11/07/2026: The food here is very good however it is quite expensive, but this location is only accessible by gondola so it is understandable. The main draw of this restaurant is the incredible view and it really is worth it. There are no toilets here if you want to hike down be sure to go to the toilet before you go across the gondola.

16/07/2026: A nice restaurant with very pleasant and attentive staff. The service is quick. However, the food isn't fresh. The fries are frozen and the pizzas have very little topping. Furthermore, the restrooms are not wheelchair accessible, contrary to what is stated on the Google page; there are steps to access them.

01/08/2026: Veju today for lunch with my partner. This little restaurant is a real gem. Antonio, the owner, and Christophe, the chef, I take my hat off to them. It used to be a restaurant, and seeing them both gone is heartbreaking. Despite being short-staffed, they're still dedicated to serving their customers. Guys, I give you a big bravo! We had a lovely time with a superb hand-cut steak tartare (fantastic!). We'll be back very soon to try the pizzas, as from what we've read and seen, they look absolutely delicious. Here, the ingredients are top-quality, and "homemade" isn't just a marketing ploy; it's a way of life. Why you absolutely must go: The Cuisine: Authentic, fresh, and prepared to order. You can taste the respect for the ingredients in every dish. The Atmosphere: It's incredibly welcoming. The owners are exceptionally kind, making the experience even more enjoyable. The Price: For this level of quality in the area, the prices are more than reasonable. It's the best value for money in the Annecy region. In short, an address that deserves to be known and recognized by all lovers of true gastronomy. A big congratulations to the team!

31/07/2026: We'd been wanting to try Marie-Jo's cooking for ages, and it took the Hostel being closed due to rockfalls for us to finally discover it at the Wood Café. The welcome was very friendly, the menu small but appetizing, and we tried the chicken burger and the halloumi, which we absolutely loved. They were bursting with aromas and flavors, a generous portion with fries and salad, and just enough room for a delicious cheesecake. We'll be back!!

From the warm welcome and service to the delicious food, the setting, and the spacious terrace… everything is perfect for a wonderful time with family or friends. The cuisine is excellent, a real treat, and you'll never be disappointed. In short: can't wait to go back!
