie gras, in larger portions, and for less money. The €15.90 Caesar salad, meant for a meal, was clearly lacking in garnish and dressing. I usually take photos of my plates, but this one was really unappealing. The only positive aspect of the meal was the revisited lemon tart, which was very good. Unfortunately, we won't be going back.

24/12/2025: A typical Savoyard restaurant with excellent homemade dishes and authentic Savoyard cuisine. I highly recommend it.

13/10/2025: The setting is magnificent and the mountain atmosphere is great. A little disappointed by the service, but there are days without... And the coffees are not worth their price, even at this altitude. But try again for a more complete experience.

20/11/2025: I ordered (to go) chicken and shrimp spring rolls and chicken stir-fried noodles for over €30. The spring rolls were small and frankly had more puff pastry than filling, and the shrimp ones tasted more like samosas. The stir-fried noodles were steamed, without sauce, and the chicken had a rather unpleasant taste that made me doubt the freshness of the ingredients. It's a shame because the gentleman who served me was very nice and the restaurant seemed pleasant, but the price/quality ratio is not reasonable. I won't be going back 😕

11/09/2025: A short 4-night stay with the family. We had three rooms... beautifully decorated and very well-kept by Sisters Chrystel and Marie-France. Always with a smile and Brother Laurent's good cooking. It's a joy to return at the same time and the pleasure of recharging our batteries in this family-run hotel that we've known for 50 years! Thank you for everything and keep it up...and look forward to next year. Kisses!
