19/09/2025: Frankly the worst attitude I have ever seen from a waitress. We sat down waiting for her to take our order (or greet us) and she saw us from the bar and yelled: “Yes?” like it’s my job to take her order, not the other way around. I understand that sometimes you have to order at the bar, but a “Hello, please order inside” won’t hurt anyone. I can’t say anything about the food or drinks in there because we obviously left after this encounter. Too bad, getting paid to act like this is really embarrassing.

09/09/2025: We loved our dinner at Le Stone while hiking the Tour du Mont Blanc. The pizza and salad was excellent! Thank you for the wonderful meal!

13/09/2024: A charming and well-maintained restaurant offers delectable crepes with an impressive variety of fillings. The proprietor, a kind and amiable lady, graciously assisted us with our limited French language skills. We really enjoyed our lunch.

09/01/2025: Quel choc ce changement de déco il y a 2 ans; ce lieu était pour moi une institution annécienne, il ne fallait pas y toucher avec sa localisation et son nom faisant référence à notre belle salle de spectacle attenante. J'aimais ce lieu qui s'était modernisé depuis l'ambiance chalet mais était resté rustique. Le menu ne me convient pas non plus. J'ai supprimé ce restaurant de mes adresses préférées

22/12/2024: Une super expérience culinaire au cœur d'Annecy ! J’ai savouré un filet de daurade accompagné de petits légumes de saison, et c’était tout simplement exquis. La cuisson du poisson était parfaite, fondant en bouche, et les légumes étaient parfait, apportant une touche colorée et savoureuse à l’assiette. L’équipe a été particulièrement à l’écoute et bienveillante tout au long du repas. Le service était impeccable, avec des serveurs attentionnés et souriants, toujours prêts à répondre aux attentes des clients. Le cadre est chaleureux et convivial, parfait pour un moment de détente en famille. Je recommande vivement à tous ceux qui recherchent une cuisine raffinée et un accueil irréprochable.

04/09/2024: The good location of the Ancor hotel, friendly service and tasty breakfast somewhat compensate for some of the minuses. The disadvantages were the condition of the rooms - ours was small and the bathroom door was a makeshift room, it was difficult to maintain privacy in the bathroom. In general, the bathroom could use a facelift (e.g. the washbasin countertop is damaged). There is a parking lot at the hotel :)

02/09/2024: This year a little disappointed with the service: -sheets not changed during my 4-night stay. -no coffee capsules provided (I am a coffee lover). -no signs to put “free room” at the door, obligation to go to reception every day. Positive points: -Good welcome from staff -Air conditioning and fridge Sincerely

07/11/2024: Pizzas assez bonnes par contre je trouve qu'il y a un peu trop de choix sur la carte et par expérience je n'apprécie pas, mais il faudrait tenter une prochaine fois. Par contre, je ne trouve pas le personnel (ou propriétaire je ne sais pas) très enjoué, un sourire mettrait un peu de soleil à l'ambiance du restaurant

06/09/2024: Small snack bar by the water. Ideal for a bite to eat while enjoying the beach. The price is a little high, obviously paying for the setting, but the food is good. The fried sausage is a real treat!

21/09/2025: The food is good and the setting is pleasant by the water, but the service leaves something to be desired. We asked for bread, which was only served once our meals were already finished. The same goes for water: after a second request, we were never served. It's a shame because the place is charming, but I don't recommend this restaurant despite its location. Furthermore, the value for money needs to be reviewed.

19/09/2025: A beautiful setting, right on the water's edge, but the tables are greasy and slimy from the fatty dishes served. The hot box for €27 with a bit of charcuterie and two salad leaves, all without potatoes; a disgusting Savoyard crust and an overpriced glass of beer; added to this, the deplorable service makes you not want to return. A scam for naive tourists in search of misguided Savoyard specialties. Dear fellow tourists, move on!

27/01/2025: Come to eat with friends, quick and pleasant welcome, service also very fast, for starters and main courses, I recommend the cookie to share for desserts which is really very good. Thank you we had a great time

24/01/2025: Even it does not worth one star.It takes skill to make such bad, food at ridiculous prices. You can go there just to watch the view and have a drink, but of course you pay a lot. It's not even worth it for the amazing view.

12/12/2024: For the years that we have been going there, we have mostly taken out and we have never been disappointed. The kebabs and couscous are delicious and hearty and what can we say about the gazelle horns which are succulent. The team is always very friendly and smiling. Small attention, this day while our order was ready, a little green mint tea which warmed us up nicely. We recommend without any hesitation.

19/01/2025: I'm alone so I'm placed at a table at the very back next to the gutter where I get freezing water. Then I wait 15 minutes without a sign from the waitress so I get up to ask her to take my order and she only then tells me that for drinks it can be done directly at the bar. I order and after 10 minutes I say to myself that I would like to nibble something... I had to wait for the waitress to deign to look at me to succeed in eating it. Another 20 minutes of waiting and the owner comes back to see me asking me what I wanted to eat because the waitress forgot what I had ordered... And presto we start again from 0. When I finally have my poor plate of donuts of potatoes, the waitress offers me sauces... 10 minutes of waiting and the sauces of course never arrived. The donuts were cold and disgusting because they were bathed in oil, but that's nothing compared to the deplorable service; especially since when I arrived the terrace was far from being crowded.

22/09/2024: Were invited to dinner. Rustic decor. Friendly, courteous staff. Starter of foie gras served as a small burger. The food was beautifully prepared and came to everyone (5 people) at the same time. Basically, all dishes are prepared with little salt. Personally, it was too economical for me, but a salt and pepper mill can be added upon request. If you take the high price level in France as a basis, the overall price including the desserts was ok, but it is not cheap. So you should take a look at the menu beforehand. Still worth a visit.
